We have been experiencing problems with our TV reception and found Stuart’s details via Which Trusted Traders. A quick phone call managed to diagnose the potential problem. After trying to find a mutual time to come to complete the work, Stuart offered to come to the house within half an hour! He arrived shortly afterwards, was very respectful of our home, removing his shoes when he arrived. He was very thorough in his work, explaining things as he went along. The signal to the house posed a problem but he tried various ways to fix this and found a solution. The work was completed and his charges were very reasonable. Stuart was asked to resite an exterior tv aerial, and gave a viable estimate over the phone. It was convenient for both parties for the 1-hour job to be done the following day. Stuart arrived as planned and progressed the job professionally; he was not chatty but answered in full the questions I posed. He was considerate about removing outdoor footware when indoors. The job had no unseen complications; the final invoiced amount was less than the provisional estimate.

Asked Stuart to install an aerial on a house we have just bought which only had a satellite dish. Stuart did an assessment of what was needed, gave us a quote, came back the next day and did a great job installing the new aerial and amplifier, and removing old cables etc. Didn't try to persuade us to have anything we didn't need (he checked whether or not we needed an amplifier before installing one, we did, but expected that), tested the signal on completion and left everything tidy. Charged us what he had quoted, and work is fully guaranteed. Professional, and a nice guy. Would recommend one hundred percent.

After discovering that we needed to replace our digital TV aerial I contacted SMT to arrange a replacement, I was advised on the correct product that we needed & any associated parts, an appointment & price was agreed and within 24 hrs Stuart had arrived, installed & tested the new equipment and furthermore set up the TV and gave us professional advice going forward to achieve the best from the product. Stuart was extremely courteous throughout & kept to the plan & original price as agreed. He was happy to answer questions regarding available equipment and would highly recommend this company. Made appointment within less than 24 hours of first call, Advised what required doing and most cost effective method for sorting out the problem, went off finished his other jobs for the day, purchased the equipment and came back to fit later that afternoon, we had TV that evening. Stuart arrived in answer to our queries about poor TV reception. The weather was bad, he agreed to come the next morning and install a new aerial and pole, this was after showing me how poor our reception had become. Stuart arrived and got on immediately with replacing our aerial for a new one, it took him very little time before coming inside and up into the loft to complete the job. As soon as he walked through the door he removed his shoes without being asked to, just another example of his attention to detail and desire to make a good impression. He explained to me what he'd done, and that he guaranteed his work for a year, another thing to be really pleased about. He is easy to talk with, and was a pleasure to have around the house. he carefully monitored several channels afterwards for their reception before giving me a detailed invoice and leaving. I contacted SMT to get a rough quote for fitting a new aerial and Stuart not only talked through likely costs but also explained some possible problems based on his experience of my area. Thankfully reception was better than expected when Stuart was able accommodate the fitting a few days later and he very rapidly installed a new aerial and amplifier in my loft, checked all TV points around the house were working correctly and even re-tuned my TV whilst providing advice on tuning future devices. Overall a fast and very efficient service, all at reasonable cost (which was also fully broken down on the invoice) and guaranteed for 12 months.

He was able to attend within a few hours on a Saturday morning and provided a highly professional service at a very reasonable cost. He immediatly identified the problem and swiftly replaced a very old TV aerial and amplifier with the minimum of fuss. Carried out proper checks to ensure that everything was working properly. Would highly recommend him and would have no hesitation in using his services again or recommending him to others.

Stuart arrived within the time frame that he gave me and had the courtesy to phone me twenty minutes prior to his arrival. The problem with the television was that I could only receive two channels. Stuart was able to detect the source of the problem quickly and replaced and fitted the mainmast amplifier in a more convenient location in the house. His pricing was transparent and competitive. I can thoroughly recommend him; a very professional service.

Stuart is a really friendly and helpful person that clearly knows his business of TV installation. He provided a full explanation of the options and made clear logical recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others, although I think he has done such a good job I probably wont need to!

We have a Victoria three-storey house with decorative roof finials, and Stuart could not rule out causing damage to the finials with his ladders, but came up with a perfectly acceptable solution, fixing the aerial on a long pole to the rear of the property. He gave us a clear, itemised quotation for all the materials needed for the work, and also recommended deterrent bird spikes, which would not have occurred to me. The date and time were agreed with him for installation. He rang me to keep me updated on progress and arrived when he said he would. Despite wet and miserable conditions, he installed the aerial, aligned and tested its signal, and explained exactly what he had done. He ran three cables into the house for individual TV points, and then tested them to ensure they were working properly. An additional amplifier was also put in to give optimum signal strength. Stuart worked quickly, was clean and tidy and polite. His quotation was very reasonable and, even though he needed to use an additional piece of equipment, he refused to charge me for it because he hadn't included it in his quotation. His work is guaranteed for 12 months; customer service second to none. I am 100% satisfied with what he did, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again if necessary or to recommend him wholeheartedly.

Contacted SMT requesting that they review the aerial configuration and remove old H type aerial. SMT arrived on time, reviewed set up as requested, advised no need to replace YAG aerial. I confirmed old H type aerial was redundant and removed. All work was done quickly and efficiently.
