Ronnie reconfigured the plumbing in the under sink cupboard to allow my new washing machine and dish washer to be connected to the pipework. The plumbing originally fitted with the house was dreadful, with many fittings too close to the sides and cramped. After an initial inspection, Ronnie discussed options with me and returned the next day with the right tools for the job. He completely transformed the plumbing to cater for both appliances, including cutting the necessary holed in the bottom of the cupboard unit to allow the pipes to come in from the bottom and reduce the amount of space they were taking up in the cupboard. He responded quickly to my initial email and could come out to inspect the problem within 24 hours. He was friendly and dedicated to completing the work and doing a good job. I will definitely call upon Ronnie for future plumbing jobs.

Ronnie fixed a leaking pipe that was causing water damage in a hard-to-reach location in an upstairs bathroom. He visited within 24h of an email for a free visit to assess the problem, and explained what he thought the problem was and when he could come back to perform the work. He was extremely professional and explained his work at several points, showing evidence of what caused the problem originally. He also fully tested his repair work before leaving. Very polite and professional, and a fair price. I would certainly recommend him and would use his services in the future.

I was having problems with both of my WCs, which were as installed in 1986. Despite having difficulties with obtaining parts, Ronnie was able to have them both back in good working order in a very short time. I found Ronnie to be a very thorough and competent plumber, who can be relied on to do a good job.

Ronnie replaced a faulty bathroom sink tap. Provided a replacement tap that was far superior to original and completed the work quickly. Very pleased with Ronnie’s work and would not hesitate to recommend.

Ronnie added a new radiator and changed the condensate outlet on my boiler. The work he did was very neat and he included me in any decisions made. He is the most conscientious contractor I have met and I recommend him for any plumbing you may require. I will use him again.

Ronnie replaced our boiler in October 2021 and it has been heating our house and water with no problems since. Today he has given the boiler and associated system a very thorough service, including cleaning the magnetic filter, testing the exhaust emissions and operation of the boiler control systems. His charges are not the cheapest but they are very reasonable for the quality of work carried out. I have no hesitation in recommending him for installation and service.

Ronnie replaced our cloakroom pedestal wash basin and taps to our complete satisfaction. I came across Ronnie Modenese by a recommendation from someone else and have been very pleased with the service and standard of work that I have received. Ronnie attended very promptly after contact, diagnosed the problem, a leaking toilet on flushing, and promptly fixed the fault, which was more complex than it seemed at first. His work was very clean, speedy and he charged me a very fair amount. He is about to undertake some other plumbing work for me and I have no doubt that it will be well dealt with. A real find. One other important factor is that he is intelligent as well as skillful.

Ronnie worked on our Gas Boiler which was giving us real problems. He did an amazing job and now it works perfectly. The problem was a complicated one which required him to understand much more than what was required for a simple service. He kept me informed of progress throughout the process and I never had any doubt that he would fix it. It now works perfectly and now I know how thorough his work is, we will continue to use his services in future. Ronnie replaced a '2 lever swivel spout type' wash basin tap that was leaking and no longer suitable. I had seen a Bristan tap that matched my existing bath taps and he obtained this for me. Having fitted the basin and taps myself in a restricted space some years ago I appreciated the difficulty of the task and one that my ageing frame is no longer capable of! He carried out the job carefully and satisfactorily and cleaned up as he went along. I initially contacted him by leaving a message; he called me back within the hour. He arranged a day to look at what was needed but called me the next day to see if he could call in earlier, this suited me and he listened to what I wanted and took the details of the tap. He gave a price that I considered reasonable for the on and off job times involved. He suggested a date for the job and explained this would depend on his other work and obtaining the tap. He rang me the next day to say he had obtained the tap and could do the work that day, if I wished. I was more than happy to get the work done so soon and with the way he communicated with me, so overall I am very happy with his work and would call on him again.

My heating system was making a horrible noise; my usual heating engineer was not responding to my calls so I checked out this website and found Ronnie. He came the very next day and was initially puzzled by my explanation of the problem and my own attempts to diagnose it. However by a patient and logical process of elimination he found and fixed the source of the problem. He was courteous and helpful, explaining clearly each step he was taking, and I would certainly use him again.

I called Ronnie in the off chance that he could find a slot to replace my kitchen tap and a couple of minor plumbing issues. Not only was he able to fit me in a few days later, but he came to inspect the issues involved on the same day. He explained clearly what I could expect and the cost involved. I then found out that I had a more serious problem with the cold water tank. We were able to communicate through text messaging and photos. Ronnie diagnose the problem with leak and was able to get the necessary parts. He came in on the agreed date to do the work, on time, worked through all the items methodically, and did the necessary repairs tidily. He also put the insulation back on the tank, tape it around, etc. I was really pleased to have found him through Trusted Traders and in general, very pleased to have found a trusted site to solve home emergencies when necessary. Ronnie responded quickly to our request to look at the job and quote and was able to carry out the work within 48 hours. The radiator and outside tap were replaced. The bath tap was dismantled to find out what was wrong and he was able to fix it rather than replace it. He identified why the shower performance was so poor and fixed that as well. We found him pleasant, punctual and conscientious.

In January, this year, 2022, Ronnie promptly and efficiently replaced our dripping cold water kitchen tap, at reasonable cost.

I had a leak from my (quite old) hot water tank. He did a very good job and sorted it out very quickly. He is knowledgeable & resourceful and I know I can trust him with any plumbing problem. I will certainly use him again.

I have used Ronnie on two occasions, first to repair a leaking WC and secondly to replace a kitchen tap. Ronnie serviced our boiler. He came on time. He not only did the safety checks but also checked the condition of our boiler and cleaned out the 'gunge' inside. He found out that the boiler was reaching the end of its life which is helpful for us to know. It was the most thorough and professional boiler service we have had done. At every stage, he explained what he was doing and how much it would cost. His charges were very reasonable. We will ask him back when we need another service or even a new boiler.

I found Ronnie on the Which Trusted Traders site and found him to be very reliable and punctual. His work ( replacing two old toilets plus two pairs of taps) to be of good quality and his charges were competitive.

Ronnie was superb in completing the work for a property I'd just moved into. Had an awkward wobbly kitchen tap which he identified quickly as being a problem with the rubber base. He fitted a replacement that made it stable. There was also an issue with a leak in the base of the tap which he spotted and told me how to quickly fix. The electric shower I have had been connected to the water tank leaving it with a very poor flow and low pressure. Ronnie connected it into the mains with its own valve and fixed a leak in the pipe. When testing it was 10 times better than before. He also checked the immersion heater was working correctly. I'd highly recommend Ronnie as a competent and professional plumber.
