Chris came the morning after the evening I had phoned to sort out a non-urgent problem of an outside drain that was getting quite blocked up. He explained his charges over the phone, sent me a video explaining them and gave me an itemised invoice afterwards. The problem was more complicated than at first anticipated but Chris did a thoroughly professional job and sorted it out and even moved my kitchen sink waste pipe to a more sensible place to help the sink drain faster. He was speedy and cheerful throughout. Given the age of my house it was not surprising such a problem had finally occurred but Chris assured me it should not happen again. He put his camera down the pipes to ensure all was clear. He cleaned the drain out completely and cleaned up afterwards. Left everything spotless. I chose him because he is a Which? Trusted Trader

We suffered a blocked external drain from a bathroom. This company was easy to contact, quick to respond and easy to communicate with throughout. After an initial visit (no charge) it transpired that there was a serious problem with the drain requiring some excavation. We arranged a second visit within the next few days. We were able to agree the work and cost before commncement. Cody and George spent a day on the remedial work. They were able to successfully overcome several problems that cropped up. They kept me updated on progress throughout. I felt they did a good job in difficult circumstances and feel confident in recommending the firm.

We had a blocked drain outside the house. I tried my DIY skills but the blockage defeated me and I was happy to use a professional. I found several firms via internet search and Smart Drainz was very quick to phone in response. They offered to come in 3 hours which was fine for us. The engineer, Cody, was personable and straightforward to deal with. He explained the basis of their charges -- in fact this had already been explained on the initial call. So I had a good idea of the likely cost. Cody knew what he was doing. He was at my home for 90 minutes, the job was done so we could do the washing up and I was happy to pay the requested fee. I always prefer to use a Which Trusted Trader if possible and this was another good experience.

I used Smart Drainz to unblock an external kitchen drain. The chap who turned up (Chris, who seems to deal with the Yeovil area) was very friendly, frank and open, and performed a quick and very good job of clearing the blockage. I was also impressed by his willingness to show me how to do it again myself next time, which is a great way of keeping me happy, but also making sure that I use them next time I have any other such issues. I was charged the rate I was quoted on the initial phone booking. Highly impressed !

Sorting out inadequate drainage to front of property. They came up with novel solutions, which would not have occurred to us. After being over quoted and messed around by several other companies I came across smart drainz. The initial phone call was informative, friendly and helpful. They did a full survey of the area and sent me the full report with photos. Firstly Chris arrived on time for the initial survey and showed me the result of the CCTV scan and explained the problem and solution.
