We cannot praise Simon Barker Services Ltd highly enough for their amazing work! They have transformed our house! They were professional and polite throughout, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done to a very high standard with lots of care and attention going in to every last detail - special thanks to Stuart & Johnny! Nothing was too much trouble, they were always punctual and never let us down once. We were worried about have such a lot of work done but Brad was so reassuring and project managed with expertise and the whole process ran smoothly. We have always used Simon Barker Services for big and small jobs, they never let us down and we would highly recommend!

I was able to book ahead for a specific day and time to coincide with leave already booked. The call handler was really helpful. The booking was confirmed by email. The engineer arrived on time and was efficient and thorough, leaving the boiler running. Excellent communication and service.

Required a newer more efficient Boiler. Quote provided at a time to suit. Price was better than the big corporations. I was going to compare this to another local firm, that I had used previously, but they didn’t respond to my enquiry. I was provided with an install date to suit us. Engineers polite and respectful to the property. Overall a Nice neat install. Required a new Flu and engineer bricked up the old flu, bricks matched to the property, producing a nice neat finish. Hive provided free of charge on a deal. Overall I’m very pleased with the workmanship.

Wow, what a team! Bradley and his team are Reliable polite, thoughtful and efficient. We recently moved into the area October this year. Bradley‘s team sorted out our heating problem and gas leak? They confirmed there wasn’t one. They came out as soon as we called them. They were very attentive. We were hoping that they will be able to install a utility area in our garage. A run of cabinets, sink, water softener and installation of washing machine and dryer before Christmas. Gratefully they did as it was a very busy time of year for them. It looks absolutely stunning. Simon are our go-to plumbers here in Spalding. My request for a new tap to be fitted was undertaken at the first opportunity, but the second part of the job - to fix a leak in the en-suite shower - needed a second pair of hands so they returned in the afternoon and completed the job very promptly. Could not have been better.

This was the second time I had called Simon Barker Services to complete a plumbing-related task in my home. The first project was to adapt an en-suite and main bathroom to meet the needs of my wife, who had Alzheimer's. This last task was a simple leaking tap, which required a replacement tap. On both occasions, the service was exactly the same. They visited to assess the task and delivered exactly as planned, in terms of the time frame to complete the task. The professionalism of all who attended for both tasks was of an extremely high standard. On the last job, an extremely polite young man called Hayden arrived at my home and provided an excellent example of what good customer service should be. Even though I said he could leave his boots on as he was coming through the door, as the tap was in the kitchen. He still took them off, a simple but respectful gesture which I really appreciated. He was efficient, friendly, and thoroughly professional whilst completing the task. There was no need to clear up after him, as you do with some tradespeople! His positive attitude, politeness, and competence left a distinctly optimistic impression on me. Not something I often feel after some of the interactions I have had with other businesses. I would definitely recommend Simon Barker Services for any future jobs in my home and for my friends. You may be able to get a cheaper quote elsewhere, but would you be able to get the same quality of service that they deliver? Probably not.

I could not rate their service higher. They responded so quickly to our plumbing emergency. They were polite and we were always reassured with the competence and quality of their work from our first call to the office to the plumber finishing his work.

The engineer was a little delayed in getting to us for the annual boiler service. He phoned to let us know and arrived early for his new ETA. He was polite and just got on with the job without fuss, or disturbance to us. Job done, we were told all was well and the engineer departed with a cheerful smile. The invoice arrived promptly in the post as promised - I would have preferred an e-invoice. We've used SBPH before and will be using them again!
