We offer convenient one hour arrival slots to make things easy for you and all works are fully insured & guaranteed for 12 months.

What I like most is the fact I can pay my bill over the phone since I don't trust Internet banking and it saves me a trek into the town centre bank branch where I have to stand around in a long slow-moving queue. I have mobility problems and this is so quick and easy. The staff members are always friendly and polite. The tradesmen are quite chatty and give you good advice. They also have a nice sense of humour! Annual service of my boiler and a small repair carried out. I think there should be a discount for elderly and/or disabled clients and for quick payment. I don't think they are offered at present. A bit pricey.

When my gas supplier told me my boiler was beyond repair, Scott did a site survey within 4 days and I had a new boiler the next day. The cost was reasonable, all inclusive and clearly explained. Communication about the job from the office by phone, email and text was the best I’ve ever seen from any business. Scott Findlay’s engineer was skilled, courteous and friendly and demonstrated how everything worked. A builder was needed but this was also organised promptly by Scott, and checked up on to make sure their contractor had done a good job. Scott registered the manufacturer’s warranty for me and provided their own guarantee of their work. I recommend Scot Findlay unreservedly for end to end service, reasonably priced, courteous and efficient work, quick response and absolute reliability.

I recently used Scott Findlay for fitting a new boiler, and what a great service they provide. A very quick (next day) visit from one of their team and I had the full quote the following day (and it was the best price I had from four quotes). Their professional communication and constant updates were excellent and the service provided (Gerrard) was absolutely first class. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Had to have an old boiler replaced and my heating hadn’t been working for a while, I was really appreciative of the professionalism and kindness/willingness to help of everyone in the business. It was a big job and lots of people were in the house, all very courteous, respectful and did a great job - you would’ve never known they'd ever been here! Everything was perfect from start to finish and everything with the new boiler was checked thoroughly - so I have no issues with anything as a result. Will definitely be using this company for anything related going forward, your teams’ expertise and efficiency was greatly appreciated!

Old boiler was needing replaced for an elderly couple in their late 80’s. Claire took time to ensure this could be done with the least amount of upheaval to them. Cameron took the time to explain to my deaf mother what he was going to do. Mark worked quickly and left the area very clean. I can’t recommend them highly enough on the entire customer experience as well as the job completion.

We asked the trader to come and look at our house with a view to replacing the boiler.After the first meeting we then received the written quote and decided to accept this quote one of three.The work was to be carried out at the beginning of November and we were told that it would take 3 days,The trader had their workmen here early on the 31st October and worked hard to have the boiler installed and were complete by the 2nd November. They were very respectful and ensured there was damage to our house and they came across a problem re the pressure and discovered that there was not enough pressure in the house so had SGN here and came back on the 3rd to complete the job. Very pleased with the work and would recommend this firm without hesitation Magdalen Ogilvie

We chose Scott Findlay from a range of three invoices and are very happy with the choice we made. The work, which involved removing a twenty plus year old floor mounted boiler and putting in a new wall mounted one was carried out meticulously by Scott Findlay's employees, who were courteous, tidy and very hard working. The job took there days and we are delighted with the result. We are very happy to recommend Scott Findlay for this type of work.

The boiler supplies heating and hot water. It's an old system and was on its last legs. Scott Findlay pulled out all the stops to have the new system installed as soon as possible. The service was excellent and I can't recommend them enough for their work.

We had an emergency boiler issue in the run up to Christmas as a result of the cold weather. I contacted Claire at Scott Findlay and she was able to arrange someone to come and look at it within 48 hours. Unfortunately we needed a new boiler but thanks to the SF team it was fitted within the week and whilst we were on holiday so we returned to a warm house and a great new boiler. The communication from start to finish has been excellent - with emails and texts to confirm the timing of the work and then completion of the work. The boiler was a like for like replacement which the SF team sourced for me late on a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend SF to anyone looking for prompt, courteous, quality workmanship and outstanding service.

Scott Findlay have just installed a new combi boiler for us. That involved removing the old boiler, the water tank and decommissioning the cold water tank. We also had several new radiators installed. The job took 4 days; the engineers arrived at the expected time every day and worked without stopping all the time they were here! They were professional, friendly and helpful and communicated well at all stages. The quote for the job was accurate and information from the office was thorough and helpful. The engineers were very conscious of making the disruption (they were working in every room in the house) as minimal as possible and of leaving the system in as workable a way as they could when they left each evening. They also cleaned up after their work, which was much appreciated! The end result is wonderful, the system works perfectly and we are very pleased. I would recommend Scott Findlay without hesitation.

Extremely happy with their service. From the start, they've been honest about the cost we will ensure, they always arrived on time with text and email reminders sent prior to their engineers arriving and always follow up after the job was completed to ensure everything is fine with us. We had our boiler replaced. The two engineers were really professional, punctual, polite and very understanding with our son's special needs who gets upset with strangers in the house. I highly recommend Scot Findlay for their extremely professional and reliable service.

I used Scott Findlay Plumbing and Heating Ltd to remove a boiler and hot water tank, install a combi boiler in a different location and do various other smaller plumbing jobs. Their engineers did a great job on the timescale and at the cost agreed, they were pleasant to deal with and communicated well. The whole project was well managed and neatly and tidily executed. The customer care and communication is particularly impressive. The phone is answered quickly and by someone who knows what they are talking about. The quoting for work, scheduling visits, communicating with the customer and billing all run like clockwork. It is simply a very well run business.

Scott Findlay Ltd removed our old boiler and replaced it with a new Worcester Bosch boiler last week. We thought we were going to face two highly disruptive days - we are working at home due to the pandemic. This was not the case at all - it went so smoothly. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the engineer (Simon) who fitted the boiler, and other members of the company we dealt with to arrange the boiler replacement. From first contact with the company to the last (they checked to see how it was working after installation) the performance of their entire team was flawless, and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had our old, inefficient boiler replaced with an up to date Bosch boiler. Throughout, Scott Findlay did their best to accommodate our needs and were easily accessible to discuss the work to be done and when. They tried hard to fit us in to their schedule at a very busy time of the year and we are grateful for that - given the then sudden drop in temperature. The work has now been completed and we are very satisfied with the result. Throughout our dealings with Scott Findlay, we have been impressed with their professionalism in all aspects of our contact with them and would recommend them unreservedly.

I asked Scott Findlay to install a new boiler for me after my old boiler was found to be unfit to use. They were helpful, courteous and turned up on time when they were supposed to do so.
