Although we had to wait several months for the work to be done , we were very pleased with the competence & efficiency of Gary & his team once they started. We were kept informed of progress & given the opportunity to inspect whenever necessary. Additional work was required beyond the quote (which was based on a surveyor's report) & Gary explained clearly what was required & why. There was one area of work to a chimney which Gary originally thought was not included in the survey & therefore not quoted for , but when we pointed out that it was covered in the survey , Gary accepted this & did the work without additional charge. We were not required to make advance payments , the whole cost being paid following completion . They were clean & tidy removing all rubbish. The work was completed quite recently & we await seeing whether any snagging or remedial work is necessary , but we think this unlikely . SNK have not provide any formal guarantee but given the experience we have had we would not expect there to be any problem about any defects being made good. Both we & the neighbours downstairs have asked SNK to quote for further work.

Gary & Charlie renewed a roof terrace for us, replacing asphalt & timber decking with roofing felt & rubber tiles, plus insulation, leadwork, repointing and downpipes. As we are mid terrace they had to access through the house, and were considerate & tidy. They started and finished as planned, and worked over a weekend to catch up after a scaffolding delay (a sub contractor, not their fault). The quality of their work was excellent, and they took time at the end of the job to clean up. I would recommend them without hesitation

I found SNK Roofing on the Which? Trusted Traders, and contacted Gary, Director of SNK Roofing. Gary's quote was not the cheapest, but I felt that he was very knowledgeable, straightforward and genuine, and that he really cared about delivering the best outcome for his clients. The quote was for a completely new roof, insulation, replacement of all timber, flashing, repointing on the chimney and parapet walls, new felt on the flat roof, new roof/tiles on the dormer, replacement and painting of guttering and downpipes. Gary arranged the scaffolding and once work commenced, he kept me informed on progress and he also gave me options on materials to use which were more cost efficient for me. While working on my roof, Gary saw that the parapet walls were dangerously high and on one side, the wall was cracked and moving. Gary did a video of the wall, with a commentary on the damage and repairs that were needed. I sent the video to my neighbour, who quickly gave consent for the repairs to be done. Gary and his team kept disruption to a minimum, they were polite and friendly, and worked really well together as a team. They observed safety precautions while on the roof, and at the end of the day, cleaned up after themselves. I found the whole experience totally stress free. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SNK Roofing Ltd for any roofing service job, they were simply outstanding. They did such an amazing job and I'm delighted that my home looks completely transformed!

S N K roofing have done several jobs for us. I manage rental properties and need reliable honest people to work with. Communication with Gary is friendly and reliable. He starts the job when he says he’s going to, gets it done with photographs of the progress made and finishes on time. He even organised scaffolding and the required council licence for the work. He prices are competitive too. We will continue to use S N K as he need arises.

The job: repair to damaged pitched roof on Victorian terraced house, including repairs to tiles, lead flashing, pointing, gutters and fascias. Gary was helpful and straightforward at every stage, from his first visit. He discussed options and issues with us and was understanding and flexible. The work was completed quickly and professionally, leaving everything tidy afterwards. I would definitely employ Gary and his team again, and would recommend SNK to friends. There are many fake reviews around - so beware. Gary is for real - not quite the guy to show up in a suit (when you meet him you will know what I mean), but I do recommend him.

In my opinion SNK Roofing are the perfect example of Trusted Traders. Totally honest and straightforward, highly skilled, hard working, always responding quickly to all queries, considerate of neighbours, and our painters and great value for money. I found Gary, Charlie and their team after I had had an astronomic quote from a con man who told me we needed a whole new roof because it was on the verge of collapse. Gary told me that there was nothing wrong with the roof and only needed replacement of cracked, slipped and eroded tiles. They also renewed the flat roof over our front bay. We were having all exterior paintwork done at the same time, by an excellent team, and Gary arranged extra scaffolding through his regular scaffolders; Devlin’s, who were also excellent and good value. We also discovered that we needed the house needed repointing and Gary agreed to do this while the scaffolding was there. I was impressed with the way they took great care to keep the newly painted areas clean and free of dust and worked very well with the painters They always cleaned up meticulously. Our house is not only well protected from the elements it also looks great. Neighbours and strangers have commented on the excellent pointing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

True traditional professional workmanship, in their planning, approach and finished product. A pleasure to work with from start to completion of the job. Gary and Charlie do not subcontract out work but do it all themselves, so, you might have to wait your turn, once they have assessed and maybe stabilised your roof but you can rest assured, that their standards of workmanship are the very highest and totally worth waiting for. In a world currently filled with rogues who will quote you but then send round any standard of a subcontractor who you’ve probably never met in an effort to maximise profits, SNK will always supply their own, long-established standards of expertise and professionalism. Thoroughly recommended - from someone who spent two months looking hard for a roofer that could be trusted.

Gary and Charlie were a pleasure to deal with. Prompt, friendly, happy to discuss the job and offer advice as to what was (and wasn't) needed. Arranged great scaffolders (Devlins), completed the work on time and as per quote, even took on some unexpected additional work while on site (quoted and agreed on the day). Excellent workmanship - very happy with everything and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Gary replaced our roof after it was left in a terrible state by some cowboy roofers. Gary was great throughout, he was communicative, polite and friendly. The roof is fantastic now and you can tell it has been done to an extremely high standard. I would recommend Gary and his firm without a doubt.

Gary and Charlie were the best tradesmen you could want once the job was started. They worked quietly and efficiently and nothing phazed them, even having to manipulate their house-size ladders through my window to access the site. They were so considerate of my house that I I could hardly tell they were there but when I did meet one of them they were always cheery and nice to have around. I was given excellent photos of the chimney, before and after work and of the finished flashing on my roof. Both jobs looked terrific and I have waited for rain before writing this. Nothing happened, no leak! Clearing up after the job was immaculate and so far, I am totally satisfied. Gary has assured me that if I should not be at any time then I am to get back in touch. I think the only time I might be in touch is if I need anything else done on my roof as I wouild definitely go back to SNK.
