Firstly, when Steve came to give us a quote he was excellent in explaining all we needed to know about the installation and to give us advice. It was a pleasure to have the Steven and Nigel working in our house. They were polite, courteous and worked very efficiently. When the installation was complete everything was left clean and tidy. We were very pleased with the quality of their workmanship and would have no hesitation in recommending them and using their services again.

Steve and Nigel are two of the best contractors that I have worked with. They completely renewed our entire plumbing and fitted three bathrooms. It was always a pleasure when they arrived and their work was of top quality. Very happy to discuss things as the works progressed and didn't mind when things were altered. The dogs liked them as well, so they must be good. Would definitely recommend and I wouldn't look elsewhere for any others. Thanks guys it was great working with you.

Steve and Nigel removed my ancient boiler and tank and relocated using a modern efficient system. Neat and tidy throughout, always a pleasure to have in your home. Price was on point which included a smart stat. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Five stars all the way.

Steve at Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing is probably the best tradesman I've ever used. His work is excellent, he's very kind and considerate (important in a plumber) and a thoroughly good, decent man.

Steve and his colleague Nigel stripped the old bathroom completely and fitted a new shower cubicle, tray and shower, replaced the old toilet and basin with new furniture, pan, concealed cistern, taps and basin. Retiled the walls floor to ceiling and tiled the floor. All the work was carried out on time and to budget. They were both friendly and efficient and left the house clean and tidy. They were a pleasure to have in the house and I would strongly recommend them.

Steve and Nigel have just replaced our old bathroom suite - installing a new shower cubicle, truing up the walls, installing aqua boards, radiators, toilet etc. It was a big job and they ploughed through. The quality of their workmanship is excellent, neat finishes all round and attention to detail was really good. They are very tidy, clean workers - they were with us for 4 days and we had minimal disruption as they tidied everything away at the end of each day. They laid out dust sheets throughout the house which we appreciated and they even laid the original flooring back down before leaving so we weren't left on floor-boards! They arrived promptly every morning and they're really cheerful, nice guys to have in the house. We would recommend them for any plumbing/heating work and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Steve Palmer of Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing fitted a new combi boiler for me. He arrived promptly in the morning and set to work straight away. He put dustsheets down where he would be working. He quickly removed the old boiler and started to fit the new one. His workmanship was first class and his pipework was neatly installed. He is clearly an expert in all matters to do with heating and plumbing and is Gas Safe registered. Although the job involved more pipework than initially expected, Steve worked hard all day with only a short break for lunch and made sure that the boiler was working and heating the house before he left in the evening. He returned the following day to complete the installation and to set up the programmer and to explain to us how to work it and the boiler. He took great pains to clean up after his work was completed on both days. Steve is a very hard-working tradesman, he tired me out just watching him. Steve is easy to get on with and very reliable. Steve wore a mask and gloves at all times that he was working here and took care to socially distance himself from us. I can't praise him highly enough and I would recommend Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing to anyone.

Steve is exceptionally competent, knowledgeable, industrious, thorough, polite and clean. We cannot recommend him too highly. Last year, Steve sorted out my boiler system - I had been paying insurance for years and the providers sent 'engineers' for 3 years who replaced parts but could not fix the problem. Other plumbers tried without success. Steve diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately! On this recent job, Steve and Nigel once again could not have been more helpful these are honest men who work hard and will save you money!

Excellent job replacing our boiler. Very clean and tidy workmanship - cleared all tools and rubbish at the end of each day. Steve and Nige spent over 6 days doing a full refurbishment of our very dated bathroom. They both did a fantastic job and worked tirelessly sorting out numerous issues which they only discovered after starting the work. The end result was superb. They are a pleasure to have around whilst the work is being carried out and their cleanliness is impeccable. I would like to reiterate almost all the reviews below. Total rebuild of shower, replacement of bathroom plumbing and flooring and extra jobs/ obstacles along the way. Steve and Nigel knowledgeable, tidy, efficient, cheerful, hardworking, skilled and open. Excellent job, matching estimate/ statement. Could not be happier.

Steve and his colleague totally refurbished our en-suite bathroom. Every thing was on time and on budget and their work was to a very high standard. We were able to use his suppliers to purchase tiles and fittings at a discount price. They worked for week in our home with the minimum of disruption to produce a first class job. We will certainly use them again.

We asked Steve to refit our bathroom. He has a large range of tools which enabled him to work quickly and accurately. Steve gave us contact with his trade supplier where we were able to choose and buy really good quality items at a realistic price. Steve carried out most of the work himself including plumbing, tiling and fitting wall boards behind the shower but not electrics. We now have a bathroom with a "wow" factor including a shower cubicle and shower pump plus a free standing bath. We are very pleased with the whole experience and recommend him without reservation. Steve is so hard working. He put in a full day's work (a rarity these days) every day on a long and difficult job. Honest, reliable, reasonable price. I highly recommend him, I don't think you will find a better tradesman anywhere.

Steve and his Team were absolutely marvellous during this potentially rather tricky job and we are extremely pleased with the results. We live in an old building and wanted hydronic underfloor heating in two bedrooms and a bathroom, including conversion to a "wet room" style walk in shower in the bathroom. Steve was happy to discuss all options available and met all of our design criteria. The work was carried out to a high standard, completed on time and on budget and the guys kept the place clean and tidy throughout. We are happy to recommend his services and would certainly use Sedgemoor H & P again.

Our boiler was failing, leaving 2 adults and 4 children with little hot water or heating. Steve came round, measured up, proposed a solution and quoted promptly. Our boiler then completely failed, and Steve was able to start work ahead of his previous timeline. From the discussion and patience with my questions about the replacement system, through the installation over four days, Steve and Alwyn were friendly, professional and showed an admirable attention to detail and concern for the fact that we still needed to live in the house while the work was going on. There are so many examples - e.g rather than capping the old flue outlets, Steve found bricks to match the rest of the wall and replaced the ones the old flues came out of; making sure all floors and carpets were back down every night to avoid anyone disappearing into a ceiling void. They also managed to cope with our 4 year olds' questions and fascination with seeing (for example) under the floor. In summary - we have a warm house, hot water, heated towel rails, a happy family and the price was fair for the volume of kit, work and quality provided. Happy to recommend Sedgemoor Heating and Plumbing to anyone, and they will be the first business I call if I need more work in the future.

We had our oil boiler & my mother in laws gas boiler replaced by Alwyn & Steve in the last 11 months. Lovely friendly, reliable & honest people to have in your home, excellent workmanship, competitive pricing. Most importantly, as both boilers had broken down in mid winter, they came when they they said they would.
