RW Sash Renovation

Initially 8 of the 12 Sash Windows could not be opened manually and all had significant deterioration to individual sections of the windows and frames. This was a difficult project as 8 of the windows were situated above one of the busiest roads and footpaths in a central area of the Town. Rob undertook the repair of the weights and cable mechanisms so that the windows can be opened effortlessly now. The detailed repairs to decayed sections of the Frames and especially the delicate wood cross rails supporting the individual old window panes was exceptionally well done. Robs attention to detail meant it's difficult to distinguish the repairs and the original elements of the windows. Rob is very easy to work with, gave good advice for onward decorating and maintenance of the windows. The work was completed on time and budget and would definitely work with Rob again.

Rob and his team renovated 7 sash windows for us in a Grade II listed property. They knew exactly what they were doing, and did a fantastic job. One window in particular was completely rotten, and most of the others were letting in water and drafts. All now renovated to a very high standard. This the second time we have used Rob to install slimline double glazing in our existing Edwardian sashes. We were so impressed with the job he did with our downstairs windows that we had no hesitation in calling him again to double-glaze our upstairs windows. His quote was extremely competitive and I had complete faith in him from the start. The job itself was faultless: he and his assistant were spot-on time each day, they worked cleanly and efficiently, and were unfailingly helpful if I had any questions. Rob works wonders in restoring sash windows. He did the front (Victorian) windows last year and we were so impressed we asked him to return and do the remainder last month. Very reasonable price and he does what he says he will do - and when.
