About
We are a family run business with over 45 years experience working in North, West, South Yorkshire and the Humberside areas; dealing with all types of gas work, including LPG (domestic and mobile). We use our own engineers and plumbers who are fully qualified and apprentice trained.
We can provide up to 12 year manufacturers warranties with all new boiler installations.

We have used ST Plumbing for about 10 years for a complete heating installation (and removing the old one) and for maintenance. When we moved house recently we asked the Harrogate company that had been servicing the heating system to check some issues. They were hopeless. One visit from Dan and the problems were sorted. ST is a good company with good staff that do good work for a fair price.

Plumber came and fixed a leaking pipe which was concealed in the ceiling under the floorboards. Was very pleasant and professional located the affected pipes quickly and the problem. Fixed the issue effectively and the work was completed in the time that was quoted from the initial inspection.

The standard of work that Dan and his team do is the best I have known. Over the years we have engaged many plumbers and at last we have found one that is reliable, organised and works to a very high quality. Initially I thought the prices were a little high but when you see the end results, it is definitely value for money. Dan has installed new underfloor heating, run gas lines into our garden, installed a new shower room, reconfigured all our hot water system, and updated a smart remote system to all our radiators. Thank heaven for Dan!!!!!

S T Plumbing have been helping me in all aspects of Plumbing and Heating since I inherited a German Boiler when I purchased the house in 2011. They were the only company of many I tried, who would maintain the older boiler. Eventually I needed a new boiler and they were the best Quote for the new product. Now they service and maintain my gas central heating system and perform any plumbing jobs (new utility facilities, new toilet & sink, many taps & radiator controls). Most important they prioritise their regular clients if problems do occur. They are my friendly, trustworthy safety net !

I contacted ST Plumbing & Heating following a recommendation as I required a replacement boiler for my rental property. From the outset the communications were clear and prompt, very open and honest. A survey was completed and a detailed quote with a breakdown of items provided. The quote was very reasonable and I proceeded with the work. The work was completed on time and to an excellent standard. My tenants reported that the attention to detail was excellent. We had a leak in our kitchen on Thursday morning, I called them and was on the phone to a lovely lady who was prompt in getting an engineer to us. The job turned into a nightmare as there was no stop tap for our house so the engineer had to leave, whilst Yorkshire water dug a hole, capped the pipe and put in a stop cock. The engineer returned and has done a fantastic job. He was polite and explained everything. I was dreading the bill and when I received it I couldn’t believe how reasonably priced they were. We are saving up for a new boiler and bathroom and I won’t hesitate to have them back out to do that. Highly recommend.

They were called out to sort out a problem with my control panel which a previous company couldn't do when asked by my insurance company. The person who answered the phone was very polite and made me feel confident they could sort it out. Dan came and assessed the problem did a temporary fix so I had central heating and hot water, then returned after authorisation from the insurance company and completed the job. Excellent service.

Only a boiler service this time, but these very good heating and plumbing experts have fix. Fitted and renewed all sorts of bits in this house tested to the max at times (I have been known to throw bits out of the window if I'm a little annoyed ) New boiler, retile cloakroom floor, new gas fire, revamp en-suite . I could go on but it would be boring. Give them a call.

We'd had nothing but trouble with our central heating and hot water for years. Countless call outs from British Gas only ever seemed to solve the problem for a few weeks. Dan and his team came and did a thorough diagnosis, re-designed the system and solved the problems. I asked these guys for my annual gas inspection which was done efficiently. I also had two leaking taps and they came and replaced both taps and didn't charge the earth. I would recommend this company for doing any plumbing work.
