Rob was quick to respond to my initial call and give me a competitive quote. On the initial visit he went up a high ladder to investigate our chimney, telling us what was wrong. Other roofers did not do this. The flat roof on our garage was leaking, the rotten roof was replaced it with a high-quality rubberised system that runs into the guttering. Gable ends were fitted with a new plastic dry verge system. Previous builders’ mistakes were corrected: Valleys were straightened, a roof extension had a mixture of different sized tiles these were replaced. Ridge tiles needed to be repositioned and cemented in. Rob did this very effectively. Lead flashing needed replacing on the roof and the chimney. Minor lifting had occurred to a small amount of lead flashing Rob dealt with all this very effectively. Previous builders had not inserted enough vent holes in soffits. In several places guttering needed straightening. Rob expertly corrected and cleaned all soffits and guttering. Some sand cement mortar joints were cracked. Rob cleared out all the old cement and repointed these areas. Rob was always on time and if there was any change to arranged times, he would notify us. All rubbish was removed and left clear. We now have the reassurance that our roof will not leak. Rob and Dan were willing to go the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble. Rob is a perfectionist, who takes pride in his work. He is a genuinely good guy who wants to help. He is also an excellent communicator.

We have a very large area of the flat roof across extensions to the back of the house that has been added at various times. We had experienced occasional leaks and discovered two large cracks in the fibreglass. Last year I got quotes from five roofing companies and instructed one to go ahead with a temporary repair for the winter and then a replacement in the spring. Unfortunately, I was unable to contact them over many weeks by phone, email or via their website, so I set out to get a new set of quotes. Rob at RMM came out promptly to view the roof and quickly identified that the fibreglass was simply painted over existing felt. The quote he gave me was competitive and he was available to start within weeks, so I went ahead. Rob turned up on time each morning and worked hard to strip the existing roof. Every so often I was called out to have a look at something, as it was found that the old roof hadn't been installed correctly. It was a catalogue of errors! In the end, the job became much bigger than originally expected (but this could not have been foreseen). Rob and Dan worked tirelessly to put everything right. I now have a new rubber roof which I am very pleased with, it looks so much better than it did and the overall cost was good value. I am confident that the leaks will be a thing of the past.

We were very pleased with the work carried out which included re-pointing the ridges, verges and valleys to our house and detached garage roofs. Rob came out and inspected the roofs, provided a written quote and gave an estimation of when he would be able to carry out the work. There was prompt communication throughout and Rob and his team were remarkably clean and tidy given the nature of the work. The work was done to a high standard and we would definitely use again.

I hate roofers but Rob is one of the good guys. I had several roofers do work that helped for a short time but they never really fixed it. I am so glad I found Rob who clearly knows what he is doing and gets on with it. I heartily recommend Rob .

We struggled to find a decent roofer locally, but Rob came over from Burton and climbed up to have a look at the rear roof of our house, and also measured up for his quote. He turned up as arranged and did the job in a couple of days. Subsequently we still had some water getting inside the soffit and he came back and had another look, and we agreed it was a previous roofer's work that meant the valley on one side was not fitted properly - this was not part of the job that Rob had done. He gave us a competitive price to strip it back and do it again properly and all seems OK now after many years of problems.

I have recently moved home and my survey highlighted a number of issues with the roof and guttering. Several slates were broken and some had slipped. The chimney and hips needed repointing, I was advised that vent tiles should be fitted and the guttering was leaking in many places. Rob came within a week of contact to look at the roof and prepare a quote for the work. He was very thorough in his inspection and prompt in sending through the quote. His communication was great when I emailed a query and he and Danny turned up at the time they said they would. The job was completed efficiently and I was impressed at the care they took in placing the ladders to avoid squashing my new plants. They cleaned up carefully at the end and I am very happy with the work they did.

Rob was brilliant from the day he came to quote. Had several people out and he was the only one who actually brought ladders and made the effort to actually get on the roof to inspect it! I moved into the house only recently and was made aware of potential issues via the survey. Rob was totally honest and saved me cash by pointing out that the guttering was all fine and did not need replacing. He also reassured me that the internal timber structure was fine. Rob was very helpful suggesting tiles that would suit the property as I had no idea. His quote was very competitive. He arrived on time, stuck to the agreed schedule and completed a great job that has definitely enhanced the curb appeal of the property. Rob and his team have done a fantastic job replacing an old and worn slate roof for us. Rob came and gave a very good quote for the work and they arrived as promised completed the job on time and on budget. Great work from Rob and his team reroofing our property. The quality of the work was great and they showed a real attention to detail in the finished product. He arrived when he said he would and let me know when the weather got in the way for a couple of days. Management of getting scaffolding set up. then removed and the clean up afterwards was brilliant. I'd really recommend Rob. This has been the best bit of trade work we've had done across two refurb. projects we've done.

We required a new roof for our Kitchen extension. This would need to join into the existing roof. Quite a tricky job. Rob from RMM Roofing answered our enquiry promptly gave us a quote and started the work about a week ago. What a fantastic job they did, a real professional at work which is a rarity these days. They were polite and left the site spotless afterwards and even removed all the rubbish. I am very happy with the end result and also a very fair price for a fantastic job done. We had a few people round for quoting and quite a few prices! Rob actually viewed the work to be done, measured and gave us a fair price with an estimate of time it would take. We had a large roof together with a double garage roof to replace in this weather, we were quite nervous. No need. Everything was carried out brilliantly and safely I’m pleased to say. Rob kept us informed and he and his team worked so well - all our neighbours took an interest in what was happening and were also impressed at how they worked. We highly recommend Rob and RMM Roofing not only for the professional way he dealt with our enquiry, but also for the efficient way the work was carried out on our roof. Initially, Rob gave us two itemized written quotes for the work needed which was very reassuring, especially as he gives a ten year guarantee on his work. (No other firms were offering us written quotes or a guarantee.) We decided to have a dry ridge system installed, replace the old verges with new ones (the old verges had not been fitted correctly and most had come off in a gale) and we needed a repair to the front guttering that was leaking. The work took two days to complete and some additional cracked tiles were also replaced. We were very pleased with the outcome as Rob and his mate did a very thorough job: They worked hard in the two days and Rob gave us feedback / showing photo's of problems that needed resolving as work progressed. We needed a flat roof double garage completely recovered. Rob provided a very competitively priced quote. He and his team started work at the mutually agreed time. The work was finished after two days. Very neatly finished and they cleared up after themselves. A very satisfied client.

Rob and his lads were brilliant from start to finish. He advised us at the beginning of the job estimated timescales & which order the work would be carried out and details of any disruption that may occur during the work - of which there were non. They arrived each morning at 8am, and worked very hard all day - I obviously kept them well refreshed with tea and coffee! We have a detached house and the whole new roof took approximately 5 days to complete, which included a garage, carport and porch - amazing!
