A stairlift already fitted to my new home had been clumsily removed by the previous owner's house-moving contractor and needed reinstallation with additional checking for completeness and safety . A call to the original supplier resulted in an dissatisfying and unhelpful response and demands for a hefty fee simply for checking its completeness before they would estimate a cost for reinstallation. Senior Stairlifts' response was, in contrast, friendly, empathic and professional throughout. They arranged a date for the work to be done without delay and at what I considered a reasonable and affordable overall cost. On the date arranged their engineer, Sean, phoned as planned to let me know this would be his last task of the day and to check that would not inconvenience me. It did not. Unfortunately after his arrival, the refitting task itself turned out to be more complex than expected due to the unit's inexpert removal and Sean was not able to complete the work until late evening! He nevertheless made no complaint and was diligent, patient and efficient throughout. The refitted stairlift works perfectly and has greatly improved my ease and safety of access to my first-floor home. In spite of all the problems Sean encountered and his very long day, the work was done within the agreed budget and without fuss or unnecessary inconvenience to me. Excellent work all round.
