RS Electrical was founded by myself, Richard Sanders, in 2010, following a long career in the electrical contracting industry. I have worked for several companies, both large and small, on a wide range of electrical installations in both the commercial and domestic sectors.
RS Electrical is now a well established business with many regular clients across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Richard really did a great job making my first flat safe and unfortunately working alongside other difficult contractors. He was always polite and accommodating. The fuse board of the flat had not been looked at for 15 years and needed replacing and all electrical outlets needed testing and replacing. He added some much needed extra points in rooms. He really did an amazing job and i appropriate the time and effort put into making the flat safe and usable again. Thank you Richard!

Richard Sanders did a great job for us, installing emergency lighting, smoke alarms, motion sensor lights and a new consumer unit for the communal areas in our small block of 10 flats. As well as carrying out the work quoted for, he included a few little extras at no additional charge. He was always polite, courteous and explained what he was doing and has provided the appropriate certification for the work very promptly.

Richard installed lights and power sockets in our garden and connected them back to our internal fuse board. He provided a detailed quote with options for us to choose from and precise information about the fittings and cabling he proposed. The job required two visits to fit in with other works we were doing in the garden - first to lay the cables, the second to install the fittings. He worked diligently and carefully ensuring everything was installed neatly and securely. He was always punctual and is a very pleasant and honest person to deal with. We will definitely use him again.

I needed new wiring for a new induction hob and oven, as well as additional sockets. Richard also spotted problems from older electrical work, which he suggested could be repaired, but wasn't in any way pushy about doing. His approach to doing a good job, being on time, being polite and being helpful was refreshing. Most importantly his quote was competitive. I will definitely call on Richard if I need work done in the future.

Richard did an EICR and some Portable Application Tests for me. His quote was very reasonable, communication -so important- excellent from beginning to end; he was punctual, efficient, pleasant, and took the time to explain the inspection results and make some recommendations for improvements. Richard performed an exemplary refit in our dated communal areas to modernize the lighting and install a fire safety system to bring us up to code. We are a share of freehold community of 8 flats in x2 Georgian terraced houses. Richard quietly got on with the job at hand and was efficient in what he did. I contacted Richard for a quote for a number of jobs at my home in December. He was very quick to respond to the request and to come round to review the work and I received a quote within 24 hours after. At the time I was not able to move ahead but I recently recontacted him to replace a fuse board initially. It will be the first of many jobs as Richard did a really great job and was as quick in his turnaround both on communication and on the work itself as previously on the quote (emailed him Wednesday, he's completed the work by the following Monday). Great communication also about what can and can't be done at my property, really helpful for a first time buyer, and did not (like others who quoted for the work) get the sense that any job was too small or question was too basic for him. Thanks, Richard. Will definitely use your services again!
