Replacement Sealed Units
Since 2003 Smashing Windows has replaced over 40,000 double glazed sealed units
The sealed units are taken out of the frames and new ones put in their place, so no need to replace the frame! We can replace the double glazed units in most types of frames, such as UPVC, aluminium or wood. We also fit new handles or hinges, and even cat and dog flaps if required

We needed a small window replaced and had used smashing windows to help with two door handles which were faulty so asked for a quote. Very good price compared to cost of same size window previously replaced by another company. Friendly and courteous thoughout and were on time, and completed the job very quickly. New to our house and the area we needed a double glazing company to replace several sealed units in the windows and replace the front door which was very crooked in its frame. There were many companies to choose from and so I contacted several for quotes. One firm never returned my call but Smashing Windows contacted me quickly and were friendly and informative from the start. There was no hard sell and Martin was happy to suggest potential “fixes” for our wonky door rather than having to replace it but we decided to change the door. The fitter arrived on time was meticulous and tidy. The quality of the door was high and the cost reasonable. I would definitely use Smashing Windows again.

Used Smashing Windows based on reviews I had read. They did not disappoint. Martin came out and looked at four windows that had blown and measured up. Sent me quote by email as promised same day. Worked was booked in and guys came out and completed today. They did a great job, arrived on time and were super polite and pleasant. Had 20 double glazed units replaced, plus adjustments on 5 others. Damian and Charlie were very pleasant and worked around the paraphernalia in our cluttered house.
