My house needed to have electrical work to meet the required safety standards. Mr Crunden (Stuart) gave a prompt and detailed explanation of initial work that needed doing and was also transparent that, given the age of the property, there would be a likelihood of some further work once the initial masterboard was fitted and tested. Throughout the work Mr Crunden and his son were friendly, professional, punctual and kept me informed of any developments. The work was done to a high standard and the final bill was fair with full explanation. I also received all paperwork/certifications I needed very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to friends.

Stuart & John installed a bathroom extractor fan for me. They did a very good job by preparing the space for it to be installed as we didn't have one previously. They sorted out the electrics and left the bathroom looking good as new when they finished. From the initial visit to review what I wanted to the finished job, they have talked through with me what I wanted, what they could do for me, giving me a quote and a date they could do the work. Our work involved a single-storey extension at ground floor level and an ensuite extension at first-floor level. The electrical installation was not straightforward as the cable runs had to go at a high level through the existing house out into the extension. Crunden's kept us fully informed throughout the work, advising on how the work would take place, and the areas they will be working in. The timescales varied as they had to fit in working with the other trades, therefore timing was crucial, to avoid holding up the project. When it came to completing the work, a fault was identified (created by others) resulting in part of the ceiling and wall being removed. Crunden's identified the approximate location of the fault, leaving us with a relatively small hole to fill and make good. The electrical work we had carried out was first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending S R Crunden Electrical Contractors for all types of electrical work.

Full rewiring of property carried out to a competent and professional standard. Good communication of daily tasks to be undertaken. All electricians working on-site were extremely polite and friendly and tidied up at the end of each working day. A job well done, many thanks.

We recently had our consumer unit replaced and some other remedial works are done to ensure we could pass a safety test by this firm. They completed the works in a day with minimal disruption to our lives and the certificate came through nice and quick so we were able to pass it on to our buyers. The contractors were polite, tidy and friendly and took time to explain what they were doing, and why. The work was also competitively priced against some other quotes we received. Would recommend

SR Crunden were able to attend to emergency repairs after a lightening strike knocked my electrics out, they then returned to reinstate external cabling and controls to a shed, including security light The work was carried out by Matt, who was courteous, clean and did a brilliant job. He checked with me to ensure points etc were where I needed them. He cleared up and removed all debris after. I was recommended to this company by a friend"s electrician as he couldn't do the work due to a full book. The quote given for the repair work was spot on. I didn't have a budget as it was an insurance claim..I have no benchmark for electrical work to compare prices.
