We chose Smart Carriers after a recommendation and they were amazing. From the first phone call with Julia and subsequent calls with David to the packing and moving, the service was impeccable. A team of 3 came on the Saturday before our move day to pack and part load. They did this brilliantly and efficiently whilst keeping my spirits up when it looked like our chain might fall apart at the last minute. On move day we had a team of 4 and they loaded us, disassembled our furniture and assembled us all back up again in our new home so quickly. Genuinely, I was super impressed. Thank you Smart Traders for taking the stress out of what was an extremely stressful weekend.

Dave Smart was prompt to come and quote, both the cheapest and the most helpful firm we asked. When the second half of our move was delayed at ten days' notice, he gave us an immediate and reasonable quote for storage. On the days of moving out and moving in, the crews were cheerful, helpful and efficient. Everything was delivered safely, and put in he places we asked. It couldn't have been better.

These guys handled my office move brilliantly. Nothing too much trouble - and kept smiling even when there were some large desks to get through some very narrow corridors and stairs. A top bunch of lads and an efficient quoting and booking service.

I cannot thank David and his team enough for all the help they gave us during our house move. What a professional service, from start to finish the guys from Smart Carriers went beyond expectations. Communication from initial enquiry, the site survey, documents etc all swift and the actual move day - wow. The guys are clean, courteous, careful and professional. Protective coverings placed on everything, everywhere. A very well managed 'operation' of loading the van etc and this was the same on both ends of the move. Honestly couldn't recommend this company enough, as per the title - worth their weight in gold. After David came round our house for the initial quote he was there barely 5 mins and we thought how does he know all that is going to fit? Well, clearly a man who knows what he is doing because it all fit perfectly. Right from the start these guys do not mess around, professional, careful, friendly and fast. We just can't fault these guys at all, we were so impressed with the way they conducted the whole move and especially impressed with the way they loaded the van, everything packed carefully and all the fragile items were very well protected and wrapped. On the day of the move it did not stop raining all day but they did not moan once, just carried on and done their job. We moved to Devon and these guys eased the stress of the move no end. We travelled down next morning and there they where outside our new house ready to unload and they where done in a couple of hours, unbelievable. If you are unsure whether you should use these guys read this review to put your mind at ease. Faultless. Thoroughly recommend.

The survey for the removal was carried out in person and thoroughly. The person carrying out the survey answered many common questions before I needed to ask them the removal on the day went very well, the 4 men working well together and they were friendly and respectful of our items. The men worked very hard all day (9am-7pm), and moved all of our items safely and in good condition. The company are good value for money and dismantled and reassembled the beds, included in the price of the removal. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the company are sometimes not contactable by telephone but always respond to emails so this is not really an issue.

Smart Carriers completed our move last month and we recommend them without reservation. David Smart visited us to perform the quote. He inspired a high level of confidence from that point onwards. No task was too big. Everything would be taken care of. I could find no other local business that could match on quality and price. Juli the office administrator was a delight to deal with. She provided clear and accurate communication and was quick to respond to any enquiry. The removal went very smoothly. The team were incredibly hard working. Our belongings were treated with care. Nothing was broken. All furniture was disassembled and reassembled perfectly. We have nothing but positives to share.
