A couple of years ago we were looking for a contractor to install solar panels on our new build garage, to include EV charging and battery storage. Ben was recommended to us by a work colleague who had used him for their project. There were a myriad of options to choose from and Ben was helpful in identifying the pros and cons of different solutions - most importantly highlighting where we could save money. It was this ‘partnership’ approach that meant we felt comfortable working with Ben, rather than trying to speak to multiple contractors and focus solely on price. Ben and his team were extremely flexible to fit around our garage build which was complicated by planning permissions, installation of 3-phase electricity etc and were happy to liaise with the other contractors were necessary, rather than insist on only dealing through me, which saved a lot of time. The installation has been near faultless and the only minor issue was dealt with extremely quickly and without quibble. There were no hidden costs so everything with installed on line with the agreed quotation. I would strongly recommend Ben and Sogosolar.

We had 13 panels installed 9 years ago and we are still happy with them. Ben installed the system in the timescale quoted and the price quoted. Very efficient and friendly. I have recommended SoGo to other people and will continue to do so. There was a minor problem with one of the optimisers recently which Ben resolved quickly.

SO GO installed 14 panels on our roof (4.47 kW peak) along with a storage battery system (7.5 kWh) at the end of 2018 as our roof was being replaced. SO GO provided mounting components in advance to our roofing contractors so that they could be built into the new roof, and then carried out the installation very efficiently within two days, including all electrical installations. SO GO provided predictions regarding likely performance, and they were spot on: the system has so far generated 29800 kWh giving a considerable reduction in our energy bill and making us "greener". SO GO have been available to answer enquiries and to deal with a few issues. We have referred some of our neighbours to SO GO.

Very pleased with my Solarwatt system of panels and inverter. Installed mid August and now earning me money from the SEG export. I discussed a number of options with Ben who was very patient and has installed a flexible system I can add to. Friendly company, no hard sell, quick to respond to emails and phone calls.

We employed SogoSolar to install 3 black Meyer Berger solar panels with an in-roof frame, Enphase micro inverters within the roof void and an Enphase IQ battery at the side of the house. The work was carried out to time and budget including re-slating the roof to contain the frame for the solar panels. Handover documentation was received at completion and Ben has always been available to answer questions. The installation has proved trouble free over the past 18 months and the Enphase app is easy to use. I would certainly recommend SogoSolar to anyone looking for a solar panel installation.

Ben and team did a great job of selecting an appropriate system for my small terrace roof of 6 panels and a battery, then working with me to agree on satisfactory cable routings and equipment placement. The information provided before placing my order was reassuring and showed good depth of knowledge and an ability to listen to my thoughts and calm my worries. With their advice, I was able to prepare enough space for them, and they then worked hard to complete the installation in only 2 days. They were pleasant company, polite and flexible people who were a pleasure to have working in my house with a minimum of disruption. I've been very pleased with the neat work and the ongoing remote support as I learn the system.

I contacted SoGoSolar in February 2024 because I wanted to install solar panels on my home in West London. I wasn't able to go ahead with this until autumn last year. In the meantime SoGoSolar patiently dealt with my lack of decision and Ben came round, surveyed and came up with a final plan and estimate. Scaffolding went up in November '24 but it soon became clear that the slightly unusual roof tiles meant that my roofer would have to carry out the fixing side of things. Having decided to consider a solar panel installation we contacted several companies for advice and quotes. Two companies were the most responsive, visited our property and provided detailed quotes. Since the installation the follow-up service has been excellent and four months on we are exceptionally pleased with the performance of the system.

As a novice to the world of solar right from the initial call with Ben you felt reassured that you were not being sold to but more being educated, advised and guided as to what might be the best system in terms of equipment and layout. This sense of trust only comes when it's clear that your 'salesman' has been in the industry for a long time, overseen numerous installations of different complexity and can actually do the work themselves. Ben was very patient with the barrage of questions and really helpful with setting out the end to end process and likely timescales of third party activities e.g. mains fuse upgrades. He also accommodated a pause in the installation when it became clear that part of our roof would need repairing prior to installing the final panels. Alex and Richard were exceptionally thorough and left the roof and gutters in a far cleaner state than they found it! Would have no hesitation in recommending SoGoSolar
