I was cold called by some roofers who while "inspecting" my roof valley found that it needed repairing. They actually made it worse and tried to convince me that it would take at least two men half a day to fix. I didn't trust them and sent them away. I remembered using Simon many years ago and looked up his details. I contacted Simon who arrived with Ian. They assessed the job, fixed both valleys and replaced some missing/slipped tiles at the back. The job was completed properly within an hour and at an extremely reasonable price.

I engaged Simon to fit a new tiled roof to my house, new render and lead mastic to the chimney stack, and I’m very pleased that I did. Simon comes round and surveys the job, quotes for it, and does the actual work (with a colleague, Ian, for my job); it doesn’t get assigned to a work team as it might with a larger company. Simon is hard working, knows every aspect of roofing, is well organised in coordinating scaffolders, skips, liaising with building control, and takes a pride in delivering a good job. My new roof is a first class job and Simon took the trouble to correct the fit of the guttering, badly installed by another contractor, even though this wasn’t specified in estimate. He turns up when he says he will and gives his full attention to your job until it’s finished. And he’s very good and easy to deal with, very responsive to his customer. Based on my experience, I happily recommend Simon for roofing work.

Simon has been looking after our roof for a number of years, and in particular a flat roof which he replaced, quickly and efficiently, last year. Simon provides honest advice and is quite happy to suggest maintenance work rather than advising complete roof replacement. The best thing of all, is that if you ring Simon, he calls you back. This is not common in the building industry in my experience and it makes any problem solving with the roof so much less stressful. I highly recommend him.

Simon's replacement of a flat roof was promptly and tidily executed with minimal fuss. He provided on line pictures of the roof before and after the work was done. It is hard to comment on pricing as work of this kind is rarely commissioned by us but it seemed reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend him.
