First service of a relatively new boiler in a house I moved into earlier in the year, but had no instructions how to set the boiler to work to its optimum, also I had a towel rail not working and an upstairs radiator not working as it should do. Young lad arrived and listened to me waffle on about the above, then as he removed the panel under the boiler cupboard there were the instructions :-) Boiler was serviced, the bar corrected it was way to high, thermostat checked and both upstairs radiators fixed all within an hour. What a difference having things working properly has made to the temperature of the house now, totally brilliant, and extremely good value. Simon Barker was recommended to me and I have no problem recommending to anyone else.

We have used Simon Barker Services since 2009 & have had no problems at all. From relatively small jobs such as the expansion vessel, up to a new boiler, they've all been completed satisfactorily with no recalls due bad workmanship. Prices are reasonable & they turn up when they say they will.

What a great service, polite, efficient, in a timely fashion. Great service would highly recommend. Advised, without being pushy, on other remedial work required.

Always turns up when booked (in the event of unforeseen circumstances they always let you know) never, ever do unnecessary stuff. Excellent service always.

I was very pleased with the young man who came to service my boiler. He did a very thorough job. He was polite and on time.

Our combi boiler was replaced over two days recently. Bradley spent some considerable time with us discussing what was required and how this would affect us. We also had some concerns regarding the existing boiler and how it had been set up which he said could be resolved. On the day, Jake and Shaun arrived promptly and set to work. As predicted, they ended the first day at 4.30pm. We knew that we would be without heating and hot water overnight but the electric heaters which they left with us kept us warm. They arrived promptly on day 2 and by 4.30 that afternoon the new boiler was up and running. It was clear they had gone to considerable trouble to resolve the concerns we had with the previous boiler and we are absolutely delighted with the finished result. What a fantastic and efficient service from start to finish! I urgently required my main bathroom and ensuite to have modifications made at short notice to allow them to be fit-for-purpose; to enable me to continue to care for my wife at home. My main priority was to have a new bath to accommodate a bath chair and make both floors easy to clean and slip resistant to reduce chances of slips and falls. This required a new toilet and sink in the ensuite so that they fitted up to the back wall and accidents can be cleaned up with ease. To enable all this work to be done, I had to put my wife into a care home and this limited the time frame for the work to be carried out. This did not prove to be a problem as extra manpower was allocated to enable a normal 5-day job to be completed in 4-days. I found Harry and his team extremely professional, courteous and friendly who clearly respected my property and belongings throughout the process. They did their level best to minimise dust spreading outside of the work areas and constantly cleaned up after themselves. They were also there first thing in the morning ready to start work and did not stop until the end of the working day. The majority of the work was completed within the 4-days to enable my wife to come home, with just a little bit of finishing touches completed on the 5th day. I am so very happy with the finished product that is practical for our circumstances without looking like a NHS wetroom! Thank you very much
