Great help in selecting windows and doors. No hard sell, sold on being local and many years of experience which I liked.Started and finished when they said they would, also didn’t leave a pile of rubbish to clear up each day and the installation was trouble free.

Samson's fitted windows in both our bathroom and toilet, in addition they also fitted a canopy over the back door. Everything was well done and with no problems and was entirely to our satisfaction. They also provided a 10 year guarantee and insurance cover for their work. I would happily use them at any time in the future.

Jim and Barry installed lounge and bedroom windows with the utmost skill, professionalism and care for my 93 yo Mum. In very cold conditions they made sure she was OK all through the process. Their attention to detail and the quality of their workmanship and windows supplied was superb. Both of us are very happy with everything.

From the meeting with Jim Jackson all the way through to installation, the communication was open and honest, which made us confident that we had chosen the right company. OMgosh .... These guys are incredible ..!!! I had all the windows in my house replaced. It was 13 windows, patio door and front door replacement. From start to finish Jim was amazing. Always checking I was happy, willing to give time for decision and providing thoughts and invaluable experience to ensure the best for my property. Windows are a big decision. The workmanship of Jim and Barry is outstanding and they completed the whole job within a week. There was minimal disruption, clean, tidy, always on time and what a amazing result without damage internally or externally to my home. We recently had twenty two windows and a door replaced by Samson windows. Once we had met him and listened to his expert advice, we were confident that Samson Windows were the right company for us. Jim (Samson Windows) was recommended to me by a relative who in turn got Jims details from a neighbour. The hardest part was getting Jim round to quote, he's always busy. When he came to quote, he fixed my patio doors whilst he was here. His guidance during the quotation process helped me to finalise my requirements with practical suggestions. The cost of the work is very competitive and once agreed Jim gave an installation date and kept to it. The work was completed with no fuss and the end result and quality of the products was excellent. I expected this due to this being the experience of those who recommended him. The follow up paperwork and guarantees all arrived as promised. Totally satisfied.

We first saw Jim and Barry installing windows on our neighbours house. I asked Jim If he could put a replacement Patio door and back door in for me, Jim measured up explained the options of the different products that were available, it was a friendly and comfortable visit without being pushy. The doors were fitted without problems, We were very happy with the patio door but especially the back door due to the design it made a vast difference to the kitchen. Both Barry and Jim were polite and from first contact we knew we could trust that a good job was going to be done, and was done to a high standard, They tided up after themselves and we didn't have to do anything after they had finished, and would highly recommend Samson Windows to anyone.

We have recently had 5 windows replaced at the front of our property by Jim and colleague from Samson Windows. The finish is excellent, the care they took during the installation was very reassuring and the extra attention to detail with regard to suggesting black sills and then painting black the sills on windows we hadn't replaced at no extra charge sets them above other tradesmen we have used.

Jim was a pleasure to deal with and the quality of his work is exceptional. He clearly knows his business very well and was also able to offer useful advice for other tasks I wanted to do myself. Highly recommended.

Felt I had to write a positive review as we recently used Samson for the second time and each time we have been impressed by their customer service and end result. The first occasion we had doors fitted and more recently windows. In both instances Jim took the time to talk us through the various options and left us feeling confident we had made the right decision. Both jobs were completed on the day agreed and within the estimated timescale. We are very happy with our new doors and windows and would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

We recently needed to replace eight windows and a front door. Samson Windows were recommended to us and we were delighted with the quality of the product, their workmanship and the overall cost. From the start, the process was very straightforward. Jim came and discussed options with me (socially distanced, of course) to replace most of the windows in my house. He then measured up for a quote, which arrived extremely quickly. Both Jim and his assistant were punctual, and pleasingly, the work was finished in slightly less time than predicted. All work was carried out a professional and tidy manner, and completed to a very high standard. We are delighted with our new windows. A professional job from start to finish. Jim helped a lot with design ideas etc... which was helpful as we were planning a move from old wooden windows to smart new uPVC frames with an external anthracite grey finish. We are very pleased with the final result. The windows are great quality and have stopped our condensation problems (helped by going for the trickle vent option). We are waiting to order some more for the side of the house.

We had windows installed about 10 years ago and during that period had new doors (front/ back) done as well. The quality of the work and Jim's customer service is second to none. Today, I had a problem with one of the door locks and called Jim. He managed to come round at short notice and quickly resolved the problem without charging me. Absolutely superb.

Jim Jackson replaced two back bedroom windows. It wasn’t an easy job owing to the age of the house and the fit of the original windows. The new windows look super and the sound insulation they give is a bonus. A professional job and would highly recommend Samson windows.

Jim and team were fantastic in the installation of 10 windows including 1x three sided bay window and 2 doors, at a really competitive rate. Really knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting different options we could consider for our door size and styles. Can’t believe how the new doors and windows have transformed our house, couldn’t be happier. Jim’s pride in his work and attention to detail was clearly evident: he even surprised us by using a colour matching sealant for our front door. Really accommodating with install date and couldn’t believe how quickly they completed the job, to such a high standard while ensuring they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. We asked Jim to pop round to give us a quote to replace 7 sash windows. From the moment we met Jim, we felt he wasn't trying to sell us windows, he was showing us the possibilities and the workings of the windows he installs. We could tell from the off-set that Jim took great pride in what he does and knows is stuff. We went ahead with Jim and wasn't disappointed. Our windows look great, inkeeping with our Victorian house and even the window cleaner commented on how well they have been fitted. We are now using Jim to fit a new front door and another window. I highly recommend!

Samson Windows replaced all our windows (11 including two large bays) and doors (two standard and French windows which Jim designed especially to suit the style of the house) in August 2011. The service was excellent, his team are great and always prepared to do that little bit extra to make sure you are completely satisfied. Five years on everything looks as good, and works as well, as it did when it was first installed. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was very happy with the advice given on French window/door design, the quality of the doors fitted and the fast and efficient fitting. I am delighted with my decision to use Samson Windows for replacement windows and doors. Excellent advice was offered during the survey stage in terms of the various options available and subtleties in terms of direction of door openings, number of glass panels etc. A realistic price was quoted from the outset, avoiding the need for pointless negotiation. The fitters were very competent and did an excellent, tidy job. The product itself is of a very high quality. All of the staff are great to deal with. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this company, and would not hesitate to use them again in future. I will be recommending them to friends and colleagues etc. whenever the opportunity arises.
