Ryan's Plumbing & Heating Ltd

In February 2025 Ryan replaced my oil combi boiler after the old boiler failed completely. The whole job was completed in one working day, efficiently and tidily. I would certainly use Ryan's Plumbing and Heating again for any heating or plumbing needs.

Our Stewart Turner (ST) shower pump, which was 20 years old, had begun to pack up and I was told by ST that spares were no longer available. I had never used Ryan's Plumbing and Heating before and I got their details from the ST website. Ryan came out the day after I contacted him and he quoted for a new pump. He did suggest that I could go from a vented to an unvented water system which would circumvent the need for a pump. I decided not to do this and Ryan respected my decision. Within a few days Leanne and her assistant came out with a new pump. They found that the isolation valves on the old pump had seized so they drained the system and fitted new lever valves. The pump was duly fitted and tested. At my request, they had sourced a new anti-vibration mat to go under the pump and, after installation, the new pump was much quieter than the old one. They cleaned up after the job and left our airing cupboard in a neat and tidy state. Having not used them before, I found Ryan extremely knowledgeable and helpful and his team did an excellent job to the quoted budget. Overall, an excellent job and I would certainly use them again.

New worcester boiler fitted to existing system by Ryan and his team Leanne and scott. They were all very help ful, and just the service you would expect. Tidy and efficient and would recommend his company.

Ryan & his team came over as arranged after a previous visit to assess what was required & supply a quote. They carried out a power wash for our radiator system and added anti-corrosion treatment which had been lacking for some years so had caused a lot of sediment to accumulate in the pipes & radiators. This was an all day procedure, but inbetween power washing each radiator in turn until the water ran clear, they also replaced a broken three port valve, & an expansion vessel that had failed, adjusted the filling loop to the system, and replaced a leaky tap in the bathroom for me (I`d already chosen & purchased a new one in readyness). They were all very easy to have in the house and happy for me to watch what they were doing and to answer any questions that I had. There were a couple of things that Ryan will need to return to do at a later date, but I have absolute confidence that these will be done to an equally high standard.

We needed to change our old radiators. As usual, Ryan came on time, letting me know in advance that he was on his way. The work was done to my satisfaction, with no issues. After several years with a well known Boiler Installation & Service company which I was finding increasingly unsatisfactory I changed to Ryan's Plumbing and Heating Services ltd. I was not disappointed. Ryan is professional and efficient. He immediately pointed out that an important part that should have been fitted at installation 5 year ago was missing which could have resulted in catastrophic flooding If not corrected. I am now in contact with the installation company who were responsible and who have been servicing my boiler every year since installation for which I was paying an expensive 5* service plan. Ryan has been doing all our plumbing needs for the last 10 years and always does a professional job. His apprentices do just as good a job as well, under his guidance. His most recent work for us was complete replumbing of new kitchen and thanks to some inspired thinking on his part, we were able to get a much better kitchen design. No hesitation in recommending Ryan.

Our usual Gas Safe plumber was unavailable and Ryan agreed to carry out our annual boiler service and remove an unresponsive radiator and fit a new one. Whilst Ryan carried out the boiler service, his colleague Leana drained the system, fitted the new radiator and made good the wall and piping. Unfortunately, the new radiator appeared to have a blockage leading to it and, as the day was drawing to an end and all other radiators were working, Ryan agreed to return first thing in the morning. As good as his word, he turned up early confirmed the problem and used a pressurising device to force the blockage out of the system. All done very professionally and effectively for reasonable cost. I believe Ryan to be a highly capable engineer who takes his work and reputation very seriously. He is friendly, dependable and trustworthy. I highly recommend his services.

Ryan and his team made an excellent job of replacing our old gas boiler with a new Worcester Bosch combi-boiler and converting the existing plumbing to suit. The job was completed within the agreed timescale and to budget. There was minimal disruption and everything was left clean and tidy at the end.
