We went to Sheffield Flooring Solutions based on a friend recommendation. At every appointment they were on time and professional. Then our plan came to a screeching halt when our kitchen could not be installed by the service provider according to schedule ,so, the floor could not be fit on a timely fashion. We had deadlines to move in. Sheffield Flooring worked with us flexibly to fit the places they could until kitchen was installed right 2 days before we had to move in. Then Sheffield Flooring came to rescue the last day till the last minute to finish the job. They were all so caring, friendly, and attentive to details. Liam specifically was so creative when it came to the areas of the house that were tricky! Thanks to Lisa, Liam, and Connor for saving us and make our home so pretty when we were stressed out and frustrated!

Never had laminate flooring this guys were amazing from the showroom answering all our questions to estimating and fitting. Liam who fitted the floor was a pleasure to have in the house, did the job quickly and cleaned up everything. Can’t recommend highly enough.

If you didn't choose this company then you will have missed out on the experience and advice provided by Lisa and Diane on selecting the right product [Quick-Step EL 312] for the entrance hall and kitchen in a house with a powered wheelchair and their guidance and reassurance from start to finish. You also missed out on a very professional, polite and efficient installation carried out by Connor, Daniel and Liam [2], following a survey by Carter and Liam[1]. This is a family run business but there was nothing casual in their approach. I am a project manager by day [and often night] and my standards are high, but so were theirs. I am rarely impressed [unfortunately] but I know a tightly run ship when I see one. There were many opportunities to cut corners [literally] but they didn't take them. This is both the right word and the wrong word [given that we now have a fabulous surface underfoot and one on which the wheelchair can glide] but in a word- flawless!

Sheffield Flooring Solutions are are an excellent professional company . My wife and I visited their shop on two occasions and were very impressed by the wide range of flooring on offer . As we were uncertain as to the type of floor we were looking for we had a conversation with a member of staff and she was able to point us in the right direction . We were looking at a dark colour for our floor but were told that , in her opinion , that would not be suitable . She gave us a sample of a lighter coloured floor to take home . How right she was . We made our choice and arrangement were made to come out to our hose to give us a quote . As we have solid floors in our house a area in front of a hearth which had been removed needed a screed . We received a quote for the entire job and we thought it was very reasonable .The work was carried out on the day agreed . A few days before the work was due to be carried out they rang to make sure everything was ok and arranged for the flooring to be delivered . The two lads who did the work were excellent . They arrived on time and moved the furniture . They were bright cheerful friendly lads and very good at their job. They were able to offer a brilliant solution to a problem we had concealing our radiator pipes . We asked them about cleaning the floor and they recommended a quickstep cleaning kit . The recommendation was based on their own personal experience . One of the lads dropped one off on his way home the next day .

We were prepared for a big bill to replace our flooring. In a visit by Liam, their fitter he pointed out that he could rub down the old veneered wood and re-stain. This he did, the job was brilliant and probably saved us about four thousand pounds compared a to a total replacement. Looks as good as new. We feel we’ve been very well looked after by Sheffield Flooring Solution, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and deliver. To do the job we had to spend a couple of days away, and Liam even fed the cats for us. Would recommend to anyone.

We chose the flooring from SFS. We had been to several other places first and SFS was the friendliest and most knowledgable retailer about our requirements. Liam the fitter was on time, very polite, friendly and definitely knew his job. The work was carried out in a fast efficient and very tidy manner. He cleaned up and tidied away afterwards. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would highly recommend SFS if you are in the market for new laminate flooring.

From first visiting Sheffield Flooring Solutions Ltd to the completion of laminate flooring and new skirting in the lounge and hallway, every thing went smoothly. Lisa was very helpful and knows the products, No hard sell, just very professional. The fitter was extremally competent and friendly. Turned up on time and got on with the job. He cleaned up and removed all the rubbish. No hesitation on recommending this company, all the staff are a credit to the company.

After a terrible year of (not very professional builders, plumbers etc.) Sheffield Flooring solutions waved their magic want over my entire ground floor and turned it in to a classy joint for me and my dogs to hang about in. They did the same last year for my upstairs room. I cannot praise them highly enough from sales to the fitters. The floor is perfect they left not a trace of debris behind. Their prices are competitive with no hidden extras.

We were recommended Sheffield Flooring Solutions by our plasterer and we're really glad he did. We visited the showroom, staff were super helpful in guiding us through the options and very knowledgeable. We went for engineered oak parquet flooring and are delighted with the end result. The process was seamless from the first visit to measuring up to laying the final piece. The team who did the fitting, were really efficient, professional and did a first class job. It was a large space in the lounge and hallway, and they laid it in a way to minimise any disruption for us whilst fitting. So overall great value for money and they did an excellent job. We would highly recommend SFS!

I had solid oak flooring fitted for our house (ground floor) recently.the whole experience of selecting the type of flooring,quotation and fitting was very smooth,transparent and professional.job completed on time and staff were very polite and punctual.would definitely recommend SFS.

SFS gave us an estimate very quickly and were happy to postpone the work until after Christmas to suit our needs. They undertook the removal of old carpets and skirting boards throughout the house. All rubbish was properly removed. The new laminate was laid quickly and expertly, flowing well from each room to the others. The skirting boards were fixed and sealed very well giving an excellent finish overall. SFS staff put forward helpful suggestions as to best finishes and also agreed to small changes in the plans without any problem. All the staff involved were very courteous and helpful. The work was completed within the agreed timetable. We would have no hesitation in recommending SFS

Lisa, The flooring looks fantastic. The fitting was how it should be done as if it were their own home.Cannot fault the attitude and the precision of the fitting. Liam is an old fashioned tradesman who does the job right and wants to put his own personal signature to the job. Very pleasant to be around and he treated us with respect and called us by our first name from day one. A worker any business should be proud to have on board.
