This is the third time I have used Britannia Robbins for helping us move home. The service from the start was excellent, Paul and the team kept us up to date to make sure the move went smoothly. The removals team were professional and courteous and handled our possessions with care. I would highly recommend Britannia for a smooth house move.

We moved to France from South Wales and Britannia Robbins could not have made things any easier for us. They collected all of our stuff (that is, the entire contents of our house) at the agreed time and date, and the crew were all friendly, helpful and polite. Two weeks later, and again at the agreed time and date, they delivered all of our stuff to our new home in France. Mark and his crew could not have been more friendly and helpful- in fact nothing was too much bother for them. Despite the large quantity of stuff we had, and there were a lot of fragile items too, not a single item was damaged, from leaving our Welsh home, going into storage, and then being delivered to France. An excellent result! All of the staff we dealt with on the phone and face-to-face were a credit to their company- friendly and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend Britannia Robbins to anyone considering using a removal company. You will not be disappointed.

The service provided by Britannia Robbins was exceptional. From the start when the survey was carried out on our premises to the final load arriving at our new premises everything was completed professionally. Britannia Robbins moved our business which was over four floors to our new warehouse. This was not an easy job but was completed on time and there were no breakages. All the stock moved during the three days was fragile. I can't thank Britannia Robbins enough for making the transition as easy and as faultless as possible. I would also like to thank the lads which moved the stock. They were tremendous, professional and made the move seamless - thank you.

Initially the company suitably collected and safely stored our possessions, before then transporting them from the UK to our new home in Spain. Throughout the said 5 week process we were entirely happy and content with the staff involved with the full house move, and can add that the two staff members who specifically moved/placed our belongings into the villa provided first class advice, guidance, graft and expertise on the actual day of the move. Given our recent experience we would recommend this UK based company to others looking to relocate to Europe.

I can't praise the team highly enough. From the initial contact they were friendly and helpful, offering great advice to facilitate my move to Australia, and all in a short space of time. All my goods and chattels arrived safely, thanks to the care taken during packing by the team and once my container had arrived in Australia, the communications with the Australian movers (Palmers Relocation), all worked well. I would also recommend use of the Foreign Currency Exchange option offered by Britannia Robbins which has worked extremely well and efficiently for me.

I cannot recommend Britannia Robbins enough. I recently broke the house buying chain by moving out before my onward purchase was complete. My furniture went into storage. Britannia Robbins provided an accent excellent and reliable service. They arrived on time, took care with my possessions, and were very accommodating over waiting for confirmation of my move out of storage. If I were ever to move again I’d know where to go for quality service.

Robbins provided an absolutely brilliant team for our move. They were very helpful along the way, answering all our questions and keeping us informed throughout the process. What really stood out was how very accommodating they were - nothing was too much of an issue for them, no matter how many last-minute changes we threw their way. I was particularly impressed with their very careful handling of our precious and fragile goods. They took extra time wrapping everything properly and treated our belongings like they were their own. The lads had great banter too, which made what could have been a stressful day actually quite a pleasure. Brilliant value for money as well - their pricing was fair and transparent with no nasty surprises. Moving nearly killed me and I won't be doing it again any time soon, but if I ever had to move again, it would definitely be with Robbins. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Very Professional Service from Survey and throughout our move. This was a two day project and the team provided were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They went way beyond what I expected and I am grateful to them for completing our move and the amount paid was very good value when backed by such high levels of service.

The service we received was first class, the three staff members, Mark, Tony and John showed great consideration and support during a complicated move involving transhipment at both ends. They couldn't have been better. Britannia Robbins is to be congratulated for the service they provide and the staff they employ. Well done.

Britannia Robbins did a fantastic job of moving our house contents from West Wales to the Midlands. Once the contract was signed communication was rather slow but on removal day they arrived on time and provided a quick, efficient service with a friendly smile. Nothing was too much trouble and everything arrived safely, including the stuff in the additional vehicle that wouldn't fit in the first larger vehicle. I would certainly recommend them. The boxes and tape bought from Britannia Robbins were ideal for the job, strong and robust.

Britannia Robbins made my move from Wales to the north of England smooth and hassle-free. The men carrying out the work were polite, very considerate and very hard working. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

We had our household effects in storage with Britannia Robbins for about a year and a half while we looked for a house. When we unpacked the cartons after delivery we found that the bulk of them had been ruined by water damage. Material and leather goods had red rust spots, some covered with white powdery mould and black mould, metal objects badly rusted, metal rims of lamp shades etc, and everything reeked of dank mould. As soon as we knew the extent of the damage we contacted Britannia Robbins sending photographs and requesting a claim form, we received no reply. Eventually after two weeks and two formal letters they replied by email to apologise and say they did not know what had happened. Following this we had one rather confrontational phone call from Britannia Robbins which ended when they put the phone down on us. After six months we finally agreed to an insurance settlement. Although, as this was on an indemnity basis it did not cover the cost of replacement. We are very disappointed in what happened and the way we have been treated by Britannia Robbins we would have expected such a prestigious company to have acted in a more understanding and sympathetic manner, not exactly a ‘Trusted Trader’.

Placed our home goods in storage for two years whilst we were overseas. I was promised and assured that the goods were in a safe and dry container that was often checked to make sure no damage was happening to our goods. Every item that could rust has, all my clothing stank of mould and some items even had to be thrown out as they were not cleanable. I would never recommend these people.

If you are thinking of using this Company to store your household goods, think again. They stored our goods following the sale of our house, whilst we looked for a home in Spain. When they delivered our property, numerous items were moldy, including our top-of-the-range Italian leather sofa (cost: £2100). They tried to fob us off with their recommended insurers, who, in turn, tried to fob us off with a settlement of £250. After several months of being ignored, I eventually had a direct settlement offer from Britannia Robbins of £40 - no, that’s not a typo - £40 for the damage that they caused. Britannia Robbins make a great play on the fact that they have numerous quality certifications for their business. Don’t be fooled. None of these cover the storage side of their business - hence the storage issues. They are therefore meaningless approvals when it comes to their storage service (for which they charged us £213 per month). Other customers have also reported similar instances of damp damage to goods stored at their facilities, so this is not an isolated case. When asked on numerous occasions why their storage facilities are excluded from their quality approvals, Britannia Robins refused to answer. Likewise their refusal to answer how the damage occurred and what actions they took to prevent similar issues in the future. When this issue was referred to Trusted Traders, they, too, did not get answers (that’s if they even asked the question). A Trusted Trader? 😡
