RS Electrical was founded by myself, Richard Sanders, in 2010, following a long career in the electrical contracting industry. I have worked for several companies, both large and small, on a wide range of electrical installations in both the commercial and domestic sectors.
RS Electrical is now a well established business with many regular clients across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Richard recently installed a simple fire alarm system for the communal areas of our property. The work was completed efficiently and tidily, and with absolutely no fuss. He is NICEIC registered and provided the appropriate certification for the installation promptly. He is friendly and punctual and straightforward - and he was unflappable in the face of some last-minute changes of plan. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any electrical work.

Richard quoted fairly, gave good advice in advance of the appointment, found an appointment slot swiftly, did the EICR thoroughly, fitted the new flush ceiling lights, sorted some snags, talked me through the work and answered my daft questions! Work was kept to schedule and the budget, and it was very easy. Big relief after having another electrician trying to take the mickey over the same job. Thank you, Richard - glad I found you!

The service provided went far beyond my expectations - all work was carried out to a very high standard, emails were responded to promptly, and additional advice and links to useful information were given to me. RS Electrical UK rewired my kitchen, carried out an EICR, installed a bathroom fan, rewired a hall socket, and installed a new consumer unit. I had recently used another trader (not a Which? Trusted Trader), but their work did not meet regulatory requirements. It gave me peace of mind to contract RS Electrical UK to put things right, and I highly recommend them.

Richard is excellent. He has done big (rewiring) and small (new lights) jobs for us. He comes into his own when diagnosing a problem which lots of other electricians were not able to solve. He is methodical, thorough and comes up with a solution that works. We had a number of electrical issues resulting from flood damage and in the past poor wiring. He gave us a work plan of how he was going to solve everything, a break down of costs and timings - he delivered on everything, solved the electrical problems and did it to time. His costs are very reasonable for the excellent work he does. And he is just the nicest person to deal with.

We found RS Electrical on this site. They responded quickly to our enquiry and came within a couple of days to quote to replace our kitchen under-shelf lighting. The quote was clear and slightly the cheaper of two we received. On acceptance, they came to do the work three days later and completed the work and cleaned up all within two hours. We are very happy with our new, brighter, well-fitted lights. Highly recommended.
