We are a respected, multi-award winning and recognised specialist in the fields of Damp proofing, Cellar Tanking, Basement Waterproofing, Condensation control and the installation of Timber Preservation treatments to eradicate fungal decay and wood boring insects such as Woodworm or Dry rot. We are proud to have provided reliable, practical and bespoke solutions to thousands of domestic properties nationwide.

We take great care in ensuring that we understand the root causes of the problem so that we can develop the right approach to solve or combat the issue. This approach allows us to have confidence in our specifications and more importantly, the effectiveness of our Guarantees.

Due to the nature of the projects we undertake, failure is not an option and the installations we design and install need to be 100% effective. Shaw Preservations carried out extensive damp-proof work for me. They were clearly knowledgeable in their area of work from initial consultation and throughout. I found all members of the company, from onsite builders to office based colleagues, very friendly and helpful at all times. I felt they genuinely wanted to help and do a good job. There were some delays with returning to reinstate skirtings and a radiator, as they are in high demand. But this wasn't delayed by too long. I am very happy with the quality of their work and found the onsite builders respectful of my property, always arriving on time and keeping the working areas as clean and tidy as possible. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

We had a problem with rising damp which has been dealt with effectively and with minimal disruption and zero mess. Second time of using and would happily use again.

We had a damp proof treatment applied in our kitchen. When we found the problem the works were quickly inspected and then completed to allow for our builders to complete the new kitchen with minimal delay. Their staff on the phone were helpful, as was the surveyor and operatives who carried out the work. All this whilst encountering the delays due to material shortages due to COVID 19. We were very impressed.
