Since December 2016, SheffLOCK owners Chris, Rich & Kevin Hanson have built an independent family business providing locksmith services to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley & Doncaster.
Our passion as ex-police detectives, specialising in burglary, is burglary prevention to stop criminals from entering your home or business. We offer Police and Insurance approved products proven to reduce crime.
We work with local authorities to secure buildings that have been fire damaged and to secure other buildings that have needed destructive entry.
Locks, door handles and locking mechanism replacements supplied and we can cut spare keys to the locks we fit.
SheffLOCK are available 24/7 for emergencies and we operate a scheduled appointment service for lock changing and other routine maintenance during working hours.

After struggling with a back door lock that couldn’t be trusted any more I contacted Shefflock. We arranged a time for the following day and Kevin was at my door bang on time. Within minutes the lock was removed and the gearbox was identified as the problem. Kevin told me the price which I accepted as reasonable and in no time at all the lock was replaced. Kevin gave me some advice for maintaining the lock in the future. I couldn’t fault the professional way Shefflock handled the job from start to finish. I will recommend them to anyone else having problems with their locks or other security issues.

We ordered a new front door through SheffLock in May, which was ready for fitting in July (with just a small delay due to some glass taking slightly longer to be delivered to them by their supplier). The door is really nice and works well. The price was competitive and can't fault the service - they were very friendly on email, phone and in person. Installation went smoothly and was done in 2-3 hours. Would recommend.

Had new locks fitted on front/back door, patio and extension. Also two new door handles with locking mechanism. Very happy. They were very quick, efficient, showed me how it all worked, door handles and locks themselves. Also the keys as they are security keys. Here at the time expected, within an hour, finished up and cleaned up. Peace of mind.

I had a lock upgrade as mine was deemed (by me!) to be easily targeted by lock snapping so SheffLOCK upgraded to an Ultion lock which actually made my whole door feel much more secure. I then had two replacement windows (bedroom and bathroom) which are super quality (no more rubber seals!) which I am really happy with. Glynn was wonderfully clean too - virtually no mess as he cleaned up as he went along. I would not go anywhere else and would (and do) highly recommend.

Having contacted Shefflock regarding replacing our existing external door locks, Chris Hanson visited and fitted locks to both external UPVC doors as well as the UPVC double/French windows that we have. Chris was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about what was required and, during the course of the work, explained how the new locks differed from those that were being replaced. Chris also managed to realign the French windows which had been installed slightly out of line by the original installer, all done without any quibble or extra cost. A thoroughly professional job and highly recommended by both my wife and I.
