Prompt professional service. I highly recommend them for their competent workforce unlike another the other firm of plumbers who scratched their head and came up with the genius solution that our leak was “a mystery”. This prompted me to look up Which Trusted Traders and find Scott Findlay plumbing & Heating Ltd. Their bill was reasonable too. Claire took charge of co ordinating the plumber works and joinery works as I live some 150 miles away and that’s what I call going the extra mile! I’ve got this firm on speed dial should I require their services in the future.

Scott came and gave a very fair quote and even talked me out of unnecessarily upgrading to a bigger, more expensive boiler. David installed over 3 days and replaced 3 radiators. All done very tidily, efficiently and with the minimum of hassle - even made sure we had heating when the temperature dropped to -5 overnight, Have since been back to fix 2 other plumbing issues, Would not hesitate to recommend.

I was very pleased with all aspects of Scott Findlay Ltd's work and customer service. The initial assessment for new boiler installation was very helpful, especially as I have an awkward kitchen. The quote was a good price and there were no unexpected extras, I was kept well-informed at all points. The work was done promptly, the new boiler has a long guarantee and all was fitted with no mess or fuss. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them.

We have had an excellent service from all the team at Scott Findlay, from the office staff to the engineers. Everyone is very efficient and friendly, and I have been most impressed by the quality of their service and clear communications. Our initial job for Scott Findlay was to install a new boiler and radiators, and to have an old boiler flue removed and the roof made good. While their quote might have seemed slightly more expensive than others, in reality they were able to deliver exactly what we wanted, including a Worcester boiler with 10-year guarantee and removing the old flue and fixing the roof. In addition, Scott Findlay offer a finance option, which is extremely helpful for spreading the cost of a large piece of work. From quote to completion, I can't fault the service. The engineers arrived on time, were friendly and tidy, cleaned up after themselves, and got the work done in the time specified. I have already gone on to use Scott Findlay a number of times for other services and will definitely use them again in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My initial query was answered promptly by Claire Findlay and I can only agree with all the 5 star reviews this company has. Claire was helpful and informative and helped me choose ‘best option’. Kenny arrived promptly for my appointment, completed the necessary work and did not leave until he checked everything was fine. Place left spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this firm.

Scott Findlay have just replaced our 23 year old boiler which they have kept functioning for us over the last 5 years with a modern condensing boiler.This required replacing the incoming gas pipe from the meter in the garden through the depth of the house to the boiler site at the back and we were very apprehensive about the likely disruption. We knew from past experience that they would do a professional job, but this was more complicated and involved several other trades. The main gas engineer, Cameron worked like a Trojan for three days and all the others involved arrived to schedule and each one did a first class job. Our house and garden were fully restored and all rubble and old equipment removed. Just to mention the before and after-we appreciated Scott coming out the week before to go through what we could expect and have always found Claire and the office staff To be both friendly and efficient.

I asked Scott Findlay to install a new boiler for me after my old boiler was found to be unfit to use. They were helpful, courteous and turned up on time when they were supposed to do so. They did an excellent job with the minimum of disruption and I found them a please to use. I would certainly use them again and recommend them highly.

We had our old, inefficient boiler replaced with an up to date Bosch boiler. Throughout, Scott Findlay did their best to accommodate our needs and were easily accessible to discuss the work to be done and when. Every part of the service has been excellent from first contact through to the friendly and helpful engineer who was punctual even on a freezing cold morning.

Last October Scott Findlay Plumbing and Heating Ltd installed a new boiler and room thermostat. Today, they did a few maintenance plumbing jobs. Both times their service has been excellent and their staff have been very pleasant to deal with.
