Jake was always on time, an extremly concientious and detail driven tradesman. He made sure to match the tiles and add details to ensure the porch was in keeping with the rest of the house. He was confidence inspiring at every step and completed the job in an extreemly proffesional and efficient manner. He was always polite, freindly, tidy and made sure he explained every stage and discussed all aspects of the job with me throughout. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a good job. I have recommended him to other members of my family and would also use this company again.

Jake was to install anew shower with simpler fittings which he researched and sent me a photo for my approval. Also an inadequate landing light needed replacing. Some time later I sent a photo. by email of my kitchen tap which was gently leaking with a query as to whether he could a find a similar replacement. I would not have trusted anyone else with my requests. I have used his services before so felt on safe ground. On his arrival he was also faced with a detached wardrobe door. All items were fitted and fully working in one morning. His work is of a high standard and he always makes sure that everything is explained before he leaves.

Jake replaced my patio doors. He identified some damp ingress and actioned accordingly. The work was completed promptly. He cleared everything away and left the area neat and tidy. He always came straight back to me answering any queries I had.

Jake fitted a complete new kitchen and appliances, lighting, flooring and ceiling. An exterior door was removed and the space bricked up. All work was done to our complete satisfaction, he was punctual and gave several good suggestions which improved the overall job. He went out of his way to enable us to keep the use of sink, cooker and washing machine at the end of each working day. They left the area clean and tidy at the end of each day. We were consulted each time before the electricity or water was turned off. I can recommend this firm with complete confidence. The only negative I can think of is Jake's ad libbing to the words of songs.

Initially, we only thought to have new kitchen and bathroom but it ended up as a whole home renovation and for the duration we lived and worked in it. Not ideal for either party but Jake Frampton made it happen for us and we were never without! We are so happy and grateful. Jake and Bob were perfectly professional every minute they were here and under very challenging circumstances too (4th floor flat with no lift). They achieved a demolition, waste removal, re-plastering and remodelling of our home, giving us a wonder new kitchen, bathroom, laundry, brand new study and new custom handmade wardrobes to match with the all the internal doors they replaced - all painted and finished to a very high standard. Surprisingly, the site (our home) was left clean & tidy at the end of each day - even the communal stairs was vacuumed. Whilst we ordered the items we wanted, Jake provided all the other items required and was ready with sage advice when we were in quandary. Any issues were resolved promptly and to our complete satisfaction. After the job was completed, Jake returned the following week to fit an outstanding item and was happy to answer the barrage of questions we suddenly had. We are so extremely grateful for the speed of what seemed the impossible and how personable, polite and professional Jake and his small team are. Now we have a lovely home and every inch of it works perfectly for us. We would not hesitate to use again and would recommend Simon Frampton Ltd to all.

Jake constructed an en-suite shower room in the guest bedroom, turning my initial ideas into a successful design. He was very thorough and professional and I am extremely pleased with the result. He went to considerable trouble to obtain a shower, basin, and toilet to the specifications I had in mind. Jake kept me fully informed throughout and was always punctual, polite, and helpful. Once the work was complete he returned to ensure everything was satisfactory. The final cost was as estimated. I would certainly recommend this firm.

Jake extended my kitchen. He bricked up the old back door and put in a new window; removed an internal half wall; moved plumbing, electrics and a tiled floor; fitted new units and put in new lighting. He seems to thrive on solving problems and was always positive and cheerful even when faced with unforeseen issues. He made the upheaval as easy as possible and even moved the old sink three times to ensure that I was never without one during the project. He always arrived on time, explained what he was going to do each day and why and left the house as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each afternoon. He concentrated on my project until it was finished and did not keep going off to other jobs. He and his small team did beautiful work and were always pleasant and friendly and easy to have around. I cannot recommend him enough and hope to have him back to do the bathroom.

Jake's (Simon's Son) organisation carried out the following works: a) Removed 2 x internal walls. b) Installed new Fitted Kitchen including New Boiler installation and Appliances. c) Tiled (Floor and Walls) and installed a new Bathroom including Shower, WC, Sink and Unit and Wall Cabinet. d) Rewired the whole Flat with New Wiring, Additional Sockets, New and Additional Lighting, New TV aerial Distribution System and New Telephone points. e) Removed "Artex" ceiling and replaced same with new Plaster Board. f) Made Good and plastered everything. d) Decorated all rooms. All work carried out was exceptional and, in the words of the Estate agent, returned the property to "Show Condition". During the period of renovation, the property was empty, and Jake managed the whole project without a problem. maintaining an effective line of 2-way communication with the owner throughout. All stages of the work were specified, costed and agreed in writing prior to commencement. Simon Frampton Ltd (Jake) was chosen on the back of other good reviews posted on this Website and on the basis of site visits to other properties where work had been carried out When you meet Jake, it becomes apparent very quickly that he is the man that you want to run your project /carry out work for you. Confident, Knowledgeable, Amenable, Trustworthy and Honest and Highly Skilled, Jake could not do enough to ensure that the project was completed successfully to the Highest Standard. Very Highly Recommended.

We would highly recommend Jake. The works were a new kitchen/dining room open plan extension and renovate the adjacent lounge and utility room. This involved removal of conservatory, knocking through external and internal walls, installation of steel beams, changing plumbing, drainage and electrics as required fitting of new kitchen, doors and decoration to finish. Throughout Jake was extremely professional, punctual and very friendly. He took care to explain what was being done and was so tidy. Meticulous in his work and not phased as any problems arose, coming up with innovative solutions. During the works, we gained trust in his opinion and recommendations. We would have no hesitation in using Jake again.

I am extremely pleased with the work done. Jake clad my utility room moved and tidied electrics for moving and installation of the lights. The carport was cladded and Jake made a handrail in the garden. I was very happy with the work done, which was to a very good and high standard. Jake was really prompt work long hours and was tidy, and clean up well at the end of the day, he let me know when he had to go to get extra supplies, he was very polite, efficient and turned up when he said he would. I am definitely going to ask Jake to do any future jobs.

From the moment Jake arrived for a quotation on our garage conversion he portrayed nothing but passion and was a fountain of knowledge in all aspects of the build. We had others come and quote but first impressions didn't come close to that of Jake! He went into great detail and showed real enthusiasm for the potential build, this didn't change from start to finish of him being here! He would talk us through each stage of the build which we thought was fantastic, he arrived on time every day and worked harder than any other tradesmen we have used previously. Jake would always clean up after every day and his attention to detail was just incredible! Simply put Jake is not your ordinary builder! He is a true gentleman and his work speaks for itself!! We would only ever use Jake for building work now no matter how long the wait is! We couldn't be more happy with the end result and the stress free nature it was carried out.

Really recommend Jake. He was great from start to finish. Professional, friendly, on time, tidy! He was a great communicator as well - he kept us informed each day what the next stages were. He was also really flexible with any changes we made. He was super friendly and we liked having him around. We also really trusted his opinion and recommendations on what we were doing. Our project was to remove two walls in our house - one load bearing and create a space for bifolds into the garden for a nice open plan kitchen / lounge. We also relocated the kitchen. We have had a fair few contractors in now and he was by far our favourite. So much so that for any future work we want doing we'll happily wait for him to be free! Definitely hire Jake :-)

Jake has just completed work on our property. We've had composite cladding installed to both gable ends of the bungalow as well as the sides of the dormers. We also had UPVC cladding put on our soffits. When somebody recommended Jake and we looked at the reviews, we were a little sceptical as they all sounded so unbelievably good. However, from the minute Jake came on-site to the minute he left it was obvious they were justified and we'd made an excellent choice. Knowledgeable, informative, excellent workmanship, extremely helpful and a really nice guy. At the end of each day, the site was left clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. We asked Jake if he could check our chimney whilst he was on the scaffolding as we'd had a slightly damp patch appear. He noticed a small hole by the lead flashing and simply filled it for us to resolve the problem as well as remove some weed that was growing on our chimney pot. We now have a very smart looking bungalow with minimal maintenance and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jake's services to anybody we meet.

Jake rescued a collapsing garage. Came promptly to give sensible advice. Strengthened and propped roof while demolishing collapsing wall and rebuilding. Whole job completed in good time inspite of supply difficulties at present time. Completed without fuss or mess and final result better than the original. Would thoroughly recommend.

Jake designed, supplied and installed a complete new kitchen for us. This entailed the removal and disposal of the existing kitchen, re-configuring the plumbing for the sink and gas supply for the cooker, installing a new ring main, replacing flooring and wall tiles, making good damaged plaster and complete redecoration throughout. All the work was completed to schedule and to an excellent standard. We found Jake to be very trustworthy, with a great work ethic. He gave us regular updates on progress throughout and was extremely and helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

I have used Jake countless times over the last 7 years, from new bathrooms to extensions. This time my dorma window was leaking so I got Jake around to make good. He replaced all the lead and removed the old tiles and replaced with a dark oak composite cladding, also replaced the old felt roof and upgraded it to a lovely rubber roof giving my dorma a clean and unique look. I could not be happier with the end result and have not and will not use another builder to work on my properties as Jake is 100% trustworthy, reliable and his work is outstanding, he will talk you through every step of the job keeping your mind at ease throughout. I have now booked him to do the same to my rear dorma. I would recommend Jake to all my friends and family. Jake has completed three different jobs for us since we moved here ten months ago - ranging from the addition of an external PVC door and surround to a passageway, to a complete replacement of a row of PVC windows to the major task of the installation of cladding to replace vertically hanging tiles on the walls of our house. He is the best builder we have ever used in our lifetime - a history of some 14 properties! Trustworthiness, reliability and punctuality are second to none. I doubt whether you could find a better or more congenial builder than Jake. He has been working on two projects over the last three months; the first converting our garage plus snug into an extra room with shower room and the second converting our separate kitchen and dinning rooms into a kitchen diner and installing a new kitchen. Jake and his sub-contractors, Bob (carpenter) and Matt (electrician) are all exceptionally good professionals. Jake came up with an excellent solution to a flooring issue in our kitchen. We had put off dealing with the floor for several months as previous builders had suggested that the entire floor needed to come up, not just the surface tiles, which would have involved removing kitchen units, skirting boards and some plaster work. Jake is extremely courteous. His attention to detail is second to none. He is punctual, conscientious and he left our home immaculate each day. He is a thoroughly pleasant man. We are absolutely delighted with our new floor. Thank goodness Jake was recommended to us by another very satisfied customer.

I was worried about finding someone who would do what I thought was a small job. Shower tray was unstable causing mastic to leave the wall. Jake came and gave me a quote for a new tray and putting 2 extra tiles for a splash back. I approve of the paperwork sent by Jake before the job was started - very professional. He discovered that the original shower tray was not properly installed! Boiling hot weather and Jake worked on regardless. Clean and tidy all the time and everything left tidy at night. New shower tray, tiles and 2 grab handles all done to perfection plus reinstalling of original glass protection. Had my first shower for a year this weekend. Jake is polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. Also a trustworthy advisor to those of us who haven't a clue about such things, especially women.

Jake is certainly a 'Trusted trader'. He enlarged my wet room and installed a saniflo as there was no immediate access to the sewage pipe. He did all the various jobs himself, including fitting a new radiator and tiling the wall. He listened carefully to my wishes and adapted as necessary. The finished room looks far better than i had expected. I have no hesitation in recommending him and shall certainly use his expertise in the future.

We hired Jake from recommendations we had seen on Which trusted traders. We were not disappointed Jake transformed the whole aspect of the lower half of our property by replacing two old worn out bay windows to the front in Georgian style replaced old patio doors and fitted new French doors which look superb, along with all the other downstairs windows. Jake's workmanship is first class and advises and helps to put things right as the work progresses, is prompt, courteous and leaves everything clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend Jake to my friends. We are now using him again to complete the transformation with new front and rear doors and side windows to finish the renovation project. Jake is a builder who listens to what you require keeps you informed throughout the whole process, offers good alternatives and design then carries out to the letter what you require.
