Ste has been fantastic through the whole process from going out to my house when it was on the market to complete an electrical report. The report was received the same day. Great communication from start to finish with Ste, quick responses via email and he turned up on the days that he said as it was a 2 day job. Ste also came out to complete a site visit prior to work starting to confirm the work needed and where I wanted extra sockets putting in. Ste completed a very professional job and I found him to be very trustworthy. I gave him a key to the house so that he could access the property and they key was returned the same day the work completed. Ste completed the works as quoted and was also happy to add some smaller quick jobs on after the initial quote when I asked prior to the work starting. I now have a family member that has asked for him to complete work at their house. I will be using again and recommending to others.

SM electrical came recommended by the company that was installing our Air conditioning unit, so for ease we went with them! As we were renovating a large kitchen we asked them to quote for additional work! When they came to scope one of the issues was we agreed 4 additional spot lights, that particular day was busy with multiple tradesmen so I sat up stairs out of the way! They knew where to find me If needed! I left ste fitting spots lights etc! I’m not sure what time he left but was around 2.30pm (we were charged a day) I went back down to check and found he’d gone but had fitted 6 spots! This massively impacted the kitchen layout as 2 would be over a corner pantry and would look rubbish I called him to ask about it and he got very defensive insisting we asked for 6!!! Luckily we had a plasterer on-site so we were able to close one off and plaster over! He was booked back in on the Mon 9th March to complete some work! We got a text at 7.30pm the Sunday evening before to say he couldn't attend due to unforseen circumstances. We had to push back all the other trades that were due to follow! We didn’t get any communication from Ste about a return date so I called him on the Wednesday (he was back working) but said the earliest he could return was nearly 3 Weeks We asked him not to return Tbh he did us a favour as we now have found an amazing electrician!

Stephen did a couple of small jobs for us. He replied promptly to my initial email and arrived to do the work at the time he said he would. He checked that the ceiling lightbulb he changed was a good colour match for the rest of the set. He also checked that the dimmer switch he changed was set correctly for the bulbs it controlled. He was friendly and we appreciated that without us asking he wore overshoes in our house. We would definitely use him again.

I have used S M Electrical for a bedroom TV installation, outdoor light fitting and living room light installation. Ste has great communication, letting me know his availability and giving me notice that he’s on his way. He turns up on time, performs high quality work and maintains cleanliness. I would definitely recommend him.

Ste fitted some lights for me and he was great. Arrived on time, work done promptly to a high standard and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
