I have had Steve do a number of jobs over the years. He’s ultra reliable and very conscientious. Here, Steve and Nigel replaced our ageing heating system with a pressurised system and hot water cylinder. They did a superb job keeping us informed along the way. The quality of the workmanship is second to none and they work tirelessly throughout to get all finished on time. Highly recommended!

I wanted an ensuite remodelled. Steve was recommended by a friend, which gave us confidence. Steve provided a fair and detailed quote. Full marks for engaging and professionally quoting. On arrival, I was immediately aware that Steve cares hugely about protecting the rest of the house while undertaking the reconstruction of one room. The access to the room was well protected, and daily the bedroom was cleaned and vacuumed to ensure disruption was minimised. So, full marks for respecting our house and helping us to live through the work with a minimum of fuss. Steve and Nigel worked hard and obviously know their job well. They took care to reposition piping well. The work was not rushed. They gave me great confidence that they understood what I wanted and were determined to deliver. And they really did. The tiling is tremendous. They gave me advice about the tiles and grout. I am glad I listened to them. The shower was installed perfectly, and the toilet and sink were moved and replaced very competently. Again, full marks for quality of workmanship. I have been proud to show off their work. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. If you want good work you can rely on, done by people you can trust at a fair price, I suggest you contact Steve.

Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing is always our first choice. We have used them a number of times and on this occassion Steve and Nigel removed and fitted a family bathroom suite and en-suite. Being and old house a number of adjustments were required on the pipe work plus the challenge of making good and tiling uneven walls. As always, Steve and Nigel are a great team, fantastic at what they do, friendly and always go that extra mile, I can't recommend enough.

Steve made a great job of fitting my new combi boiler, which was not always a straightforward task. He left everything clean and tidy, and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We have used Steve on large and small plumbing jobs for a number of years including central heating and boiler services and had no hesitation in asking him to do this one. We find him to be honest, hard-working and considerate. He does a first-class job. Not knowing about problems that might be encountered, rather than a price for the job we happily agreed to pay Steve his day rate plus all materials etc. Throughout the work he discussed all minor details with us. With Steve's guidance, we chose good quality items which will stand the test of time (as proven with previous work). Steve and Nigel arrived on time and worked hard throughout. Steve, and his colleague Nigel, from Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing have recently carried out two projects in my home; the installation of a new boiler and a complete bathroom renovation. I couldn’t be more pleased to write a review for them. The boiler project was particularly challenging because I wished to relocate the new boiler to a different part of my house. The old one had been situated in the loft. This required significant work taking up floors to lay new pipes. However, Steve always ensured that everything was made safe for me when I came home from work and he kept disruption to a minimum. All flooring has been put back in a tidy fashion. I can’t be more pleased with my new bathroom. Steve fitted a new shower, shower panels and sliding glass shower doors, toilet, basin and fitted furniture. There was a slight problem with the shower tray not draining properly, but this was noticed and corrected straightaway. I was always kept informed of what water I had available in the evenings, and again, as with the boiler project, disruption was kept to a minimum. I cannot recommend Steve and Nigel highly enough. The quality of work was excellent and I found them to be kind, considerate and respectful, always listening to me and answering any questions. I would also add that I found them very trustworthy. I had no hesitation at all in allowing Steve to have a door key so they could let themselves in when I had gone to work. Thank you, Steve and Nigel for your hard work.

Firstly, when Steve came to give us a quote he was excellent in explaining all we needed to know about the installation and to give us advice. It was a pleasure to have the Steven and Nigel working in our house. They were polite, courteous and worked very efficiently. When the installation was complete everything was left clean and tidy. Steve and Nigel are two of the best contractors that I have worked with. They completely renewed our entire plumbing and fitted three bathrooms. Steve and Nigel removed my ancient boiler and tank and relocated using a modern efficient system. Neat and tidy throughout, always a pleasure to have in your home. Price was on point which included a smart stat. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Five stars all the way.

Steve and his colleague Nigel stripped the old bathroom completely and fitted a new shower cubicle, tray and shower, replaced the old toilet and basin with new furniture, pan, concealed cistern, taps and basin. Retiled the walls floor to ceiling and tiled the floor. All the work was carried out on time and to budget. They were both friendly and efficient and left the house clean and tidy. They were a pleasure to have in the house and I would strongly recommend them.

Steve and Nigel have just replaced our old bathroom suite - installing a new shower cubicle, truing up the walls, installing aqua boards, radiators, toilet etc. It was a big job and they ploughed through. The quality of their workmanship is excellent, neat finishes all round and attention to detail was really good. They are very tidy, clean workers - they were with us for 4 days and we had minimal disruption as they tidied everything away at the end of each day. They laid out dust sheets throughout the house which we appreciated and they even laid the original flooring back down before leaving so we weren't left on floor-boards! They arrived promptly every morning and they're really cheerful, nice guys to have in the house. We would recommend them for any plumbing/heating work and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Steve Palmer of Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing fitted a new combi boiler for me. He arrived promptly in the morning and set to work straight away. He put dustsheets down where he would be working. He quickly removed the old boiler and started to fit the new one. His workmanship was first class and his pipework was neatly installed. He is clearly an expert in all matters to do with heating and plumbing and is Gas Safe registered. Although the job involved more pipework than initially expected, Steve worked hard all day with only a short break for lunch and made sure that the boiler was working and heating the house before he left in the evening. He returned the following day to complete the installation and to set up the programmer and to explain to us how to work it and the boiler. He took great pains to clean up after his work was completed on both days. Steve is a very hard-working tradesman, he tired me out just watching him. Steve is easy to get on with and very reliable. Steve wore a mask and gloves at all times that he was working here and took care to socially distance himself from us. I can't praise him highly enough and I would recommend Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing to anyone.

Steve is exceptionally competent, knowledgeable, industrious, thorough, polite and clean. We cannot recommend him too highly. Last year, Steve sorted out my boiler system - I had been paying insurance for years and the providers sent 'engineers' for 3 years who replaced parts but could not fix the problem. Other plumbers tried without success. Steve diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately! On this recent job, Steve and Nigel once again could not have been more helpful these are honest men who work hard and will save you money!

Excellent job replacing our boiler. Very clean and tidy workmanship - cleared all tools and rubbish at the end of each day. Steve and Nigel worked very well together and are extremely knowledgeable about their trade. Very friendly and informative of what was going on throughout the entire job. Steve and Nige spent over 6 days doing a full refurbishment of our very dated bathroom. They both did a fantastic job and worked tirelessly sorting out numerous issues which they only discovered after starting the work. The end result was superb. They are a pleasure to have around whilst the work is being carried out and their cleanliness is impeccable. I would like to reiterate almost all the reviews below. Total rebuild of shower, replacement of bathroom plumbing and flooring and extra jobs/ obstacles along the way. Steve and Nigel knowledgeable, tidy, efficient, cheerful, hardworking, skilled and open. Excellent job, matching estimate/ statement. Could not be happier.

Steve and his colleague totally refurbished our en-suite bathroom. Every thing was on time and on budget and their work was to a very high standard. We were able to use his suppliers to purchase tiles and fittings at a discount price. They worked for week in our home with the minimum of disruption to produce a first class job. We will certainly use them again.

We asked Steve to refit our bathroom. He has a large range of tools which enabled him to work quickly and accurately. Steve gave us contact with his trade supplier where we were able to choose and buy really good quality items at a realistic price. Steve carried out most of the work himself including plumbing, tiling and fitting wall boards behind the shower but not electrics. We now have a bathroom with a "wow" factor including a shower cubicle and shower pump plus a free standing bath. We are very pleased with the whole experience and recommend him without reservation.
