Hi, I'm Scott Cloud, your Local Reliable and Trustworthy Electrician in Orpington. I specialise in domestic and commercial electrical installations and the provision of a range of services directly to Homeowners, Letting Agents, Landlords and businesses.
S Cloud Electrical Services Limited is a small electrical company that carry's out all types of electrical work. The company was started in 2016 and is based in Orpington, Kent. I cover work in Orpington, Bromley, Beckenham, West Wickham and surrounding areas, with many years electrical experience and knowledge within the industry.
The work I do is both domestic and commercial, from large jobs to small jobs, from a full re-wire to changing a light fitting. When visiting to view the proposed work, Scott explained in detail what was required. On the day the work was carried out, Scott arrived at exactly the agreed time and carried out the work - replacing a defective double power socket and replacing five halogen light fittings with LED fittings and fitting a new 3 way dimmer switch - quietly and efficiently. He then demonstrated the new fittings working and throughout was informative and friendly.

We contacted Scott after seeing his advert in a local magazine. We explained the problems and he suggested how to fix them. He quoted a price for the work and agreed a date and time with us. We have used Scott numerous times since moving to our new home in October 2022. This time was work needed related to our new kitchen range. The new range required a bigger cable so Scott came to look at what was required and how it was to be done. Scott planned a way of running the new cable from the fuse box to the location of the range without damage to our kitchen cabinets. As we have seen before Scott makes an appointment and he turns up on time and first thing he does is protect our home with dust sheets while he works. Scott is a tidy worker and he explains everything he is doing as he goes along. We are very pleased with the work and our new range is due in a couple of weeks. This is a professional service and we have no hesitation in saying you should use Scott for any electrical work. We have always had a written quote in advance and have never been charged anything more than the originally agreed price.

I found Scott through Which Trusted Traders. He arrived punctually, introduced himself and covered carpet with dust sheet before bringing in all necessary tools etc. He explained everything thoroughly before starting work, making sure that I was happy with where the sockets would be placed and then asked me to check that I was satisfied with finished results. He put all furniture back in place and left each room dust-free. I am extremely pleased with the finished results. The work was within the original quote and done to a very high standard. This is the second time to use this company. Having moved house in October there is a lot of work to do. We gave Scott a long list of jobs. This ended up as a 2 day job. Fair pricing, punctual and tidy work. One of the jobs on our list turned out to be more complicated than expected but Scott just got on with the work, no hassles. I was surprised to learn that Scott also installs Ring alarm systems. We will be looking into adding cameras to our doorbell. The extra sockets we requested were done with no mess at all thanks to the machine Scott uses. This is the second time we had extra sockets and both times, no mess. All work done very well and our house left clean and tidy. We are already planning the third job which is likely to be in March. We are very happy.

Contacted Scott to help with an issue we had with our integrated spotlights installed by another electrician who had gone out of business. Scott was helpful from the start. He came out to view the problem and offered advice and followed up quickly with an email and quotation. He fitted in with our timeframes even when we had to change the date we had previously agreed with him. The work wasn’t quite as straightforward as originally thought but he completed to our satisfaction. He is a friendly approachable individual and a clean and tidy worker who definitely understands the meaning of great customer service! We definitely recommend him and will use his company again.

We used this company for the first time yesterday. Having moved into a new home we have a list of many jobs that need doing but one of them was time sensitive before furniture is built in situ. Scott went out of his way to fit us in on the rush job. This was for additional sockets in the sitting room. Outstanding. Scott did a full survey, and then 3 days of remedial work and fitting a new consumer unit and fusebox. He kept us informed at every stage and didn't press us to have expensive work that wasn't strictly necessary. We feel much safer now, not least because he found some things that were dangerous and needed immediate work on the day of the survey. Scott worked incredibly hard and did a great job in spite of some of the work being very difficult to access. Everything was explained clearly, both in the days before the work, and while he was here, and he checked that we were happy with it all before signing it off. Work was completed exactly on schedule, to a very high standard. We're so glad we found him, and can't recommend him highly enough. On a side issue, it was reassuring that he works on his own. Although this may mean a longer wait, you know for sure who will be coming! Definitely worth waiting for!

Scott installed three new double sockets and an additional light at the front of the house. The new light wasn’t as straightforward as hoped due to old wiring that had to be upgraded. I have used S Cloud Electricals several times and I have always been pleased with the service I have received from Scott. He always returns your call and arrives on the day he says he will and on time. Scott arrived with no presumption of walking into my home unmasked or wearing his boots. He was pleasant, polite and offered what turned out to be sound advice about the replacement of an electric socket and other work I wanted to have done. Scott undertook a review of our electrical installation at home, and then provided a comprehensive report on improvements required to meet current safety standards. When I called Scott he was friendly but he wasn't able to arrange an appointment because he didn't have his diary to hand. He said he would call me back - and he did: always a good sign. I had a difficult schedule but Scott fitted me in. He turned up on time, was professional and courteous. He explained the problem clearly in layman's terms and gave a couple of solutions - there was no hard sell or pressure. It was a small job and I agreed to go ahead and Scott was able to do the work immediately - another bonus. There is a lot going on in my house but Scott just got on with the job quietly and it was completed. Discussed options for another possible job but no hard sell - just left it with me to consider. This is the second time I have used Scott. This time it was a review of the light fittings in my daughter's house as I was concerned about some the exposed wiring. Scott did a survey and recommended and quoted for the works. Scott as before was very professional and carried out the work in a diligent manner. Also his back up paperwork is first class. Scott did 3 jobs for me in October, November and January. Took details and made notes before providing a quote. When quotes accepted dates were agreed for work which were all adhered to. Extremely pleased with quality of work. An installation engineer for a double electric oven commented on high quality of electrical provision. Scott provided the electric supply for a wall TV and then helped me mount it which I would not have been able to do myself and was above and beyond his remit. I started with a EICR because the property has not been updated for years if ever since it was built. Following result of EICR I had earth bonding done for gas and water. The remedial work was done and then I had a fuse board installed. Then I had single sockets made into double ones. Light put in loft. And security lights at front and back of house. Scott was very helpful and his work was carried out well. He was a clean and tidy worker. I would 100% recommend him.

Additional Fuse Box installed within the house for the purpose of supplying new electrical power to the exterior elements of my property. Cables run 140 foot up my garden to my shed whereby new power sockets and lighting was installed. Double sockets installed around the garden to facilitate outdoor lighting and water feature.
