Smart Energy West Midlands has helped homeowners and businesses across the West Midlands make properties warmer, cheaper to run, and more energy efficient since 2016. Founded by Matthew Dransfield, who brings over 20 years' experience in the energy sector, we put honest advice and proper workmanship first — not a hard sell.
We cover the full range of home energy improvements: solar PV and battery storage, loft, cavity and solid wall insulation, ventilation, air source heat pumps, boiler upgrades, and retrofit coordination for larger projects. We're fully accredited and insured for extra peace of mind.

I cannot recommend this Company enough. My 92 year old mum needed a new boiler I contacted Smart Energy who arranged for surveyor to visit . It did involved a lot of work with fitting the new boiler upstairs , the walls upstairs were insulted and plaster boarded to make her home energy efficient The work took approximately a week . The men that carried out the work were efficient helpful and so courteous. They tidied up each day and took into consideration my mums health issues, even stopping late to get the works done quickly for her. Carpet were neatly cut and new skirting boards fixed where needed. First class work

Smart Energy were the best company I have had work done by.They said they would be here at 8am which I thought was optimistic but were on my drive at 7.45 both days. They did a great job efficiently ,were tidy and completed the work quickly with little disruption.They were also polite and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Altogether I couldn't be more pleased and would strongly recommend them.

From the very beginning of enquiring about the installation of solar panels and replacing of my very old storage heaters I have found Smart Energy to be very professional from the planning right through to the installation. I found the team to be very polite and accommodating, always available to deal with any enquiries that I had and if not, would always get back to me in good time. The workmanship of the installation was carried out to a professional standard and at each stage was clearly explained. The work force were friendly and easy to get along with, punctual and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Smart Energy to anyone wishing to have any solar panels or storage heating fitted.

Martin from Smart energy, removed an old back boiler and installed a new combi boiler. They arrived dead on schedule, the team introduced themselves and they got straight to the job. I have to say, each and everyone of the men were very polite and considerate. Before they started they covered all the carpets, removed the old boiler with minimal fuss and mess, and then they disposed the old boiler and parts and all the packaging from the new one. After installing the boiler, they explained in detail of how it all works and also left me a number to call if I had any problems. They cleaned everywhere, they left the house absolutely spotless. Honestly I would highly recommend this company with confidence.

I had my new heating system put in at end of March heat pump and solar panels. Smart Energy WM LTD all the lads came and got everything done for me within the week and would recommend the team to anyone. They all turned up on time were tidy and polite and could have a banter with them l would have the team back any time great bunch of guys and respected my property can't fault them work as a team and tidy workers from all .thank you Smart Energy WM LTD.

Thank you to Smart Energy for installing not only solar to our property but energy efficient windows too. The saving on our bills have been amazing. The jobs were done when agreed and on budget.
