The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Everything was explained perfectly beforehand with a clear breakdown of the service. The builders were very friendly and happy to explain the work as they did it. The gutters look fantastic and have worked brilliantly since day 1! Customer service was very strong. I had been given 2 different numbers to contact the manager if I had any questions. She helped with all the paperwork as we needed the invoices split 4 ways for each neighbour. She answered all my questions and the neighbour's questions over the phone or email very quickly and maintained a friendly and professional approach throughout. We also gained a 50-year insurance-backed guarantee, which came through quickly. Would definitely recommend this company on the work they did, and their customer service.

The builders completed the work quickly and with little disruption. However, the manager was rude and unprofessional throughout. My neighbour had already engaged Rutilus before telling me that the work was necessary (we have joint liability). I contacted the company to discuss some serious concerns. The manager answered my questions but told me that I was not welcome to ask any more. She also passed my personal details to my neighbour because she thought "there would not be a problem" with doing so. It was agreed that payment would not be due until the work was completed, and the removal of the rubble was listed as part of that work. When the builders departed the site on 3rd March, they left the rubble for later collection. The manager insisted on payment while the rubble was still on site, even stating that payment had been due on 1st March. The rubble was collected on 8th March; I posted the cheque the following day, and told her that I had done so. When it failed to arrive within a few days, she accused me of lying and threatened legal action. I have found the manager to be rude in the majority of her emails to me, and it is for that reason that I cannot recommend this company.

After researching for companies who replace Finlock guttering, I went with Which's recommendation Rutilus who were very professional and I was really pleased with the outcome. The pair, who arrived on time each day worked their socks off and cleaned all the rubbish as the went along. It hasn't. rained yet but I'm very confident that the guttering will work as good as it looks. Highly recommended.

Got three quotes prior to deciding which trader to use. I found Rutilus to be very competitive on the quote and Anthony the salesman was clear and explained the process well. The guys turned up on time as stated and from start to finish were efficient in their work. This is a dirty and noisy job, but the guys did their best to ensure both were kept to a minimum. Overall a great job and this has made a world of difference to our house.

The fitters arrived right on time on a cold and frost morning and immediately set to work. They worked thoroughly and efficiently throughout the two days to complete our new gutters. A great job well done. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rutilus from start to finish.

We got a few quotes from different companies, and while others tried to give us the hard sell or quote using Google Street View alone, Rutilus came to our house, looked at the job, and gave what turned out to be the cheapest quote. On the day, they arrived early, got on with the job, and left our house spotless. Since it was the Saturday before Christmas they left a small rubble bag for later collection (which was done very quickly considering the time of year), but took the old asbestos downpipe with them as arranged. They were polite and efficient from start to finish. The house looks amazing! We are delighted with the work and reassured by the excellent length of the guarantee for both workmanship and materials.

We needed our concrete gutters replaced and contacted Rutilus, very good rep who quoted a reasonable price, signed up on the day and given a date in December for work to commence. I had to leave for work early on the day the fitters were due. I contacted them and they said the fitters would be there by 7am and they were there bang on 7am. They completed everything by the next day and cleaned the conservatory roof and washed the windows. The old concrete guttering was put into a large hippo bag which was taken away the next day. The house looks so much better with the new gutters. Guarantee for new pvc gutters arrived in the post by the end of the week.
