BOILER NOT WORKING
I used SOS Plumbing Limited after recommendation from a neighbour. Their engineer arrived as the boiler had not been firing up and I was having to use the reset button. It appeared to be OK on his visit but I had the same problem a couple of days later. I rang SOS, the same engineer came out promptly and the bearing plate and electrodes have now been replaced as he suspected would be necessary if the problem persisted. The boiler is now working properly, thank goodness in this very cold weather. I have found SOS very helpful in sorting out the problem and would recommend them.

Great Service
This is the second time I have used SOS Plumbing and have been extremely pleased with the service they have provided. Most recently I had 2 dripping/leaking radiator valves, a simple job, or so I thought. The job was more complicated but Freddie the plumber that attended, sorted it all out without any drama, arrived on time and was courteous. I would definately use SOS again for any more plumbing jobs that crop up and would recommend wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

Had a new boiler fitted this week by SOS plumbing and heating engineers Macclesfield. Excellent workmanship. Had issues with the meter which they dealt with very efficiently. Would definitely recommend.

We had our new boilers from SOS and were so impressed with the quality of their workmanship and general professionalism, that we decided to engage with their annual service schedule. We have not been disappointed at all; the communications are always timely,the engineers are informative and a pleasure to have in the house. New boiler installation
I’ve had a service contract with SOS for about 15 years. I cannot fault them. The staff are always punctual, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. In the past, when my boiler has required parts, they offer heaters and blankets while waiting. Last Friday, my 18-year-old boiler finally packed up and a new boiler was installed on the Monday. The two guys who installed the new boiler were both friendly and professional and worked hard throughout the day. They explained the system to me and I couldn’t be happier with the service and new boiler. Very competitive quote and invoice matched this. I’m the envy of friends and colleagues who have contracts with others eg British Gas etc who can’t believe the service I get and wish they lived in the area! I couldn’t recommend them enough. My father in law and friend both recommended them to me so I think to maintain their standard for so long speaks volumes.

When I first contacted them the earliest date they could offer for a non-urgent job was the following week. In the event they contacted me two days later to say they could fit me in the following day so the job was efficiently completed well before the originally offered appointment. Can’t praise SOS enough! The office took my call and booked me in with an engineer. The engineer came to my house, quickly identified the issue with my Worcester Bosch boiler and the office gave authorisation for him to proceed with the work. Within about an hour the boiler was repaired and serviced. And 2 months on I am pleased to say the boiler is working perfectly! Thank you team!

Our old boiler packed up last week. During the recent spell of freezing weather, speed was of the essence to replace it and SOS certainly delivered. They even provided temporary electric fan heaters to help us out. The price was definitely competitive. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Phoned late morning with a toilet that was emptying its cistern (thankfully clean water) into the kitchen below. Given a 2pm til 4pm slot same day and engineer arrived by 2pm. Great guy. Very helpful and problem solved within 20 mins. Impressed.

"Tracy and Angela were amazing, when they said they would ring me back they did every time, they listened to my concerns regarding the draining of the water cylinder, they were helpful , efficient and patient with me. I do worry a lot, they were very kind. The heating engineer arrived at the given time, he was polite and reassuring, he put my mind to rest, and did a very efficient job.
