About
We are a Local independent Family run Business that has been established since 2002. We are based in Andover and cover Andover, Winchester, Romsey, Salisbury, Amesbury and all villages in-between, though we do travel further when our clients know we are the right Installers for the job.
The Company is run by Stuart Thompson an ex-forces radio operator for the 1st Royal Tank Regiment. He has over 20 years in Radio/Telecoms industry’s.
We are fully insured and all our work comes complete with 12 months guarantee on parts and Labour.

I contacted SMT to get a rough quote for fitting a new aerial and Stuart not only talked through likely costs but also explained some possible problems based on his experience of my area. Thankfully reception was better than expected when Stuart was able accommodate the fitting a few days later and he very rapidly installed a new aerial and amplifier in my loft, checked all TV points around the house were working correctly and even re-tuned my TV whilst providing advice on tuning future devices. Overall a fast and very efficient service, all at reasonable cost (which was also fully broken down on the invoice) and guaranteed for 12 months.

Stuart came out at short notice, after we moved in and found we had no TV reception. He was able to give us reception using an existing dish and removed an old one, giving a full explanation of what he was doing and different cost options. He was efficient, careful and really helpful throughout. And reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend him!

Called SMT Aerials after suffering reception problems with the TV's in the house and seeing his positive reviews on Which Trusted trader. He was able to attend within a few hours on a Saturday morning and provided a highly professional service at a very reasonable cost. He immediatly identified the problem and swiftly replaced a very old TV aerial and amplifier with the minimum of fuss. Carried out proper checks to ensure that everything was working properly. Would highly recommend him and would have no hesitation in using his services again or recommending him to others.

Stuart arrived within the time frame that he gave me and had the courtesy to phone me twenty minutes prior to his arrival. The problem with the television was that I could only receive two channels. Stuart was able to detect the source of the problem quickly and replaced and fitted the mainmast amplifier in a more convenient location in the house. His pricing was transparent and competitive. I can thoroughly recommend him; a very professional service.

We moved into a new home to find we had no tv aerial. Stuart came out at his earliest possible time and in no time at all our little one has Peppa Pig and Simon the Rabbit on the TV. He was also happy to remove the old Sat dish from the front of the building and dispose of it. Thank you for such an easy process.

Highly recommend Stu for his standard of work, great communication and integrity while on the job. No bluffing or blather, just straight-up solid advice and products.
