Having been thoroughly let down and wasted a couple of hours until someone rang to say they wouldn’t be attending for a toilet leak … I phoned Shedfield/Prestige plumbing and was advised someone would attend within 40 minutes. Before the 40 minutes Terry arrived … polite, courteous and has done an excellent job. Cleaned up afterwards and invoice was less than I expected as parts had to be replaced. Excellent service, highly recommend and will be my first place to call with any future plumbing issues …

I have been using prestige since our water tank split in 2018! This time it was a series of taps to be replaced( mains water tap under sink, isolation to outside tap, outside tap itself and bathroom sink tap). Michael came to do the work , arrived when advised and carried out the work efficiently, tidying up after himself and respecting my property. Unreservedly recommend this plumbing company to all.

I had a problem with a sheared off pop-up bathroom sink plug. I phoned at 10am, Michael arrived before 2pm and the job was done within the hour. I have used Prestige before and find them quick and reliable. I would recommend them.

We had a problem with a plastic compression fitting failing causing a flood in our shower room, and discovered that plastic pipework and compression fittings had been used to feed the hot and cold water from our shower room to the kitchen via a thin cavity wall without any insulation to prevent it from freezing. The way it had been assembled previously with multiple compression fittings was more like LEGO than plumbing. We contacted Prestige Plumbers because we wanted all the plastic pipework and fittings to be replaced with copper. They came and recommended that the new copper pipework should be routed via the attic where it would be insulated. We were satisfied with their quotation, the quality of their work and the time they took to complete it. Highly professional, we would definitely use them again if needed.

The courtesy and efficiency of your staff, from the initial enquiry to the job completion was excellent. They listened to our explanation of the faults in our cisterns and the need for a new toilet seat and carried out the work by replacing the 2 syphons and a new seat - exactly as needed. The work was carried out to a very high standard. Your engineer was both cheerful and polite and very efficient. Well done!

Plumber was informative, gave clear explanation as to what needed to be repaired/replaced. Also no waiting for arrival gave time slot, and arrived in that time. Work carried out ,showed what had been done, also cleaned up, so no mess!

We phoned this company at 8.30am about a problem with our WC cistern inlet valve and spoke to a friendly member of staff who arranged for a plumber to visit us. Their excellent plumber Michael arrived at 10.00 am and completed the job by 10.30 including completely servicing and replacing several parts to the cistern. The cost was no more than we expected and included a 10% discount on labour costs for senior citizens. What more could you want from a plumbing firm? Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

This is the second time I have used Prestige Plumbers and the standard of service and friendly nature was every bit as good as the first! While having our dishwasher repaired this morning, the engineer noticed a leak behind the washing machine and suggested we need a new hose (he was a Bosch only engineer so could not do this for us himself). I called Prestige Plumbers and someone arrived within 20 minutes, replaced the hose and the valve and we were using our washing machine by 9am! What could have been a nightmare was quickly and easily dealt with, and we got a discount for being an existing customer! This firm will always be my number one go-to for all plumbing needs!

I've used Prestige Plumbers for several years and they always do a good job. They come every year to service a boiler they installed for me and I have always found them to be punctual, friendly and efficient.

I called Prestige Plumbers to come and quote for some work for my Dad, replacing some kitchen and bathroom taps and replacing the inserts for a couple of toilets. From the start communication was great, they came out to quote sooner than arranged as they were in the area so called to see if they could come sooner. The quote was with us within a couple of days and the work was completed within two weeks of my first call. They showed us photos of the taps they would supply and explained everything they would do before sending the quote. They showed up on time, were friendly, clean and tidy with their work and have done a great job replacing and repairing the things my dad needed them to and making them much easier for him to use too. I always want to use local and family run businesses whenever I can, and this company, Prestige Plumbers were one such company. I rang on the afternoon on Friday and the following morning, Saturday, around 9.15 the plumber was at my front door. Luckily he had a set of taps in his van so he was able to sort my dripping taps out right then and there. He was polite and quiet, not talking his head off, which some engineers do, and to be honest it gets on my nerves, this guy was here to do a job and he got on with it. I would certainly use the company again, no doubt at all.

I had a leaking radiator the day before Christmas Eve. Called a number of plumbers but got through to Prestige Plumbers straight away. Arrived within an hour and a half, sorted the issue within 30 minutes with no problems. Made sure all the other radiators and hot water was working before leaving. I called Prestige Plumbers after discovering a leaky kitchen tap. I decided to replace the worn out taps in my bathroom at the same time. I called yesterday late afternoon and they were here at 8.30 this morning! They were friendly and courteous and their work was extremely thorough. They replaced the taps and fixed a pop-up plug (that wasn’t popping up) as well as ensuring everything was in good working condition before they left. I am really happy to have fully functioning taps with no sign of leakage again! Super efficient, great service and they will now be our go-to for any plumbing needs, large or small! We had a problem with the platform in our loft holding the water tanks collapsing due to a leaking ball valve and overflow in both water tanks and central heating header tank. Called Prestige Plumbers who sent their senior man around that same day to inspect. Confirmed that we were not in imminent danger of the ceiling falling in and outlining the work needed - which was less than I had anticipated. Although there was a clear opportunity to pad the work, Terry was completely honest in what needed doing - and no more. Quotation followed by email and a date agreed for a couple of days later. Two tradesmen turned up on the agreed day and carried out the work quickly efficiently and with the minimum of disturbance, even vacuumed our hall landing and stairs and cleaned out our bath for us when finished. Agreed to leave tanks unlagged to ensure there was no leakage and return a week or so later to check and refit lagging. Invoice submitted was exactly as quoted. Would use again without hesitation.

Five taps were efficiently replaced. The two plumbers were very friendly and helpful. They kindly infixed a jammed light fitting for us, and advised us on a leakage problem with our shower.

I phoned Prestige Plumbers on a Friday to arrange the replacement of a sink waste outlet (plughole) and waste trap (u bend). They attended on Monday as arranged and performed the work courteously and efficiently. Minor criticisms: Could not estimate cost before arrival on site; Arrived earlier than advised; No phone call to advise of arrival time as was promised.

MIchael came to fix a seized isolation valve under the sink. He responded within about 15 mins. of my call. When I discovered the leak from my bathroom basin I thought I would have trouble getting through to a plumber and would probably have to wait days for a visit. Instead, a charming lady answered the phone immediately and within a few hours a very helpful plumber was on my doorstep. I phoned this company expecting to have to make a booking for some time in the next week or so but was delighted that they were available to come on the same day. The two tradesmen were polite and respected my property. I was very happy that they were able to remove an old radiator safely and with no mess whatsoever. In addition, they volunteered to take it away and deliver to a scrapyard, so for that extra service I would rate them 5 stars. I will be using this company again when I have decorated and need a new radiator plumbed in.

After contacting Prestige Plumbers (Shedfield Plumbers) on the twenty fourth of May, a plumber called the next morning and investigated the problem with the cistern not flushing. Jamie the plumber was superb, he checked the cistern, diagnosed the problem (that was a failed syphon and diaphragm) and offered several options. First was to replace the complete syphon and second was to offer a replacement push button cistern. Even though the cistern was over twenty years old, I decided to just replace the syphon. He completed the work in just under an hour, checked the running of the cistern by operating the handle and gave instructions to effect either a full flush, or half flush when using the handle. There was no mess left and the old parts were removed from the premises. A friendly, polite plumber and an extremely efficient professional service. If necessary will definitely use this company again.

Prestige Plumbers gave excellent service. Prompt, reliable, professional and competent. The replacement of the stopcock was a tricky operation, avoided by other plumbers, yet Prestige knew exactly what to do, and did it perfectly.

I phoned them Monday afternoon and they were with me the following morning and the job was complete by midday. They work together well as a team from Sharon taking your call to appointing the plumber(s) to come and assess what needs doing. They gave me a price straight after the assessment, went out to get the replacement taps and wastes and came back and fitted them. Everybody is friendly (and professional) and they're people you're happy to trust in your home. I really don't think they would ever let you down - they turn up when they say they will and they'd certainly give you a call if for some reason they couldn't attend, which is increasingly rare these days! I've used them once before for a replacement thermostatic valve in my shower. I was equally as pleased with them then and hence I only contacted them for this job.

The company responded very quickly to request for a plumber to deal with a leak. The plumber was good in explaining beforehand what mess there would be cutting floorboards to identify where the leak was. I had a blocked kitchen sink. Phoned at midday and as promised, contractors arrived soon after 3pm the same day. Cleared out pipes and checked flow. Prestige Plumbers have done a first rate job repairing two toilets that were not flushing and replacing a dripping kitchen tap. All work was done to an excellent standard and they have left everywhere very clean and tidy. Repairing the toilets wasn't easy but they went above and beyond to do the work. Both gentlemen were friendly and polite and arrived wearing masks. They gave me an estimate for the work before they started work so there was no nasty shock when the invoice arrived but in any case I thought the price they charged was very reasonable for all the work they had to do. An incredibly professional firm, showed up on time and finished the job swiftly. Fixed multiple radiators and offered future advice based on what was found, easy choice for great value plumbing service.

Finding a good and reliable plumber can be difficult, however I have now found one in Prestige Plumbers. Terry and Brett arrived on time, having called me prior with an eta. They assessed the work to be undertaken, answered my questions and advised accordingly. Existing parts/fixtures were removed and replaced with new, tested and the job was completed. They had a small space to work in but had all the appropriate tools for this situation. They were clean, tidy and wore Covid masks without me having to ask. I phoned Prestige Plumbers on the morning of 25th November regarding a leaking pipe in my loft and spoke with a lady called Sharon. To my delight assistance was given that same afternoon and the leaking pipework was replaced within the hour. No mess, no fuss. Whilst the plumber, I think his name was Michael, was present I pointed out a dripping kitchen mixer tap and arranged with him to order a replacement for me. The new tap was subsequently replaced, quickly and most efficiently by the same gentleman on the 29th Nov. On both occasions, the site was left clean and tidy on completion. I have not used this firm before, but I most certainly will again. I was impressed with the professionalism shown throughout both visits and the pleasant reassuring manner of the gentleman involved. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the standard of work on completion of both jobs.

Shedfield Plumbers fixed our leaky toilets last March and we were really impressed with the price, workmanship and friendliness of the plumber. So we had no hesitation in asking them to replace our rusted through old radiator when we redecorated the bedroom. Again, a very reasonable price and they did a really professional job. We called out Prestige Plumbers on a friend's recommendation. The work involved a leaking radiator and a power shower unit not working correctly. The plumber came out within 48 hours to determine what work was required and to estimate the cost etc. They carried out the work 2 days later. I should add that I had stressed the job was not urgent. We were very pleased with the work carried out, which included fitting and installing a new shower unit. All appears to be working well, there was no mess left and all old fittings and rubbish were taken away. We were subsequently emailed for payment which was as estimated. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company for their excellent service and professionalism.

Saw 'Prestige Plumbers' advert in 'the Directory' and was reminded that we used them for a plumbing problem before and were happy to use them again. Sharon is the friendly voice on the phone to whom I explained our bathroom shower was uncomfortably hot despite being set to its coolest position. My phone call was on a Friday afternoon and she arranged for Michael to come and assess the problem on the following Monday afternoon. It was the thermostatic cartridge, but neither the shower nor the manual we had named the shower manufacturer. Michael took a photo and sent it to their supplier. He praised their supplier for being good at identifying these parts, which indeed they were. Sharon sent us the estimate, which we agreed to as we were really happy that there hadn't been any holdups/issues in identifying and supplying the part. Sharon promised they would come out the same day they received the part to fit it. As promised they phoned through to see if that afternoon was convenient to come and fit the part. Michael and colleague, James, turned up and fitted the part quite quickly, despite lack of familiarity with the position of shut-off valves, etc. It's important to say that they wore face masks throughout, as did I, to reciprocate the thoughtfulness (COVID protection for all of us). The bathroom/shower was left tidy. Happy with the speed, friendly and no-nonsense approach. Job done and cost as per estimate. We even got a discount for being senior citizens!

I had a problem this morning so I called around 9:30. Without waiting for 30 minutes, a plummer called Michael came before 10:00. I was impressed with the quick and appropriate explanation and service.

Phoned approx 9:30am on Monday Morning with a problem with my water tank. Someone was out with me by 10am. Diagnosed and explained and the problem and provided the price for the work upfront. Completed the work and then talked through what had been fixed and gave some advice on how to potentially avoid or diagnose the problem in the future. Excellent.

Fitted around my work arrangements and agreed to come between 8 and 9am. Turned up on time, did job within 40 mins, lovely and friendly, and cost was within quote. Wore a mask the entire time. I 'phoned at 8.45 this morning and was 'phoned back a few minutes later. Explained the problem was a leaking kitchen tap. The lady told me Jamie would call between 9 am to noon. He arrived at 9.30. Told me a new tap and a valve for the washing machine was required. He told me the price including VAT and I agreed to have the work done. He completed the job by 10 am. Told me there was a 12 month guarantee and if there was any problem to let the company know. I found him to be very pleasant, helpful and told me exactly what he was doing.

I rang Prestige Plumbers at 10-00 am Friday and was booked for the plumber to call me that afternoon. Jammie was here at 2-00pm and carried out a brilliant job of repairing a leaking pipe. all I can say is friendly service and efficient work Jammie was a diamond plumber. would recommend these to anyone. Checked main stopcock was working. Advice on slight change to enable easy access. Replaced stopcock under the sink and replaced outside tap. Checked upstairs as to possible leak - advised ok. Suggested replacing kitchen tap which was leaking. Left water turned off. I will make a decision as to the new tap when I have decided whether to sell or rent the house out. Very happy with service. Senior citizen needed urgent repairs to toilet initial call for service was dealt with promptly and a promise of same morning visit was met, received excellent communication from technician as to arrival time. Repair was carried out expertly and in line with estimate toilet working perfectly now no issues very happy customer.

From initial enquiry and survey visit on 27 July to the installation of new bath and basin taps, bath sealant and a basin waste took 3 only days. Very prompt service. An extra part was needed to fully complete the sink waste installation. All work completed by 9 August. We are very pleased with the work carried out. I had two "plumbing problems" an outside tap and a leaking pipe under the kitchen double sink. Michael arrived on time and took the time to explain what was wrong and how he would fix the problems. This he did; was Covid secure at all times; cleared up everything after the job was completed. A very small problem the next day was efficiently and quickly rectified. When ringing the office Sharon was polite and friendly. Paying the account was simple online, a detailed invoice was sent via email, etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company - indeed I already have - and I will be using them again for fitting a new shower etc.

Terry arrived promptly when specified and got to work straight away. He not only replace the leaking stopcock which was in a very awkward position but moved it to a much more accessible place. The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and budget. Terry was friendly and informed me of the work that he was going to do at all times, and was very professional, definitely use Prestige Plumbers again if I needed to .

I had a pipe that burst leading to water cascading down my wall and ceiling. I called and spoke to Sharon who arranged for Terry to come out in the morning. Terry found the problem straight away and it was fixed immediately. Such a relief. Great to find a service that doesn't let you down

I only wanted a guesstimate of what to do to fix my toilet flush. Jamie, the plumber said he could do it now, he has the gear in his van. 45 minutes later, all sorted, no mess and super job. I am well impressed by the professionalism and skill of Jamie the plumber. Recommended!

Called at short notice for replacement dual flush mechanism to be fitted to WC. Plumber arrived within the hour. Clarified my requirements and made clear the costs involved before starting. Job completed very quickly with no mess. Invoice issued as agreed. Whole experience from first contact was excellent, and I would use Prestige again as well as recommend them to someone else.

Prestige Plumbers installed a Mira Electric Shower and fitted a Vanity Unit together with new sink and tap. My reason for choosing Prestige was that out of 5 local plumbers contacted they were the only Company who came round to look at the proposed work required and forward a quote for said work. They also gave a OAP discount where appropriate. The Companies workmen duly arrived on the agreed date and time and proceeded to carry out all work to a very high standard in the time stated. There was a small problem with the siting of the Vanity Unit, but this was resolved quickly and amicably. The site was left clean and tidy and all rubbish taken away. Would highly recommend Prestige.
