I was cold called by some roofers who while "inspecting" my roof valley found that it needed repairing. They actually made it worse and tried to convince me that it would take at least two men half a day to fix. I didn't trust them and sent them away. I remembered using Simon many years ago and looked up his details. I contacted Simon who arrived with Ian. They assessed the job, fixed both valleys and replaced some missing/slipped tiles at the back. The job was completed properly within an hour and at an extremely reasonable price.

I engaged Simon to fit a new tiled roof to my house, new render and lead mastic to the chimney stack, and I’m very pleased that I did. Simon comes round and surveys the job, quotes for it, and does the actual work (with a colleague, Ian, for my job); it doesn’t get assigned to a work team as it might with a larger company. Simon is hard working, knows every aspect of roofing, is well organised in coordinating scaffolders, skips, liaising with building control, and takes a pride in delivering a good job. My new roof is a first class job and Simon took the trouble to correct the fit of the guttering, badly installed by another contractor, even though this wasn’t specified in estimate. He turns up when he says he will and gives his full attention to your job until it’s finished. And he’s very good and easy to deal with, very responsive to his customer. Based on my experience, I happily recommend Simon for roofing work.

Simon has been looking after our roof for a number of years, and in particular a flat roof which he replaced, quickly and efficiently, last year. Simon provides honest advice and is quite happy to suggest maintenance work rather than advising complete roof replacement. The best thing of all, is that if you ring Simon, he calls you back. This is not common in the building industry in my experience and it makes any problem solving with the roof so much less stressful. I highly recommend him.

Simon's replacement of a flat roof was promptly and tidily executed with minimal fuss. He provided on line pictures of the roof before and after the work was done. It is hard to comment on pricing as work of this kind is rarely commissioned by us but it seemed reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Mr Nash replaced an existing skylight with a new Velux window, sorted out some pointing on our chimneys and fitted new chimney pots. He was courteous and efficient and did all the work in less than a day. He looked over the rest of the roof, took photos and explained that a couple of small areas needed attention. His final bill was less than his estimate and his estimate was less than two other quotes we had. I would highly recommend Mr Nash.

After discovering a leak in my roof I called S NASH roofing, who promptly came to have a look and assess the repair to which he then quoted me a reasonable price and carried out the work, no problems. He's seems a very genuine chap who cares about his work, I would highly recommend and will definitely use again if needed.

He attended our property and gave a very honest opinion at a reasonably priced job. I called Simon Nash and two other reputable roofers to deal with the aftermath of a house side and loft extension done by cowboys. Simon was prompt to quote, competitive (but not unrealistic) on pricing, very helpful to get to the bottom of a raft of issues and make the most of a difficult job of remedial work. He had to clear away and reconstruct (re-timber, re-lead, and re-slate) a side return roof and box gutter, pull various areas of poor slate roofing back and re-lead. He also helped document the failings for a court case. I felt that he was a conscientious and efficient roofer and the new kitchen roof is a proper job, night and day from what we had been left with.
