I have used SD Roofing several times before and have always been pleased with the quality of the work. On this occasion I had a leak above a window that had been added to my property 20 years ago. It turned out that the roof in this area had been poorly modified to accommodate the window and Simon was able to reconfigure it to provide proper protection. He showed me photographs of before and after which were helpful as the problem cannot be seen from the ground. I have no hesitation in recommending SD roofing.

Simon was quick to respond after my initial enquiry, visiting my property, identifying the required work and within a few hours, purchased the materials and rectified a few points which were required to complete our conveyancing report. After the recent spell of torrential rain, water began leaking into the garage. Simon was extremely quick to respond to my request for assistance in solving the leak. So much so that the time elapsed from my initial call to him to actually rectifying the problem was approximately 90 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending S D Roofing.

Simon was quick to respond to our enquiry about a new flat roof and came the next day to view the problem and give us a quote, which we found very reasonable. He is very professional, polite, friendly and helpful at the same time. Simon and his team worked hard and very efficiently to install the new flat roof, taking away all the rubbish and sweeping up when they had finished. The new roof looks fantastic. Simon came to replace 2 broken tiles in the garage roof that were letting in water. He responded quickly to my request, so I knew the job was in hand and came round to fix. The second time, I have used Simoon and will use it again when required.

I needed coping stones repointing and asked Simon for a quote. This came back promptly and after agreeing to it he laid out when he would do the job and how long it would take. He stuck to his word and did a great job and left the place spotless. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending Simon and his team. They are truly first class.

Having used SD roofing before we contacted Simon when we notices wet stains on a bedroom celling after heavy rain. After a close inspection one Wednesday morning Simon showed us photos of the problem, broken slates and hole in the roof. He contacted us that evening with an acceptable price and returned the next day to complete the job. A speedy and satisfactory outcome.

From the start, Simon was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but he certainly came across as the most open, approachable, and honest. He took time to explain and even came back on the weekend to bring a sample of the membrane to show and explain. Communication was great - we had to wait until he could start, which is always a good sign! He turned up when he said (after a small delay, which was communicated well so we could still get on with our own things). For the main roof, it was Simon & Josh and Jeff & Martin (also to mention these guys were super too!) in order that they could strip and retile the roof as quickly as possible, given our usually inclement weather. Clearly, these guys had worked together many times; the rapport was good, and each two-man team knew what the other was doing and worked so well!! It was during the hottest July in years, and we were more than a little worried about them, but they never flagged. We made sure iced drinks and ice cream were available and taken!! Simon and Josh returned by themselves once the scaffold was down to complete the work on the lower roof - again done efficiently with minimum disruption to ourselves. There was one small issue, which before proceeding, Simon explained and asked for feedback, and listened to the inputs. What more can you ask? No hesitation to recommend Simon and Josh to anyone out there who, like us, is searching for an honest, fairly priced roofing specialist!!

Simon was very quick in responding to my request for a quotation to replace our porch roof and garage roof with new boards and a rubber finish. I could tell from our first meeting that he is attentive to detail and wants to do a job that performs well and looks good. Whilst his price wasn’t the cheapest, it was sensible for the job and I felt that his approach would be the one that would give us the best result. I was not disappointed. He and his team were polite and respectful and did a truly fantastic job. The garage roof was particularly tricky due to the way it was built and this wasn’t obvious until the old roof came off. The SD roofing team were very good in coming up with a solution to make the end result look good and we are delighted with the results. We have already asked Simon for a quote for further work to be done later in the year.

We needed to get the flat roof on our workshop redone in preparation for installation of solar panels. Simon was competitively priced. Work done on time and very happy with the results.

I needed to have a window moved from the side of the house to the front of the house. Simon did an excellent job, reusing existing bricks where he could and sourcing similar bricks to get as good a match as possible. The finish on the relocated window is spot on with the decorative brickwork around the window perfectly matching the other existing windows on the front of the house. Really happy with the work and would definitely use Simon again for any other similar work and would happily recommend him to my friends and family.

Having had SD roofing replace a flat roof last year we immediately thought of Simon when we had a leak in our pitched roof. He turned up promptly, inspected the roof and gave an estimate straight away. He showed us pictures of what needed doing and mentioned a reasonable price. We agreed and he returned three days later to complete the work in less than a day. Problem solved.

My flat roof was leaking and a neighbour recommended SD Roofing. Simon came and gave a quote and explained what they would do. I was pleased that they managed to fit me in before Christmas and was lucky it didn’t rain on the day the work was carried out. They arrived on time, removed the old roof, clearing up and taking away all the debris, and replaced it with a EPDM rubber membrane. It all looks very neat and tidy. I would happily recommend them to anyone else and will probably get them back in the New Year to sort out my guttering.

Simon arrived as promised to remove our no longer required Velux windows. The work was completed later the same day, all waste was removed, and the drive was swept and left tidy. Fab job, the roof looks great at a reasonable price. Simon had previously replaced our garage roof containing asbestos, another great job, very professional. Simon and his team were polite, professional, clean and tidy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Simon responded really quickly to our email enquiry via his website. He called round soon after to view the job, explained what the work would need to be, quoted and gave a fast timescale for getting the job done. He and his team turned up well within that timescale, just a couple of days later. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a super job. The final cost was well within the maximum first quoted. Simon responded quickly; a polite, friendly chap. He arrived with 2 other workers in an S D Roofing van. I showed him the watermarks on our bedroom roof. He was then outside and up on the bungalow roof in no time. He showed and explained what he thought the problem was - a cracked gully tile & large build-up of moss in the gully and they were also able to do the work there and then. He answered all my questions and explained everything. They did a very neat and tidy repair and left a very clean moss-free gully. He was also very reasonably priced. We had a slight leak from the roof and Simon @SD Roofing responded very quickly and sorted the problem the next day at a very reasonable price. With all of the bad weather we have been experiencing, we were concerned when we discovered a broken piece of guttering and a lot of water coming from it. Simon at SD Roofing could not have been more helpful . He came around later that the same day and, after getting replacement joint, fixed the problem. All for a reasonable and fair price.
