1st time I have used this company and I will definitely be using them again. My oil boiler was very sooty and not running correctly. The plumber did an excellent job and was professional and courteous. He soon had the boiler (which is a year older than him) running efficiently. I was very happy with the work and the price charged.

My stop tap was not cutting off the supply so had to get someone in. Appointment made for a few days ahead for early afternoon. Plumber rang me in the morning asking if he could come early as he was free due to missed appointment. Agreed time and he arrived as expected. Got straight on with the job and after realising it wasn't going to be a straight forward swap he had the pipework cut out and replaced, to me, in no time. Very good service from the company and the plumber. Left the work area clean and tidy. I will use this company again. Cost not bad either. Not out of line with what I expected.

When our boiler was serviced the plumber advised me to have the radiators flushed through as the boiler was 'kettling' which I didn't understand as not had radiators before but he told me what had to be done. He arranged for a quote to be sent to me and advised to have it done in the warmer weather as the heating would be off all day. The plumber that came to do the job was efficient, to the point of putting on slip-on covers on his work boots every time he came in the house. It was an all day job, he had to go in the roof etc. I had no idea it was such a big job (a woman of 78 I thought he attached a hose to the radiator and had a bucket to catch the water) My son had helped me move my blanket ottoman from the radiator and the plumber helped me put it back. The quote mentioned problems that could occur but there were no problems and the bungalow was left all okay when he had finished. He did say that when we had the new boiler - 2007 and not fitted by Simon Barker the plumber should have done the radiators then but from the mess he got out it was obvious it wasn't, and I would have remembered it anyway. I'm more than satisfied with the job and would recommend Simon Barker Plumbing and Heating to anyone.

I have used this company in the last three years for my boiler service, and have always find they arrive at the time they say, the workmen are always polite and clean up after themselves and I find them very efficient polite and give me advice on any queries I have, I can highly recommend this company to everyone.

Mark and Reece arrived promptly yesterday morning. Their work was neat, clean and tidy. Very efficient and conscientious. End of day one they cleaned up and hoovered before they left. Back promptly on day two. They are obviously very proud of the work they carry out and do so to a very high standard. Simon Barker Services is an approved servicer for Viessmann boilers. We have used them now for about five years. Their engineers are always polite, competent and efficient. Their charge for a boiler service is very reasonable. I would have no problem recommending the company to a prospective user.

Having recently moved into my new property, the upstairs toilet decided to stop flushing. I contacted Simon and an appointment was made for someone to visit in approximately a couple of weeks. Harry the young plumber arrived exactly on time (actually he was half an hour early). He changed the flush unit in the cistern which wasn’t easy as the bathroom is dated and connections had corroded with time. He was friendly, approachable and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, overnight a very slight leak developed from one of the connections but as soon as I contacted the company Harry immediately contacted me (within a couple of minutes) to arrange a time to come and resolve the problem. Again on arrival he was friendly, punctual and approachable. He had the issue resolved within 5-10 minutes and the toilet has been perfect since. I was so impressed with the company and Harry that I have them booked in to complete a boiler/heating check for me later this month.

First time I have used them to Service my Boiler and really impressed, on-time polite know what they're doing. Do not overcharge and certainly will use this company again in the future.

Always turns up when booked (in the event of unforeseen circumstances they always let you know) never, ever do unnecessary stuff. Excellent service always.

Looks fantastic! On our previous review we mentioned that we were going to have the bathroom refurbished. David from Simon Barker completed the final touches today. We are extremely happy with the work he has done. Our old bathroom has been transformed into a modern shower room. Simon Barker met with us at the bathroom suppliers and helped us choose fixtures and fittings. We couldn’t be happier. The renovation was completed within the quoted timeframe and as per our quote. During the renovation, David suggested improvements, which we accepted, and we are very glad we did. David took the time to answer our many questions as he went along and showed us how to clean and maintain the equipment.

It was the Christmas period and a central heating technician came out quickly to fix serious problems with the pressure on the central heating combi boiler. A new part was installed efficiently and quickly. The technician was polite and competent.

We had problems with our boiler constantly failing. A technician from Simon Barker came to repair the problem efficiently. He showed us the broken part and fitted the new part. The technician returned a week later as we wanted the boiler serviced as we had recently moved into the property. This was also done efficiently. We have since contracted Simon to completely refurbish our bathroom as a result of the good service received.

What a great service, polite, efficient, in a timely fashion. Great service would highly recommend. Advised, without being pushy, on other remedial work required.

When I moved to the area Simon Barker Ltd was recommended to me and I have not been disappointed. I have had work done in the kitchen, utility room, sitting room, bathroom and shower room. It has all been done with a minimum of disruption and with a high degree of professionalism. If I had to single out any of the excellent workmen it would have to be Dave, but I have to say everyone who came in to my home was polite and hardworking, and they all left the place they were working as clean and tidy as they found it. I would have no problem recommending the whole team.

When my wife and I needed a firm to replace and relocate our boiler and hot water tank in our new home, we had no hesitation in using Simon Barker's team. I would like to thank them consisting of Jordan, Brad and Sam who completed the task. Every evening they cleaned up leaving our house spotless and tidy. Totally respectful, particularly in these days of covid 19. A very neat and tidy job as usual. An enjoyable experience. I would recommend the firm for all plumbing work.

We have used Simon Barker Services since 2009 & have had no problems at all. From relatively small jobs such as the expansion vessel, up to a new boiler, they've all been completed satisfactorily with no recalls due bad workmanship. Prices are reasonable & they turn up when they say they will.

We first used Simon Barker and his team last year when we had a number of problems with our boiler. The solutions were quickly identified, parts ordered and fitted. At all times his guys were courteous, efficient and tidy. The invoice arrived promptly, clearly listed all the work that had been done and was very fair. Recently the boiler was due for a service, one phone call was all that was needed to agree a time and date and the young lady arrived on time, completed the job and left with the minimum of disruption to us.
