Really hard to get good service people to do small jobs currently - in my case hardwiring in an electric oven & fitting an outdoor socket. Tried ringing many but without success. I saw Marlon on Which Trusted Traders and being local gave him a call. He came round and gave me a quote on Tuesday & did the job two days later. Competent, pleasant and he knows his stuff. What he charged was a good reasonable price.

My husband and I have just moved into our first purchased home, and had many questions and electrical work that needed completing. From extending TV cables, to chasing these through a brick wall, to replacing bathroom fans and installing new electrical sockets - Marlon completed all of these tasks efficiently and effectively. Had all the spotlights changed in the lounge, kitchen , dining area and study as they were the old model and dangerous. Mr Sherlow was fantastic at explaining the problems and the difference between the safe newer models. He was very experienced and inspired confidence . He apologised in advance for any mess that does occur and tidied up after himself. He was extremely helpful and polite at all times. We had a problem with two of the lights bulbs which he came to change without any quibble and I would highly recommend him to anyone for his excellent work He also put in some extra plugs for us which have been extremely helpful. He is now in my book of trusted reliable and good workmen

We have used Sherlow Electrical on a number of occasions for a range of electrical work around our house. The work has arranged from installing lights, new switches, electrical sockets, indoors and out, and also fault finding and problem-solving. Liaising with him prior to the work being done has always been simple and straightforward, he has always turned up on time and completed the work swiftly and efficiently. We had electrical problems in our kitchen which Marlon identified as wiring issues under the floor due to damp and rodent problems. We were so glad to find such an excellent and reliable electrician. Marlon took on a very tricky and unpleasant job for us that no-one else would help with, did a great job fixing it and for a very reasonable price. Marlon did an extremely thorough job on replacing an old circuit board in my flat, ensuring that it complies with current health and safety requirements. The job was quite long and complicated and involved the council and tenants and Marlon was pro active and professional throughout. Marlon also replaced the oven and arranged for the electrical safety certificate. I?d definitely recommend.
