My wife and I needed emergency roof repair during a week of terrible weather Raining and cold John from Midlands Roofing was a life savior. Knew what to do as far as weather was concerned. A total professional. John's work was completed quickly and expertly. Price was completely reasonable. My wife and I could not be happier with the work John did. John is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He goes the extra mile, is very helpful and trustworthy. John surveyed the roof on my two year old property and was able to pinpoint very quickly what was wrong with it. This enabled me to go back to the house builder and be taken seriously. My roof has now been repaired and hopefully during the next storm season my roof will not keep me awake at night with its crashing and banging.

Roof Care, gave excellent service.After twice being let down John arrived to assess the problem, discussed with us the issue and within 2 days sent an estimate for the work to be carried out. John was thorough in his assessment and we had confidence to go ahead with the work. We were then then told the work would be done in 2-3 weeks. However we were lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation and the work completed within a week of agreement to proceed. Our neighbours have commented on what a neat well finished job was made, replacing tiles, ridge tiles and led round the central heating flu. While carrying out the work John found another cracked tile and replaced that with one from behind the chimney and then put new tile out of sight behind the chimney. Then cleared all the moss and debris from the garden. Very pleased with a job well done and no more rain indoors with the heavy showers.

We first had contact with John in December 2022, he came to our rescue when our apex roof sprung a leak just as we were about to go away on holiday, he carried out a temporary repair and we were able to go away not having to worrying about a leaking roof. We had to wait for the weather to improve before John could come back to complete the full repair of the roof because tiles needed to be removed to insert new channels, this as now been done. John is honest, professional and thorough and we are very pleased with the work he has carried out at our house and would wholeheartedly recommend his company to others.

Great piece of work. 3 days to fully replace guttering and down pipes. Huge improvement on the original guttering which was very inefficient due to poor fitting. Fascia all cleaned, it’s never looked so good! Good communication, worked hard, clean and tidy. Prices a little higher than some but no regrets.

I have used Johns services before for a roof repair and was impressed by his professionalism and quality of work so I decided to use him again for some guttering that was leaking. A joined property had previously had the gutter replaced which caused gaps and a never ending need to call out someone to fix it - so I decided to call John for a proper repair. He came the next day as he was in the area, assessed the situation and gave me a breakdown of what was wrong and a reassurance of why it kept breaking and what needed to be done to fix it. He also assessed the damage from the leak and advised remedial repairs due to brittle plastic from continuous water leakage. He also ensured a proper run in the gutter, replaced all the clips and added where there should be more and tidied the fascia’s whilst the gutter was off!!! It looks amazing and will now stand the stormy weather we have been having!!!

Very happy with the service provided. We’d lost a number of roof tiles along the verge of our house during stormy weather, and access to repair was quite challenging. John visited to inspect within a couple of days and the work was carried out within a couple of weeks. Honest, informed and reliable, would definitely recommend.

Unlike some other companies, Roofcare attended quickly to carry out an emergency repair to our roof some months ago. John explained clearly what he had done. He also explained what further work he recommended, and suggested a timescale. No sales pressure. After presenting a detailed, and reasonable quotation, Roofcare came back in October to do the recommended work. We were impressed by the quality of the work done, and by the care and professionalism with which it was carried out. If we need more work done on our roof, we would always ask Roofcare to do it. John at Roofcare did a job for our neighbours so we asked him to look at our problem with a joint gutter between 2 garages. Water had been getting in for some months and the problem was getting worse John diagnosed the problem and came up with a solution which solved the problem without the need for a major rebuild ! A few months after the work we thought the problem had returned so we contacted John who came straight round to see for himself. Initially, I had roof ridge tiles replaced when they blew off early in 2020. I was so pleased with the care taken, I had some roof tiles replaced and brushes added to my guttering later in the year. The company was respectful of the property and, whilst not cutting corners, offered a reasonable quote. The work was well done, which my neighbours commented on.

Excellent work and excellent customer service. Very, very good value for money. We are delighted with the work carried out by John and his team - from his first visit and the quote through to completion. Everything happened as he said it would. He kept us informed throughout. The scaffolding was up and down in the timeframe John advised, and his care and attention in carrying out the work were fantastic. John and co were amazing. What started as a smallish job, was found to be bigger than anticipated due to solar panels hiding damage, but everything was completed professionally and within the timescale given (panels being put back on). The repair seems to have done the job, as no leaks into the office despite some torrential rain, so I am one happy, drier customer. 😁

We had a leak from cracks in the lead guttering to a single storey extension. John provided a speedy estimate and carried out the work very promptly. He provided photographs of what he had done and also sorted a small problem he found that we had not been aware of. We are very pleased with his response and the work carried out. We’ve used John previously for a couple of repairs and he’s just re-roofed a lean-to roof with new slate. He’s done an excellent job. We’re very impressed by his expertise, high standards, hard work, and reliability. He’s also friendly, helpful, good at keeping us informed, and has a nice sense of humour. We first asked John at Roofcare to undertake urgent repairs on our own roof in 2018; on the recommendation of a friend. John and team were very responsive to get back to my enquiries, able to quickly arrange to visit (and were on time when doing so), and undertook the roof inspection + follow up work in a professional and friendly manner. Roofcare Midlands came to repair damage caused by previous roofers. The two companies couldn't be more different. John was very professional, friendly with great communication. He turned up when he said he would, rang to explain that a little more work needed to be done than initially thought, explaining the problem. He kept me updated with phone calls and sent pictures and videos of the work that needed doing and the repair. Everything was left clean and tidy. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

John arrived to provide a quote promptly. He took time to explain the issue and possible solutions. Further to this, he supplied a detailed quote which layed out the work which was necessary. He arrived on time and worked hard throughout the day to get the problem fixed. He had to move items in the garden around in order to access the roof safely, and all of this was put back in its original position. First impressions- responded to initial enquiry straight away..wonderful! Followed by site visit and quote, very personable. Once quote accepted kept in touch via text and always responded and turned up when arranged. Worked solidly for 1.1/2 days, tidied up after, no mess and leaking roof and broken guttering repaired. Would recommend Roofcare (Midlands) to anybody that asks.

Great company run by John who really knows his stuff and is an all round lovely guy. Quotes were quick and reasonably priced. Scaffolding went up and down on time and the work was done to an excellent standard, particularly as no sooner had they finished a load of storms came in and really put it all under strain - but no issues at all! They replaced all our old guttering, sanded and painted the sills and sanded and painted all the fasciae and sorted out some newer guttering that hadn't been done in the best way. Being an old semi-detached house ran into one or two issues but John was happy to halt work, explain the problems and provide solutions without any added cost to ensure the job would be finished to a good standard. All in all very happy with the work and would definitely use them again for any external house issues.

John came round promptly and have us a reasonable quite for repairs to our roof. He managed to fit us in quickly and did an excellent job. John was brilliant! He came to do an emergency repair on a single ridge tile but found a couple of other issues when up on the roof which he fixed while he was there. He responded to my email requesting help the same day. He was friendly and knowledgeable. What more can you ask!

We called Roofcare (Midlands) Ltd after we moved into our new house and found a bad patch of damp in a single storey room in the house. We thought this issue was being caused by a potential hole in the tiles. John arrived and carried out a full inspection including photos and videos. John talked us through the issues we had and let us know the various options we had to fix the problem. John was very clear and answered any questions posed. John carried out the work we requested very quickly which was appreciated. Once the work commenced and tiles were removed it became apparent that the issues we had were worse than we realised. John immediately asked me to look out an upstairs window that overlooked the single storey roof so he could show what the problem was once again. As before he was very clear and let us know what our options were. We made a decision as to how to proceed which John then implemented. The work was completed very quickly to a high standard. Roofcare (Midlands) recently refurbished my utility room roof, re-felted my garage roof and rectified improperly installed guttering. I was very pleased with the work. There were a few problems with the existing roof that could only be discovered after the work was started but I was kept fully informed and consulted on the appropriate remedial action. The work was completed to my satisfaction and within the agreed estimate. They demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the roofing business and carried out the work to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My elderly Mam's flat roof was leaking in heavy rain, John identified the problem and made a quality repair within days with minimal fuss.

John from Roofcare quickly came out to assess the problem, and soon realised what needed to be done. The phase of wet weather at the time & other work commitments, meant that it was difficult to schedule when the work could be started but before too the work began. John was very thorough in his approach, telling us exactly what had to be done, giving us photos of the problem & drawing diagrams . He gave us an estimate and the final bill did not go over this figure. The work turned out to be more complicated than he had hoped, exascerbated by a cheap repair job which the previous owners had arranged and poor work done by the company that had built the roof extension where the work was required. On the days the work was done John & colleague, worked hard over all the hours that were available and a couple of days after finishing John returned to ensure that tiles etc had settled OK. Overall work was done to schedule as far as the weather permitted. We had confidence in John, his work and in his explanations . He did his v best to explain about the work and was very approachable if we had any questions. After receiving the final invoice I was careless in making an online payment, getting one figure wrong leading to a significant over payment. I fairly soon realised this and quickly called John to let him know. Without any quibbles , within an hour or so we had received the amount overpaid in our account. This illustrates why he is a trader to be trusted.

We had gutter and down pipes replaced, water butts installed and fascia boards painted. Everything was satisfactory and done to time. If I have any more roof work to do I will call them again. I don't actually know about value as I didn't get any other quotes.

John at Roofcare is highly professional. From estimating, quotation to the quality of work carried out I am highly impressed. The work was carried out at the end of February/ early March and the weather was challenging. Never the less he worked tirelessly and safely to ensure the work was not impeded. An effective communicator able to give an honest assessment of what is necessary to restore the property and we are very pleased with the outcome which was completed to schedule including the organisation for erection and removal of the scaffolding. His sensitivity in dealing with neighbours in the adjoining property was also appreciated. I highly recommend his services and he will be my first choice for future services.

This was the second time I had called upon John at Roofcare Midlands, the first time being to fix a downpipe that was leaking at roof level. This time was to make a cooker hood vent watertight and replace various broken tiles. It can be hard getting a trader for small jobs such as these, but John was happy to do them. He took pictures of the various problems to show me as not everything was visible from ground level, which gave me confidence that the problems were genuine. I didn't feel under pressure to get anything done that I didn't want or need. Overall, I had a feeling that John is a very honest trader who can be relied upon to do whatever work is needed.

Virtually a complete replacement of a flat garage roof which was in very poor condition. The work was done in a timely fashion and all equipment/rubbish swiftly removed with the exception of a skip, which was due to an unavoidable delay by the supplier. Having brought John in for smaller roof repairs in the past, this time it was a much larger job. A new roof, one chimney reduced, another renovated. Lots of niggles dealt with along the way being an older property. John doesn't cut corners on materials or what needs doing to leave a property in good condition for years to come. Skips and scaffolding all arranged, and parts of the car port carefully taken down (for scaffolding) and replaced afterwards. Very happy with both the results and their conduct. Good communication throughout as plans do change (can't control the weather!) Everything left tidy at the end of each day and cleaned up at the end of the job.

We had begun to despair of ever finding a good, reliable workman after bad experiences with people we have employed recently. John was a breath of fresh air! We needed someone to cure a leaking roof and John proved to be the very person for the job. St. Edmund's Parish Church, Holme Pierrepont is a Grade 1 listed building and therefore subject to rules and regulations both from the Diocese and Insurance Company. The roof had developed a leak which, over a lengthy period of time, had led to internal damage. Over a period of many months, the church had to apply for grants towards the cost of the repair, permission from both the Diocese and Insurance company - with their own conditions for the work to be carried out and consultation with the church architect. John took on board all that was required and was very patient and understanding and kept in touch to see how things were progressing. Work finally started 3 September 2018 and was carried out in a very professional way, within cost and time. He also carried out some additional minor work that was over and above that originally planned for. Because of their professionalism and workmanship, we are entering into an annual maintenance contract with him and his company and have no hesitation in recommending Roofcare (Midlands).

I got Roofcare (Midlands) to replace the ridge tiles and remove a redundant vent pipe through the roof. Although I only had a one month window in which to get the work done John was happy to reorganise work to fit this in. The standard of workmanship and customer service were outstanding. John keep me informed and involved at all stages. On completion all the work requested was done, the gutters were cleaned out and the driveway where they had been storing things was actually cleaner than when they arrived! One really big plus (from a customer frustration view) was that if John said he would keep me informed, or call back, then he actually did.
