Replacement Sealed Units

Since 2003 Smashing Windows has replaced over 40,000 double glazed sealed units
The sealed units are taken out of the frames and new ones put in their place, so no need to replace the frame! We can replace the double glazed units in most types of frames, such as UPVC, aluminium or wood. We also fit new handles or hinges, and even cat and dog flaps if required

New to our house and the area we needed a double glazing company to replace several sealed units in the windows and replace the front door which was very crooked in its frame. There were many companies to choose from and so I contacted several for quotes. One firm never returned my call but Smashing Windows contacted me quickly and were friendly and informative from the start. There was no hard sell and Martin was happy to suggest potential “fixes” for our wonky door rather than having to replace it but we decided to change the door. The fitter arrived on time was meticulous and tidy. The quality of the door was high and the cost reasonable. I would definitely use Smashing Windows again.

Worked was booked in and guys came out and completed today. They did a great job, arrived on time and were super polite and pleasant. Martin communicated with me prior to arriving at my house. He visited the property first to measure the window and kept me updated of when to expect the job to be done. We agreed an appropriate and suitable time and day. He was punctual, approachable, professional and friendly. He removed the broken window and fitted a new one with such skills that I managed to go back to work sooner than I The work was suitably priced; he even offered me a discount! Payment options were also available, making the transaction very easy and hassle-free. He ensured the work was done at the higher standard. He cleaned the area and has left very satisfied customers. We had 2 failed double glazed panels, they quoted 2 weeks to complete. This was achieved. Very impressed as 'Georgian' bars no longer available. Took old panels apart and fitted into new - in the meantime supplied 2 plain panels to secure the house. All for a very reasonable charge. Well done!

Broken window was measured up, manufactured and replaced within ten days. Replacement was an excellent match for the previous leaded design. Installer and estimator were both pleasant to deal with and arrived on time. Installer also realigned my front door for no extra charge!

Have used Smashing Windows several times when my seals have gone on my double glazing to replace individual units and would recommend them. Reasonably priced, always pleasant people to deal with and deliver what they say. Also use them for window cleaning regularly and again do a good job for reasonable price.
