The work was carried out on the date given and in a very professional manner. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to call on their services again.

I found this company through Which Trusted Traders last year and this is the second year I have used their services. Alan was very helpful with great communication on both occasions. His team arrived on date and time as agreed. It was the same gentleman who had pruned my trees last year along with another member of staff and his knowledge and advice along with consultation regarding work whilst here could not be faulted. The work on both occasions was carried out and the site was cleaned up efficiently. I will certainly be looking to use their services again in the future.

We had some large trees in the back of the garden that needed removing & pruning. They did it it efficiently, pragmatic and friendly - nothing to complain!

We needed a tree removed, a conifer reduced and another tree reduced in height. I literally saw their van and went to ask them if they could give me a quote. They very kindly came to look, suggested what they thought would work best and a quote was sent to me very quickly. We have had several quotes for this work and no other company had followed through. We agreed a date and the guys were there ready to start at 9am. They were both very polite, asked if we were happy with each bit of work as they went along and to confirm how much we wanted topped off the tree. It was really interesting to watch them work and I felt very confident they knew what they were doing. They didn’t leave any mess (great as I have a dog and a kid). I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again if needed. We were contacted again to see if we were happy with the work before we were invoiced, all within 24 hours.

We had several trees that required work and as we are in a conservation area Robertson’s obtained the necessary permissions on our behalf. They came on the date promised and carried out the work using impressive equipment. The debris was cleared up and taken away, just leaving the usable logs which we will burn on open fires and stoves.

I had a tree to be removed from our front garden (it had grown too large and was too close the the house) and a large Leylandii hedge at the rear of the back garden that needed to be taken down by two feet and trimmed at our side and the neighbours side of the boundary (the neighbours side was badly overgrown). I went with Robertsons Tree Care after reading other reviews here. The three Robertsons guys who came (on time) were just fantastic. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and had every piece of equipment they could possibly need to carry out the work. The work was done to a very high standard and the Robertson employees worked hard (on a very hot day) to get the job done safely. This was a lot of work to complete in one day, but it was completed without compromise to safety or quality. Furthermore, our garden and our neighbours were left without any trace of the huge quantity of material cut from the tree and the hedge. The tree was covered in pine needles, and even the thousands of needles shed onto the ground when the tree was cut down piece by piece were meticulously swept up and removed. At the back of the house, not just the branches cut from the hedge, but every twig was removed and the decorative stones raked back into neat order. I really don’t see anything that could possibly have been done better. Fully recommended!

Robertsons Tree Care offered a very prompt and efficient service to tackle four trees in my back garden. Staff who assessed, and the staff who carried out the work were very professional and courteous, and instilled confidence in their abilities. The trees were dealt with very efficiently, and the garden tidied up afterwards. I could not fault them on any thing.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alan & his team, the work they completed for us was excellent. Starting with a very prompt quote to the work being completed 4 days later. We had a very tall Ash tree in our side garden which was extremely close to our house removed and a large maple tree in the bottom of our garden cut back & re-shaped. Alan's team were highly professional in their work and cleared away all the debris leaving the garden tidy.

I contacted Robertson's tree care to get four of the trees in my garden cut back and shaped. They were very prompt and did a great job - it's a delight to look out of the window now.

We have a large fir tree at the bottom of our garden which must be at least 40 years old. We were concerned that with its age and height it might be blown down in very high winds causing damage to either the church behind us, or to our own house. We did not wish to see it removed completely. Alan's team successfully took about 30 feet from its height, leaving it safer and our garden considerably lighter. The work was carried over about 6 hours, including clearing all of the debris. It was impressive watching them at work, especially in the higher reaches of the tree. All of the debris was chipped and removed, and the garden thoroughly cleaned. Would happily recommend Robertson's Tree Care.

I was recommended to Robertson Tree Care by another person, and have been delighted at the work carried out, service and indeed how friendly all the staff have been. My main dealings were with Alan initially for the removal of a tree stump, however I was so impressed, I ended up getting them to source and plant some 2 metre high laurels over a 7 metre range to create a screening along the fence. From start to finish the guys were excellent and importantly did a great job including leaving the garden tidy. Will certainly use again and would recommend them to others.

Robertsons Tree Care came to prune three trees and remove one from our back garden They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and did a super job on all of the trees. The guys were very pleasant, worked hard and were very good with all the scary looking machinery they required to use. It was quite fascinating to watch them at work, especially the one who had to climb to the top of a rather tall tree in order to prune it. They were very good at explaining what they were about to do and checking that we were happy with their work. Tidied up after themselves very well. A very pleasant day spent in their company and we would definitely use Robertson Tree Care again.

Recommended by a friend, who uses them frequently, I was very impressed by this company from first contact to completion of the work. The quote for removal of a very large, old, apple tree and drastic trimming of a huge Laurel was very competitive. The team who arrived to carry out the work were extremely efficient and courteous. The job was completed swiftly and all the branches, trunks and leaves removed. The garden was left very tidy. We can’t recommend Robertson’s Tree Care highly enough. I had a cherry birch tree in the front garden which, at around 23 years old, was getting out of hand with large roots breaking surface on the front lawn. I reluctantly decided to get the tree removed. The service provided by Alan and his team was exemplary - from the point of discussing arrangements for providing a quote to the completion of the job. On the day, the team arrived with state of the art equipment and completed the tree felling and removal of the stump and visible roots far quicker than I had expected. RTC did a grand job of tidying up our big beech tree 5 years ago so we had no hesitation getting them back again this year. They reduced the crown, thinned out and pruned leaving a beautifully shaped tree. It's a bit like a tree might look coming out of the barber's! Definitely the best looking tree in town. Last year Robertsons reduced and reshaped a yew, a picea and a Douglas fir. This year they reduced and reshaped a silver birch, an acer and a Bramley apple tree. Excellent service, accommodating workforce.

Quick turn around to provide quote and to cut the trees. Apart from leaving the logs (as requested) you wouldn't even know they've been in the garden - took the trees down and tidied up without damaging anything... including the phone line running through the trees. Highly recommended because were available, competitively priced and very professional.

I had an overgrown Holly tree and a line of another type of tree at the border with my neighbour. They did a careful and efficient job of trimming them down and consulted with me as they went along.It was a friendly and respectful service and they cleaned up afterwards.It all went exactly as I hoped it would. A eucalyptus tree in my garden required to be reduced in height by about 15 -20 feet. The job was completed in about an hour using Robertsons Tree Care cherry picker, so a very safe platform for the cutters. No damage to any fences or plants and the crew were very friendly and professional. They neatly stacked the cut branches for the clean-up team who arrived with their chipper and blower. They reduced the branches very quickly and cleared debris with their blower. This was a very well executed job, no fuss, no problems by a well coordinated team. I can highly recommend Robertsons Tree Care if you are looking for a friendly, professional and trouble free job.

Arrived in good time to take down the agreed target trees and did so with clear efficiency and prompt action despite the difficult conditions of some inclement weather. The team members were friendly, helpful and considerate to both client and neighbour whose property lies alongside. Andy responded to my email requesting an assessment of the tree in the front garden. His report was comprehensive and covered everything I needed to know. He was able to start the job quite quickly. He provided me with a detailed written risk assessment prior to the commencement of the job. The work was carried out exactly as described in his quotation. The tree trunk and all branches were disposed of and the garden left clean and tidy. At all times the men were polite and helpful. I would have no hesitation in using him again.

The work carried out to fell a very large tree in our garden was excellent, completed to schedule and on budget. I just had two large pine trees removed from my back garden along with some other overhanging branches. This was to reclaim space and allow more sunshine for longer. Alan and his team were all professional and skilled at what they were doing. Unbelievably quick too. Trees were taken back to ground level with all branches and trunks removed. This was three days work to dismantle part of a line of ancient Beech trees beside the house. The timber was moved beside the house and cut into 8 inch rings. The team of six arrived early on day one. Work was completed on time and under budget. They were respectful of neighbours concerns. The equipment looked well maintained. There was an overall air of efficiency and safety. Hard to fault.

Before the work was done Alan came round and we had a long discussion about the absolutely massive conifer a few metres from my house. It was very dense and had grown out of shape. We agreed how much to take off and how to re-shape it whilst keeping it all green (I needed to keep it for screening). The work was done efficiently by David and Paddy (who are lovely guys), all the mess was taken away and everything left tidy. Alan checked I was happy before sending the invoice. There were no nasty surprises and the garden looks so much better now. I've used RTC before and so have my neighbours and we can can well recommend.

From my initial enquiry to work completion took 3 days - a lot faster than I was expecting. They gave good advice on what could be done with my jungle and the price charged was less than I expected.
