Anyone from London understands what a challenge it can be to find the right tradespeople. Thankfully, Richard impressed me with his professionalism, responsiveness and helpfulness throughout the entire process. He provided a fair quote, answered my questions thoroughly, and completed the work expertly. I have no doubt I'll be returning to him for all my future electrical needs.

Made Contact in Nov and was told they would do the work in Jan which worked well for me. Chased for quote numerous times and after 6 weeks of this was told not interested. Being let down 2 weeks before due to start has now delayed the refurb as I need the electrical person first. Now likely to lose the builder who has advised he has another job if he can start in January Another unreliable unprofessional tradesman.

Richard did a number of small but necessary jobs for us on the same visit. They included wiring a doorbell to the mains, replacing an exterior light and chasing in a new spur connection. He did all of them neatly and efficiently. He turned up punctually when he said he would with all the things he needed and left everything clean and tidy when he left. I found him pleasant to deal with and very professional. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Richard undertook a range of electrical work in our house over several days. The bulk of the task involved converting a large number of LV halogen lights to LEDs, but he also addressed various switching issues, replaced a bathroom extractor fan and installed some exterior lighting. His free quotation was meticulously researched and competitive, and the work was duly completed in accordance with the previously agreed budget. We were to source one particular light under a guarantee, but this proved more complex than we had expected. When we eventually received the fitting, several weeks after the other elements of the work had been completed, Richard returned to our house and made the installation without any additional charge. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the job, and I recommend his services unequivocally.

Richard came to diagnose a problem we had with a failed LED ceiling light. He arrived on time , was very polite, and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He also advised on a couple of other electrical issues we have. I will definitely contact him about any future electrical problems

Richard conducted an EICR and replaced several of the light fittings in my new flat. I was delighted with the service provided by Richard. RS Electrical undertook a replacement and upgrade of the fuse box and house electrics following a previous very poor and dangerous electrical installation. The work was undertaken with great care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble and any questions were addressed professionally and quickly. I needed to book an EICR check for my landlord. Richard was polite, intelligent, quick, thorough and had the power off for less than the expected time. Very positive experience.

I found Richard through the Which website, as I wanted an EICR check on my flat. Richard carried out this check and his findings showed some recommendations to meet this standard. I also made him aware of some faulty socket in my kitchen (basically dead sockets) which I was concerned about. He put in an earth main to my gas meter and fitted a new metal fuse box (safer than my old plastic one) with an extra residual trip to protect my lighting (which was not there before). He worked tirelessly to find the cause of the faults to my kitchen sockets. He found these and fixed the problem, this was a huge relief, as they were a concern, and they are all working again. Richard is quiet and polite and takes the time to explain things so you can understand. He works extremely hard and with precision and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Richard really did a great job making my first flat safe and unfortunately working alongside other difficult contractors. He was always polite and accommodating. Richard Sanders did a great job for us, installing emergency lighting, smoke alarms, motion sensor lights and a new consumer unit for the communal areas in our small block of 10 flats. Richard installed lights and power sockets in our garden and connected them back to our internal fuse board. He provided a detailed quote with options for us to choose from and precise information about the fittings and cabling he proposed. The job required two visits to fit in with other works we were doing in the garden - first to lay the cables, the second to install the fittings. He worked diligently and carefully ensuring everything was installed neatly and securely. He was always punctual and is a very pleasant and honest person to deal with. I contacted Richard for a quote for a number of jobs at my home in December. He was very quick to respond to the request and to come round to review the work and I received a quote within 24 hours after. At the time I was not able to move ahead but I recently recontacted him to replace a fuse board initially. It will be the first of many jobs as Richard did a really great job and was as quick in his turnaround both on communication and on the work itself as previously on the quote (emailed him Wednesday, he's completed the work by the following Monday). Great communication also about what can and can't be done at my property, really helpful for a first time buyer, and did not (like others who quoted for the work) get the sense that any job was too small or question was too basic for him. I can highly recommend Richard's work. He has a good approach which means each job is clearly estimated and then the work is carried out in a professional, clean and tidy way. He has done problem solving, fitting underfloor heating, re wiring and outdoor lighting for me, and I am happy and confident in all of the work.

Richard worked for me first, providing a creative solution to bypassing inadequate circuitry in an old property. He subsequently returned to replace a raft of obsolescent wiring and circuit boxes which were a potential firerisk. Richard provided an Electrical Inspection Report for us whilst we were purchasing our flat - he clearly explained to us what was needed, organised with the estate agent access to the property and promptly provided the excellent report and quote for works as we requested. I had no cause for disappointment whatsoever.
