Robbie was asked to carry out a chemical flush of my central heating system. Arrived on time and laid down dustsheets to cover all areas he would be working. After the flush it was discovered that the boiler pump was not operating at good efficiency. Robbie supplied and fitted a new pump. Robbie always explains what the job will entail every step of the way. After getting the central heating operating again, a new fault was discovered. Robbie helped contact the boiler manufacturer to arrange a visit to correct this fault. 100% excellent service and communication throughout the day. I would recommend Robbie to anyone who is considering central heating installation.

This is the second large piece of work Robbie has carried out for us following a new bathroom last year. On both occasions Robbie was prompt, efficient, courteous and friendly. The work was explained in advance and carried out in line with the explanation. The new installation was set up and the workings explained. We are very pleased with the work and the new heating system.

Very helpful at working out a replacement boiler and system that best suited my mother's particular situation. He provided a detailed quotation and was happy to discuss this and the "logistics of doing the work". He arrived on time each day and worked very hard until it was done, ensuring that my mother knew what was happening each day and tidying up the areas for her access at night, before he left. He was always good natured and helpful in finding solutions; including some shifting of furniture that we hadn't realised needed moving for floor access! Everything was done to a high and neat standard and all steps detailed in the quote were completed. The new system works fine and he has responded helpfully to all queries during the work and subsequently. A very professional job.

Have used Robbie in the past so didn’t hesitate to contact him again when we desperately needed a new boiler. He arranged this at very short notice and carried out the work to his usual high standard. I can’t recommend Robbie highly enough. He is extremely knowledgeable and will make suggestions and alterations, if he feels it will improve the finished product. Installed new boiler and replaced hot water tank. Although the work was extensive, there was minimal disruption and mess. He was very particular and careful, and kept us informed at all times what he was doing. He made the process as stress-free as it could have been, and we are pleased with the result. Robbie was recommended by a friend in the village of West Linton. The recommendation was "spot on"...reliable, helpful, and efficient. The quote wasn't the cheapest but we went on the recommendation and once the start date was confirmed, Robbie and joiner, Colin, worked steadily for two-and-half days to remove our old bath and replace with a walk-in power shower complete with grab rails, fit wet-wall panels, fit ceiling panels and replace ceiling fan and light. We contacted Robbie Dick after recommendation from friends and reading excellent reviews online. Our bathroom needed upgrading, new tiles on floor and walls, and shower unit replacing bath. Robbie supplied us with brochures and after several helpful discussions about layout etc we felt confident enough to go ahead. Having used Robbie before to replace our central heating system, he was our first choice to upgrade our bathroom by replacing the bath with a walk-in shower including new wall panels, flooring and an updated toilet. We had a boiler moved and replaced, a new gas pipe fitted and a clear out of the old boiler pipes etc. not only was Robbie extremely professional he went above and beyond to get all aspects of the heating system right.he was so clean and tidy I didn’t even need to clean afterwards. Robbie Dick and his colleagues have completed a wonderful renovation of our bathroom, stripping out the old one & fitting a new, updated one. Everything has been done with care & precision by all involved - plumbing, carpentry, electrics & tiling. In preparation for a kitchen refit we had our boiler replaced and relocated to the garage. Having previously used Robbie for bathroom work we had no hesitation in booking again, and, as before, the service and quality of work was excellent. At quote Robbie listened to our plans and explained how he would suggest completing the job, providing a quote and outlining timescale. Robbie had previously done work for us including a very tricky shower installation so we trusted Robbie to do a good job when we needed a new central heating system installed. He discussed at length our options and our priorities (we want to move to a low carbon system asap) before designing and quoting for the job. We had a combi boiler fitted and the pipe work replaced by Robbie. We are very pleased with the work which was carried to high professional standard. Due to old pipes etc the installation was not always straightforward but Robbie ensured that the best solution was found for us even though it was more time consuming for himself. Robbie was hard working, knowledgeable, a very tidy worker and was willing to discuss progress and answer questions or concerns. Robbie fitted a new boiler and radiators a year ago (great job done), therefore we had no hesitation in contacting him to completely refurbish two bathrooms within our property.
