I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart. He replied promptly to my enquiry and kept me updated as soon as he was unavoidably delayed. He worked quickly and efficiently and sorted the problem effectively. He tidied up after himself. He did not take the opportunity to relocate my aerial, which he could have done, so generating more business for himself and I feel I had value for money. 10/10.

We had problems on all TVs with sound and vision breaking up. Stuart arrived the day after my call and immediately recognised the problem - antiquated equipment. He recommended replacing the amplifier and aerial, and re-tuning the sets. All this was done in an hour. Reception is now perfect (and sharper than before), and more channels are accessible.

I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart. We called him a week ago, he turned up on time, saw the problem, gave us a choice of options to resolve the very intermittent picture and loss of TV channels we experienced, and did not push for the most complex/expensive solution (replacing whole aerial and cabling), but did give us an estimate of what this might cost. He had the required spares/new equipment in his van (coaxial cable, splitter boxes, terminations, etc. etc.) to immediately fix our problem then and there. Very quick work, good price, efficient, friendly and courteous, and explained clearly what he was doing/had done. Re-tuned our TVs and also removed annoying "New Channels Found" messages that always appears. Invoiced then and there and delighted to pay. All wrapped up in an hour.

Stuart Thompson was recommended to me to replace my external roof-top TV aerial with a new aerial inside my roof-space (I had problems with pigeons using the roof-top aerial as a perch and pooping all over my patio). Stuart was happy to assess whether an interior aerial would receive a strong enough signal before commencing the work and starting his paid time (rather than me having to pay a hefty call-out charge for a possible no-go situation). His quote was competitive and the work was complete within an hour, including him removing the old, external aerial down and taking it away for disposal/recycling. Chose SMT Andover from a good web page. Stuart Thompson responded quickly to emails and gave an acceptable quote for a new satellite dish and installation. Arrived at appointed time and gave sound advice on siting before commencement of work. Installation completed satisfactorily and to quoted cost. Recommended.

Rang Stuart in the morning and explained my problem. He arrived next day on time and told me what he intended to do to solve my problem. Off he went. Next time I saw him, he said that it was all finished, and I could have a look if I wanted. He asked to borrow the vacuum, which we gave, reluctantly, when all finished, and paid for, he left. All I have is the invoice, tidy house and a few TVs that actually work. Amazing.

I called Stuart on a Friday afternoon and he came to set up my new BT broadband connection. The house is very new and the service hadn't been installed before so there were no existing connections in the house. Stuart. He diagnosed that no aerial was connected, checked in the loft and found a basic set up. Installed a4 way signal amplifier and then connected the phone line and set up the broadband from there. Really impressed with his professionalism and his ability to communicate what the issues were and how he was gong to fix them .Overall installation was about an hour and submitted his invoice at the end of his call. Brilliant service!

I called Stuart in the morning to fit a loft aerial. He was with us by mid-afternoon and did an excellent, quality job, at a very fair price. He had all the parts he needed and the job was finished, done and dusted within 2 hours. I would have no hesitation recommending SMT Aerials.

We had a problem with the poor work that had previously been done on our TV aerial connections in the house. Stuart sorted it all out quickly and with no fuss. He was very helpful and made sure we were entirely happy before he left. Also more than reasonable price for all the work

After recent bad weather we lost the majority of our TV transmission on our Freesat boxes. Stuart quickly established that the weak signal was due to corrosion and water damage to the LNB on the dish and immediately replaced the faulty component. He retuned the two affected TVs and we now have many more channels than we really need! Stuart provides a 12 month warranty on the labour and the new LNB. Job well done and at reasonable cost.

Stuart did a great job taking down my tv aerial, which was on its last legs due to recent strong winds and with it also being awkwardly positioned too. A new aerial was installed and again Stuart did a nice of job of it and left everything neat and tidy.

Used SMT for the first time to run wire up to a new location. Stuart turned up on time to do the quote and was able to return within 5 days to run the cable. Work was carried out quickly and professionally. Grommets fitted where the new wire passed through exterior walls. Wiring was concealed where possible. The final job looks extremely neat and works a treat. On top of that the price was very reasonable. A happy customer.

Great work sorting our signal out and come round quick to sort and was tidy. Watching great HD TV now with fuzzy screen and messages saying no signal. Thank you!

Nice to find a local trader who knows his stuff, quickly identifies the problem and resolves it on the spot. Stuart keen to make sure everything is working to satisfaction after Aerial replacement was completed. Straightforward and honest service at sensible price.

Saturday before Xmas, our sat. dish breaks. Phoned SMT at about 1.00pm, a new dish fitted by 4.15pm the same day. Cannot ask for better service.

Our old aerials on the chimney in the middle of our thatched roof needed to be removed and new aerials mounted else where. Stuart visited us and advised us where to mount the new aerials and where to run the cables. He then provided a detailed quotation which we accepted. On the agreed day, the weather was appalling! Stuart 'phoned us to discuss what to do. As agreed, he arrived early next morning, the weather was fine, and completed the job very professionally - and he only had one cup of tea!
