We recently moved house and commenced a program of modernisation work, Phase 1 of which included replacement of the electrical distribution board, installation of new boiler controls, and the re-construction of an internal wall. First and foremost as an Electrical Contractor they attended to carry out a costing survey for the electrical works only, however it quickly became evident during our discussions that included recommendations of equipment, materials and methodology of work that they had the full range of skills to complete each task. Subsequently costs were agreed and all the works were commenced. Replacement of the electrical distribution board proved to be more difficult than anticipated owing to existing circuitry issues which only became evident with the installation of a modern distribution board. Demonstrating a high degree of experience, technical ability and professionalism they resolved each problem and we experienced no prolonged loss of power or services at any time during the work. Notwithstanding the above all the works were completed within the agreed time frames and budget. The range of self delivered services available really does make SB Electrical Contractors & Building Services Ltd stand alone as a one-stop solution to building and renovation works and without doubt is their Unique Selling Point. We have no hesitation in recommending this company and fully intend to use them again as our preferred Electrical & Building Contractor.

I had not used Simon before, but was so glad I did. Before I purchased the radiators, at my request Simon came to my home to check what I was intending to buy and the location of where I wanted the radiators situated. He was extremely helpful in talking through the work required and pros and cons of which walls would be best for their location. He was extremely polite and completed the job with minimal disruption, leaving only a small amount of touching up of the paintwork to be completed. I have no hesitation recommending Simon and would be very happy to use his services again.

Mr Berlanga (Szymon) performed a review of the electrics in my house following which he then completed the necessary revisions in order to provide an electrical certification. I was extremely impressed by Szymon’s professionalism. He provided me a very fair appraisal The work was then completed promptly with no delays. Given the time he invested to do the work I consider the cost was very reasonable. Szymon is a delightful and cultivated person. He is very helpful and voluntarily fixed some other things in the house for me when he saw that they were broken. I highly recommend Mr Szymon Berlanga.

Simon, did electrical work and EICR reports for 2 properties I rent out. He was knowledgeable courteous and liaised with tenants making it very easy. He presented ideas, options, and completed both jobs to mine and the tenants satisfaction. I would be happy to recommend his services and use again.

This review is for the most recent job, which was a re-plaster of a hallway, repairs to stairs and installation of under stairs storage. While the project over-ran a bit due to some issues, a lot of this was to do with the old property, and my wife and I are very pleased with the end result. I hired Simon originally as an Electrician to fix up some plug sockets 5 years ago, since then he has been invaluable for general property maintenance, building advice and even teaching me how to do basic jobs / mix mortar so I can handle the small stuff myself.

I've used SB Electrical Contractors & Building Services Ltd a couple of times now and have been more than happy with the work and service provided. Simon is polite, on time and reasonably priced. I felt I got quality work and he's a pleasure to have around. I'll use his services again and would highly recommend him to others.

Simon did an amazing job renovating my flat. it was a mess and he turned it into a beautiful and safe flat. He's highly skilled in a wide range of building trades and worth every penny. he is reasonably priced, polite and reliable. Can't recommend Simon enough

I can highly recommend Simon, who is an all rounder when it comes to fitting a kitchen, installing and safety checking electrics, plumbing both water and gas and replacing ceilings including plastering plus walls too! His pricing is competitive and he keeps to budget while being flexible to changes and agreeing to price additional work. A polite and friendly worker who keeps things tidy also. Thanks for the work to date and we will be asking Simon to do some additional electric work in 2017.

I enjoyed having Simon here as he was courteous and careful, able to advise where necessary, and got on with the job efficiently. He kept to the original estimate. I particularly valued the way he could do everything himself, including the plastering, which made timing easier. I have already asked him to quote for some more work.

Simon has completed three electrical tasks for me and laid a new wooden floor and Skirtings. I am more than happy with his work, his prices and his customer service. It is difficult to find such good tradespeople and I will be using his services again soon.
