We had both a mouse and rat problem both of which I’m terrified of! We found Scott on Trusted Trader and chose him as he had such good reviews. He got back to me within 15 minutes and arrived the same afternoon. Due to my phobia I was extremely upset over the situation, but Scott put me at ease by assuring me that the problem could be sorted out and not to worry. Sure enough after three visits the issue has been resolved. This was on schedule and to the price agreed. Scott is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. I could not recommend him and S&S Pest Control highly enough.

My wife & I have been shielding for a year so were appalled to realise we had a pest problem. We called Scott who had efficiently sorted out a problem for us some years ago. He got the picture immediately, came quickly, explained what he had found by phone from outside the house to help keep us safe, & undertook phase 1 of a 3 part eradication programme which was delivered & charged as promised & was successful. Both he & his service are smart, discreet & thoughtful & he has also advised us about how to prevent a recurrence. We would certainly use him again if we had another problem.

A few cockroaches had been seen on a couple of occasions. As set out in the schedule, Glen visited 3 times and administered 3 different types of treatment (gel, spray and trap) in appropriate locations. We were charged as per the price predicted. Glen explained what he was doing and why, and was at all times courteous and helpful. S & S is not the cheapest pest control service out there, but certainly appears to be most thorough. If they reappear I'll phone S & S without hesitation, but I don't expect I'll need to. I don't hesitate to recommend this service.

I had pigeons roosting and contracted Scott for an estimate to install bird spikes which was done very efficiently and a written quote provided. Job carried out to a very high standard and area left clean and pigeon free. Great communication throughout and a pleasure to deal with.

We asked Scott to address a problem we had with rats in our garden. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the subject and gave us some great advice. He attended with a day of calling him and within a few weeks, we no longer saw rats in the garden. Communication was excellent throughout and Scott was on time for every appointment. Overall I’d highly recommend Scott and will definitely be in touch again if we need anything further.

I have used S&S twice now. Originally for my elderly and vulnerable parents (which is why I particularly used a Which Trusted Trader) and then latterly for a moth infestation I had in my own home. They have solved both problems efficiently and effectively. They are easy to contact, pleasant, provide a timescale and a price, and then do exactly what they say they will do. They might not have been the cheapest but the price was appropriate and value for money. What more could anyone want in a pest control service!

This is the second time that I have used S & S Pest control Service. The first about three years ago for mice in the garage and the last of three visits, within the service on Tuesday 19th October. I was pleased to hear that the mice had taken the bate and were no longer present. The risk is in not acting early enough and don’t wish the pests to enter the house so on that basis have taken out a contract for regular checkups. Prices are clearly stated verbally and conformed by e-mail and invoice. The communication with Scott the proprietor was excellent. I’m very pleased with the service and do not hesitate to give a good recommendation.

Removed old bird's nest and dormant wasp's nest from the side of the loft in the eaves. It was a pleasure dealing with S & S Pest Control. They were thorough and helpful-clearly explained work to be done and kept me updated. The property is empty and they collected the keys from my estate agent-saving me a trip! We recently moved into a house and had our first experience of rodents in the loft. The noises left us feeling very anxious. We contacted Scott who, from our very first conversation, immediately put us at ease, and we felt very confident he would resolve the problem. He has a brilliant manner and obvious vast experience of dealing with rodents. He put together a plan over several weeks and involved 3 visits. I had a mouse problem in the house and Scott came to assess the situation, he set baited traps mouse proofed the exterior of the house and checked everything quarterly.
