We chose Smart Carriers after a recommendation and they were amazing. From the first phone call with Julia and subsequent calls with David to the packing and moving, the service was impeccable. A team of 3 came on the Saturday before our move day to pack and part load. They did this brilliantly and efficiently whilst keeping my spirits up when it looked like our chain might fall apart at the last minute. On move day we had a team of 4 and they loaded us, disassembled our furniture and assembled us all back up again in our new home so quickly. Genuinely, I was super impressed. Thank you Smart Traders for taking the stress out of what was an extremely stressful weekend.

Dave Smart was prompt to come and quote, both the cheapest and the most helpful firm we asked. When the second half of our move was delayed at ten days' notice, he gave us an immediate and reasonable quote for storage. On the days of moving out and moving in, the crews were cheerful, helpful and efficient. Everything was delivered safely, and put in he places we asked. It couldn't have been better.

These guys handled my office move brilliantly. Nothing too much trouble - and kept smiling even when there were some large desks to get through some very narrow corridors and stairs. A top bunch of lads and an efficient quoting and booking service.

I cannot thank David and his team enough for all the help they gave us during our house move. What a professional service, from start to finish the guys from Smart Carriers went beyond expectations. Communication from initial enquiry, the site survey, documents etc all swift and the actual move day - wow. The guys are clean, courteous, careful and professional. Protective coverings placed on everything, everywhere. A very well managed 'operation' of loading the van etc and this was the same on both ends of the move. Honestly couldn't recommend this company enough, as per the title - worth their weight in gold. After David came round our house for the initial quote he was there barely 5 mins and we thought how does he know all that is going to fit? Well, clearly a man who knows what he is doing because it all fit perfectly. Right from the start these guys do not mess around, professional, careful, friendly and fast. We just can't fault these guys at all, we were so impressed with the way they conducted the whole move and especially impressed with the way they loaded the van, everything packed carefully and all the fragile items were very well protected and wrapped. On the day of the move it did not stop raining all day but they did not moan once, just carried on and done their job. We moved to Devon and these guys eased the stress of the move no end. We travelled down next morning and there they where outside our new house ready to unload and they where done in a couple of hours, unbelievable. If you are unsure whether you should use these guys read this review to put your mind at ease. Faultless. Thoroughly recommend.

The survey for the removal was carried out in person and thoroughly. The person carrying out the survey answered many common questions before I needed to ask them the removal on the day went very well, the 4 men working well together and they were friendly and respectful of our items. The men worked very hard all day (9am-7pm), and moved all of our items safely and in good condition. The company are good value for money and dismantled and reassembled the beds, included in the price of the removal. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the company are sometimes not contactable by telephone but always respond to emails so this is not really an issue.

Smart Carriers completed our move last month and we recommend them without reservation. David Smart visited us to perform the quote. He inspired a high level of confidence from that point onwards. No task was too big. Everything would be taken care of. I could find no other local business that could match on quality and price. Juli the office administrator was a delight to deal with. She provided clear and accurate communication and was quick to respond to any enquiry. The removal went very smoothly. The team were incredibly hard working. Our belongings were treated with care. Nothing was broken. All furniture was disassembled and reassembled perfectly. We have nothing but positives to share. David came over promptly to give us a quotation, and just gave us a great feeling, so it was an easy decision to choose Smart Carriers. We packed ourselves, and Smart Carriers provided all of the boxes, tape and bubble wrap, when we ran out of bubble wrap they brought over more really quickly. We had a number of failed completion dates which was incredibly stressful and ended up exchanging 2 days before completion, with a 3 day move plan, we ended up a day short, but David (and Julia in the office) were really relaxed, put us at ease and managed to move things around to make sure he could fit us in. David and his team took great care in everything they moved, packed up all of our pictures and mirrors really carefully and in the pouring rain all day they all worked so hard and tirelessly on the day. They were brilliant and I would no hesitation in whole heartedly recommending them. Thanks guys!

Very professional service and a very helpful team. Despite problems, caused by outside sources, the move was completed with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of help and care.

Really pleased I booked Smart Carriers. These guys know what real work is. Every part of the service was spot on. The first visit from David Smart set me at ease. He came over on the same day I called him, on a Saturday, clearly set out the service options and had a quote to us by Monday. We opted for self-packing services and they provide all the boxes and packing material as standard well in advance. The team on the day were courteous and professional. They laid protective sheeting on the floors and carpets and were really careful when moving things around. The standard service includes taking apart the bed frames and wardrobes plus reassembly in the destination room of choice. They even take the clothes out the wardrobes, transport them in wardrobe boxes, and then put them back in. I am genuinely amazed at how hard the team worked. Thank you Smart Carriers.

David worked out a 3 day removal plan to take us from Hertfordshire to Wales with as little hassle as possible for a long move. His team have a relaxed & friendly approach while making sure that everything is professionally & quickly done. Nothing was too much trouble, any problem could be overcome, even removing & replacing the gate at our new home to get the removal van in and out!

A big thanks to the guys at Smart Carriers. Friendly, efficient and very professional. The packing was flawless and nothing broken. Certainly one of our best decisions was to get them to pack everything. Excellent office support and there was always someone answering the telephone. The unloading was fast and efficient and despite the tortured turns of a Victorian building everything was safely managed Into place.

We used Smart Carriers when we moved from London to the Forest of Dean. We were impressed by their great communication, professionalism and price. Moving home is stressful but they made it as stress free as possible. When issues arose because the previous owners of our new home were not moved out on completion, they were patient and quietly found solutions. I can't recommend these guys enough.

From the moment David Smart (owner of Smart Carriers Ltd) can round to our house to provide a quotation for moving our house contents to our new address he instilled us with confidence that his company was the right one for us. We went for the full packing service (great option) and four guys arrived the day before our move and swiftly and carefully started to pack all our house contents away. They completed most of the house in one day, returning the next day to finish the remainder. David and team did a great job helping us move our mum on the hottest day of the year. After 35 years in the same house it was quite a big job!
