We recently moved to Suffolk and needed to have quite a bit of work done to our house and garage roofs, including treating the tiles, replacing the fascias, soffits and guttering. Simon was easily the most impressive person we contacted (we reached out to c. 10), coming to provide a quote in a timely manner, and demonstrating his professionalism from the very first moment. Based on this, we were convinced he was the right man for the job. As such, we scheduled the work. He was also very accommodating with dates. Simon arrived promptly every day, was always polite, and worked tirelessly; often around the rainy weather. He was extremely trustworthy, carrying out some work when we were on holiday. Throughout the job, he provided us with photos of what he was doing. Needless to say, we are more than happy with the finished work and Simon is top of our list, should we need any more work done.

Simon repaired our chimney stack and replaced our old broken tiles recently. He inspected our roof and reassured us the whole roof didn’t need replacing. Our roof is old and had been leaking for some time it’s completely watertight now thanks to Simon's great work. He is efficient professional and very reasonably priced. Whilst he was here he cleared our gutters too with no extra cost. We would highly recommend Simon 100% it’s reassuring to know a first-class tradesman living close by. We will definitely use Simons's services again.

Simon has solved a long standing problem with the leaking roof of my large summerhouse. The roof is ultra flex and lead and it was hard to identify where it was leaking. He did not take the expensive option of replacing, but determined to find the source of the problem, which he did. He is knowledgeable and reliable and reasonably priced. Simon, you succeeded where others have failed! Thank you!

We had to have a large section of roof re-tiled. Also we had roof soft-wash due to moss problem. Simon and partner really did go above and beyond sorting out extra problems on the way. Prompt efficient service and we were very pleased and relieved to get problems sorted. It was like having Batman and Robin on the premises.

This was the first time that we had used Simon and will definitely be my 'go-to' roofer from now on. An excellent guy - very professional and friendly. He identified the issue that had been causing a leak on and off for a couple of years and the work completed swiftly. The roof had previously been looked at by two other roofers who always put it down to a slipped tile. It was in fact the result of inappropriate sized pieces of lead that had been there since the house was built in 1989. These were replaced with one larger piece - job done. Would absolutely recommend.

Simon arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. He swiftly set to work on re-leading my leaking roof light. I asked him about another problem I had with needing a small section of my fascia replaced and he was kind enough to shoot straight up the ladder and replace it. He went out of his way to help me, as he hadn't quoted for the additional work and didn't actually charge me any extra. I really appreciated him going above and beyond. I am very happy with his work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Simon came to our rescue after damage occurred to our 3 year old roof and the previous roofing company refused to honor our 30year guarantee. Simon has done many domestic jobs for me over several years. He is always very responsive and helpful at the assessment and investigation stage. He never fails to follow up on what is agreed and does the work to a high standard, thoroughly and as agreed. We moved to the area a year ago into an old renovation property, Simon has been out several times to help and always does a fantastic job, he is friendly, quick and always goes out of his way to help. I would highly recommended him, he fixed both of our chimney stacks for us, capping off and replacing cowling, provided quotes and advice for our roof which was in ill repair and has helped us with some internal damp problems related to this as well. We recently moved into a bungalow near Bury St Edmunds. The property was a probate sale, and had been unoccupied for about a year. Simon Nash came in to give us an estimate for the roof work that our surveyor suggested needed to be done. He was shown around by our estate agent as we were all in Covid 19 Lockdown and were unable to visit the property ourselves. He estimated for repairing the roof lining, cleaning a very large amount of moss from the roof, and installing new guttering throughout. He wasn’t able to start straightaway after we moved in, as there was a considerable amount of bushes, ivy, and climbing plants growing on the walls of the bungalow which had to be dealt with by a tree surgeon. Once this was done Simon quickly made a start. He came when he said he would, and he and his colleague worked really hard. All the moss was removed, which was considerable, and the roof was washed and treated to stop it coming back. They then replaced all of the guttering which upgraded the appearance of the bungalow by 100%. They cleaned all of the soffits which were filthy, and even cleaned up to the high points on the eaves which was above and beyond what they were employed to do. Also Simon installed a weather vane for me at no extra charge. Simon came back the next day and repaired the roof lining. They were so pleasant and helpful, and all of the work was carried out to a high standard. I would recommend Simon Nash to anyone that needs roofing work done.

We are moving house and had a bad a review by a surveyor, which we knew to be inaccurate. We were told our roof was at the end of it's life and the tiles were too old and needed replacing, even though the tiles had been replaced relatively recently! We called Nash Roofing for a quote for the work we thought we needed doing. He arrived on time, thoroughly checked the roof and tiles, and categorically refuted the surveyors claims. He was polite and extremely knowledgeable, completely honest, and would not take payment for his visit. I would honestly recommend him to anyone.

I had a bad leak in my bungalow lobby roof. A friend recommended Simon so I gave him a call. He came out the next day to take a look and forwarded a quote via email. It was very clear what work was covered and it included an additional sum if the actual roofing boards needed replacing. I felt the quote was very reasonable so I agreed via email and Simon came within a few days when the weather was suitable. A very professional job was done and the additional work was not required. Simon explained what he was doing and showed me the problem. A very likeable professional guy who I would have no problem recommending to others.

Simon helped us out of a hole, when we had a very upset tenant with several leaks and the agents couldn't find a roofer. He remortared the ridge and despite the dreadful weather managed to get there sooner than expected. The cost was as agreed and everything that was promised was done. A very good experience.

I was happy to have found Simon. He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Which is reassuring when you have a leaking roof. The price he charged was very reasonable. Especially when a previous quote from another company, included the price of scaffolding. This would have been totally unnecessary for the minor repair and maintenance needed. I would certainly contact Simon again if I have any future roofing problems.

Decided to build a large covered structure in the garden. Simon recommended Riven Style Slates which we found some surplus ones, finished of with New Terracotta Ridge Tiles which Simon kindly picked up from London. I found Simon to be a very friendly professional guy who knows his trade, looking forward to using him again on my next project.

Simon tiled the roof for our new oak framed porch. The spec was high and we needed a good tile finish to compliment it and Simon was well up to the task. His attention to detail and drive to give you the best result is second to none. Reliable, professional and knowledgeable, giving great advice to achieve the best outcome. Simon's done two jobs for me. The first time I had a number of roofers take a look to diagnose a leak and give a quote. I thought I was looking at replacing a load of roof felt and a very expensive repair. But then Simon arrived and spotted a broken tile and dodgy sealant. He fixed it quickly and for a great price. That was more than a year ago and we've had no more problems. The second time was just last week - small leak in the garage. Again, Simon identified the culprit as a leaky drainpipe. I suspect a less experienced roofer would have missed that and jumped into thinking that a far more expensive repair was required. Nice bloke too - he clearly wants to do a good job and not just take your money!

Simon was kind enough to discuss our roof problems while he was on holiday abroad. After visiting he quickly diagnosed the problems and was able to offer us solutions that other roofers had not offered, despite being a bit more tricksy but for less expense - i.e. his aim was clearly to repair and not to profit from us as his estimate was affordable and effective. He carried out the works with speed and professionalism, arriving on time and clearing up leaving no evidence of his visit. Happy to recommend him unreservedly.

Simon responded quickly to my initial request, and then turned up as agreed. He then quickly identified and fixed the broken tile, curing the leak. A small job, but done professionally and to time and budget. He also was very helpful in discussing our guttering issues, and in fact gave us advice that meant no work for him to address the issue. Would not hesitate to use again.

Simon Nash did a super job on the roof repair, he arrived when he said he would and left no mess etc. He also reassured me on some other roofing issues I had questions about, great guy easy to talk to and knew his stuff, I have kept his details just in case I need his services again, I'd be happy to recommend him based on the work he has done for me.

Telephoned Simon Friday 28th June 2019 reference a suspected leak from a previously broken tile which had been replaced. Simon arrived on the following day at the time agreed. He inspected the area of the roof and declared it watertight. He then investigated further and spent quite some time doing so and tracked the problem down to a faulty gutter and gave advice on the best method of repair. He refused payment for his time, declaring that he did not charge call out fees. First class service.

Having arranged a date and time for a visit to assess the situation for a quote, they failed to turn up and it took me to subsequently contact them the next day when I was told they had meant to contact me the previous evening (but didn't!). Subsequent attempts at communication from them were intermittent and confused so I gave up.

Simon arrannged to view the work very quickly and promptly sent out an estimate. The estimate was considerably cheaper than I had previously been quoted. The leaks have been an ongoing problem but Simon appears to have finally sorted out the issues. He also put my mind at rest when he came round and told me not to worry because the roof was not in as bad a state as had been suggested and that the leaks were not as damaging as I had been led to believe. His work was carried out swiftly and he was always very polite. I would recommend Simon without hesitation.

New gutters, fascias and soffits in plastic. Quote was detailed and included all necessary work. Work done very quickly as per quote. Very polite and efficient. Work done to an excellent standard and photographs emailed over.

I recently used S Nash roofing to clean moss from my roof. I had previously received ridiculous quotes from other companies. S Nash completed the task effectively, taking care to avoid any damage, turned up on time as promised, cleaned up very well afterwards and all at a very fair price. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and will happily use them again for any roof work required.

I sought an opinion from S Nash Roofing Ltd about some fascia/ soffit/ guttering work that another trader had completed on my home. Simon gave up his time free of charge to discuss my concerns on the phone and to reassure and advise me about the work that needs rectifying. His advice was most welcome, sincere and reassuring. Simon was recommended to me by another roofer. I needed a repair to the gully on the roof of my bungalow. As the property is occupied by tenants this repair was more urgent than it might have been. The job was done quickly and well with as little disturbance as possible. I now have happy tenants which is important to me.

I called Nash roofing after finding that my roof was letting in water. He arranged a convenient time to come round and assess the problem he gave me a quote. He carried out the repair at a later date and showed me some pictures of before and after which I found very helpful as I could then see exactly what was wrong with my roof (very good idea as I couldn't see from the floor.)
