We are a fully insured trusted Electrical Contractor with over 45 years of both Domestic & Commercial building site experience. We have spent over 34 of those years as a fully approved member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting. More recently have also become a member of the Government Endorsed Scheme "TrustMark".

We contacted Colin at SNC to replace a light fitting and look at a faulty fan. Colin was really fantastic. He removed the old light fitting and replaced it. He had all the necessary fittings and worked quickly, efficiently and with zero mess. Throughout all, Colin was very pleasant and a joy to have in the house. When I asked Colin about the fan, he also suggested a really clever solution to the problem of condensation in our small bathroom (which has no outside light) - something I hadn't figured out. Colin really thinks about how he can do the best job possible. I really trust him to look after his customers and I will be asking Colin to do all the electrical work I need from now on. I cannot recommend him highly enough: he's excellent.

This was the second electrical job Colin has done for me after helping hang (and run a new connection for) a ceiling lamp in 2022. Colin is very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was quick to respond when I got in touch asking about his availability to look at an issue with the strip lights in my bathroom. He diagnosed the problem on a first visit, advised on the cost and timeframes for procuring a replacement part I needed before proceeding with the job, and then returned to do the repair on a date that was convenient for me. I haven't used other electricians so can't comment on the relative value of Colin's services vis-a-vis others. However, he came recommended from a friend and I would recommend him to others as he is a nice person to work with and does a thorough job.

Colin Clarke fitted a new fuse box to replace one installed in 1983. It has worked without problems and he did an excellent job on it. He is a helpful man, willing to go the extra mile. He had previously carried out investigations to track down a fault in one of the lighting circuits and was able to sort out a problem with a light fitting that several other electricians had declined to touch. He has provided useful advice occasionally on the phone and his prices are very reasonable.

The dimmer lights in the lounge were not working properly. SNC Facilities came and quickly assessed the problem, explained to me what needed to be done and sorted out the issue. The service was polite and professional, I was pleased with the outcome and would use them again.
